More getting to know Kansas’ governor

sebeliusWonder how many Kansans know most or all of U.S. News & World Report’s “10 Things You Didn’t Know About Kathleen Sebelius.” Here’s one: “Kathleen attended all-girls schools all the way through college. She thrived in that environment, where, she has said, she ‘was never told, overtly or covertly, girls couldn’t do everything.’”

I already know way more about our Governor than I ever wanted to. The only thing we need to know is that in Jan.2011, she is outa here.

prissychrissy, you wouldn’t feel that way about Sebelius if she were, god forbid, a republican.

She has been a GREAT governor!

The old gray mare put everyone to sleep with that response.

The media says Obama’s mama is from Kansas like that makes him a Kansan. I am not a native Kansan but feel used when the media says, “Obama’s mom from Kansas.” It is like they are trying to promote Obama’s white part.

Really? I would have figured it was because they were mentioning that Obama has a connection to Kansas. The Eagle mentioned Tim Kaine’s mom was from El Dorado, is that the media promoting Tim Kaine’s white part?

    Kathleen is Tiller’s girl.
That should be enough to keep Kathleen off the ticket.
Add to that, Kathleen’s veto of the coal plant.
Energy is an issue this year, and Kathleen is on the wrong side.

This may be news to you but Gov. Sebelius is a Democrat so she won’t be on the Republican ticket supporting Republican issues of dirty coal, reliance on foreign oil, and executing women for having abortions.

    “Franklin” –

Please quit clouding the important issues with trivia.

What everyone really wants to know is:

What percentage of Sebelius’ blood is “Arab?”

I know that you have a problem with logic, but let me explain, again for those who are not up on the “Arab blood” argument you and others keep tossing out there.

First, I have made the factual point:

We have had 5 Black Presidents, or at least, we have had at least 5 Presidents of the United States who had a very high percentage of Black Heritage. My source for this information is a Black Medical Doctor who uses this information to fight the racist “Bell Curve” theory:

    http://www.computerhealth.org/ebook/5blkpres.htm

Then, I made the case that Obama DOES have Arab Heritage. We can debate that percentage, but it does exist:

    http://kennethelamb.blogspot.com/2008/02/barak-obama-questions-about-ethnic.html

Now, you can attack Kenneth Lamb’s research all you want, but I made clear, after the “Obama Arab?” posts that I had a motive:

IF you think that it is distateful for us to figure out “racial percentages” how in the world can you justify affirmative action?

IF you think it is distasteful for us to figure out “racial percentages” how in the world can you justify “minority set aside” programs?

IF you think it is distateful for us to figure out “racial percentages” how in the world can you support “reparations” to Black people, for slavery?

Will a recent African immigrant deserve such reparations? Why would a recent African immigrant deserve Affirmative Action in job interviews and hiring decisions?

Many Africans were very involved in the slave trade.

Many Irish immigrants gave their lives, as forced conscripts in the Civil War, to end slavery.

You find my research, into Obama’s heritage, distateful?

Obama wrote a dishonest autobiography which used the word “race” in its title. Obama admitted, later, that his book was not accurate.

So, Obama is allowed to lie?

So, the rest of us are not even allowed to ask questions?

I have supported Blacks for public office

I have supported Arabs for public office.

There is no racism or bigotry in me.

However, Obama is not telling us the truth about his past, or his radical Moslem sympathies.

    Good form, “Franklin!” –

(Are you sure you aren’t “RedWhiteNBlue” sometimes?)

    I know your hair-brained (hare-brained?) bigot’s rant about Obama.

The question was how “Arab” is Sebelius?”

I’m sure you’ve vetted all the candidates on this vitally important issue, haven’t you?

Wrong as usual, apoophis. I thought Mr. “High and Tight” was a terrible Gov. In fact I can’t think of a Governor in my lifetime that was worth walking across the street to spit on. For over thirty years, with the possible exception of Finney, we have had to suffer with the handpicked candidate that the JOCO fat cats foisted upon us. I think Virginia has it right. One, two year term and then your out of there.
Of course I can only dream about what might have been in 2002. If only Shallenberger could have defeated K.S. With him as Gov. and P. Kline as A.G., it would have been glorious.
