Obama-Sebelius talking points

obamasebelius14.jpgScott Rothschild of the Lawrence Journal-World did an entertaining job of boiling down the increasingly tiresome conventional wisdom on a potential Obama-Sebelius ticket. Pros include: “Red state street cred” and “They are both jocks.” Among the cons: “Governor, you are no Hillary Clinton” and “Sebelius-Romney debate would put nation to sleep for years.”
One item made both lists: “National media would parachute into Kansas and write ‘Dorothy’ leads.”

The ‘old gray mare’ doesn’t have what it takes to be a sitting Vice President.

Other than showing up at dinner parties in a gown, I can’t think of anything she would be good at other than pandering to special interests.

Kate as VP only makes sense if my Gore Hypothesis is correct. She adds nothing to an Obama led ticket — but she adds much to a Gore led ticket. My theory (google Green Gornet to find it) is that Obama is merely a tool of Al Gore, and that the switcheroo will come in Denver next month.

If I am correct then Al will need some bling bling for his ticket. If he cannot take Obama (storm clouds are gathering) then what symbol of minority advancement will he grab? Governor Richardson or Governor Sebellius must be near the top of those lists.
And Kate certainly proved her worthiness in the Kansas coal field battle, did she not?

Obama-Sebelius ticket, OH SNORE, what are people thinking.
I hope people advocating that have enough neural tissue to continue to breath.

George Tiller is the reason why Obama will not pick Kathy of Kansas.
If you did an opinion poll of only those who call themselves “prochoice” you would find a large number of those “prochoice” voters do not support late term abortions.
Kansas law, and Kansas practice, is far more liberal, and far less restrictive, than the abortion laws in nearly every other state, including New York.
If Obama picks Kathy, Tiller will be Obama’s running mate.
Why did Obama come out a few weeks ago stating that “emotional health” was not a valid reason for a late term abortion?
Obama knows that the abortion issue does not help him.
There is no good reason to Tiller’s buddy, Kathy of Kansas, on the ticket.

Oh crap, and I’m sure she was counting on your endorsement. What will the Democratic party do now without the backing of Paul?

THIS progressive already will not vote for Obama.

Adding on pander Kathy does nothing to mitigate that.

remove your own bias for a moment and realize an important point:
The abortion issue hurts prochoicers candidates!

The abortion issue, alone, is not enough to determine a race, but the “prolife increment” — or the number of people who vote based on abortion as a single issue, almost always favors the prolife candidate by a few percentage points. And, this is for abortion in general.

When it comes to late term abortions? The prochoice position is a loser at the polls.

Obama knows this, that is why Obama is watering down his radical proabortion position.

Hillary and Bill know this. That is why Hillary and Bill were both too smart to have very many pictures of themselves taken with late term abortionists.

“remove your own bias for a moment and realize an important point:
The abortion issue hurts prochoicers candidates!”

That must explain why the Republican party in Kansas dropped the issue from their last election campaign. Had abortion hurt Democrats so much then how did Gov. Sebelius win re-election and the Democrats gain seats?

Facts speak against you Paul, but that’s nothing new.

    Grow up will you?
You are so biased that you can not even have a discussion on facts.
I said, clearly, that the abortion issue alone was not enough to make or break a political race.
However, those who vote “single issue” on abortion tend to vote prolife.
The Eagle, and the left, knows this point.
That is why the Eagle and the MSM dig up all kinds of dirt on prolife candidates, to give the public a reason to vote against that candidate.

Try this one: Why did Nancy Pelosi recruit so many prolife Democrats to run for Congress, 2 years ago?

You will find very few people with any political knowledge who will argue against the existence prolife incrimental advantage:

    http://www.nrlpac.org/pro-life%20increment.htm

Liberals know that the prolife advantage exists. Democrats respond by recruiting prolife Democrats, when they can, or by trashing prolife Republicans, on other issues.

ProChoicer PACs respond with heavy campaign finance money, which the prochoice candidates wisely spend on issues other than abortion.

Obama wants to look like a “moderate” with red state appeal.
    Kathleen is too liberal.
