Linda when the major donation bundlers (hundred of thousands)for both Obama and Clinton are now in jail on felony charges I find it hard to believe you would even mention a simple thing like failure to report mail expense from the national party.

Rezko, Shu and you say this is fitting 'right' in. It looks more like 'left' in. Typical near sightedness by the libs.

When did Jindal become a member of the Catholic clergy in order to perform an exorcism? Will the Church excommunicate him for heresy?

Paul is correct that Catholics can believe in evolution without any problem - at least many Catholics.

Remember - the guy who wrote the creation story was not there. And, according to at least one analysis of the writings in the Torah the time period was billions of years.

"George W. Bush volunteered for duty in Vietnam."

No way Paul. He could have done that at any US Army recruiting station in the country and been in Nam in months. The whole purpose of the well-connected going into the NG back then was to AVOID Nam. That is why those of us without connections could NOT get in.

Even tho he is new to politics, he seems to be fitting "right" in!
-------

Jindal receives $2,500 fine in ethics case

The state Board of Ethics approved a $2,500 fine Thursday to settle a finance reporting violation by Gov. Bobby Jindal's 2007 gubernatorial campaign.

The agreement means that the governor will not be called to a July 10 public hearing on the charges and the board needs no further action on the matter.

Wrong. Republican lie. No matter how many times you repeat it, it is still a lie.

Bush specifically noted on his TANG application that he wanted stateside assignments only.

Heheheheh. We'll know a lot more when the trial regarding Rather's civil suit is over.

What is done in the darkness will eventually come to light. Sadly, it wont happen until the damage done by bushco and their merry band of enablers is complete.

Jindal might well PERSONALLY accept the theory of evolution.
As a Catholic, Jindal is free to believe in BOTH Creationism and Evolution, at the same time.
They are NOT mutually exclusive.
What Jindal has done is promote academic freedom, making clear that his state will not censor politically incorrect questions and theories.

Libs
Dan Rather's BS was PROVEN wrong.
Just because you want it to be true, does not make it true.
By the way, Rather recently called Obama "Osama" --- it was pretty funny.

George W. Bush volunteered for duty in Vietnam. The model of airplane W. flew was considered obsolete, for Vietnam duty, at that time, and the government did not want to spend the money to retrain him in another aircraft.

GMC70,

A couple of friends (also female) and I were discussing the fall of politics and other interesting topics last night. (That three-way phone conversation option is great!) One is in southern IL, one in Waco, TX, and me in Red State Kansas. At the same time, we all said that what sells is SENSATIONALISM. We've become a nation of sound bytes, much like the tabloids use. Nobody reads the articles, just the headlines. I admit that I'll continue on to read an article if the headline grabs me, although not necessarily a sensationalized story, just one that piques my interest. It's the same as grabbing a book reader with the first sentence or paragraph.

<i>That’s why, I think, Bush’s drinking past didn’t hurt him.</i>

It's not his drinking past, but how he handles his drinking or non-drinking present. Anyone with half a brain has to notice the difference between the George W. who ran for governor of Texas and the George W. living in the WH today. If not, please check out this link. It's so obvious, it's sad.

As for Dan Rather's "forgery", the WH never denied the accuracy of the content, only the FONT that was used. Get real.

“Judgement comes from experience…”

Funny that McCain is saying that. He's been in office 30 years, and Obama, in just a few years has taken control of OPEC and the oil companies in order to dictate prices. Well, that's what McCain claims he has done. If Obama can dominate the largest traded commodity in the world and McCain couldn't do anything in 30 years then we'll have to vote for Obama's competence and effectiveness.

"GMC70" --

(The Big) Dick Cheney has all sorts of experience. Where's that got us?

You claim, <i>"Judgement comes from experience..."</i>, but you know better. Judgment comes from wisdom and intelligence and vision.

McC*nt's "judgment" is based on his ability to get shot out of the sky and live to tell about it. McBush's "judgment" includes "highly principled" opinions on every side of every issue that's come up. McSame is another kid who, by an accident of birth, found himself accepted to and just barely eking out a diploma from an elite institution of higher education. John Sidney McCain the Third (for Shrub's 3rd term) thinks Iraq borders Afghanistan, doesn't know the difference between Sunnis and Shi'ites, and admits he doesn't know squat about the economy (except from the advice he gets from his principal economic adviser who thinks $4-a-gallon gasoline is a figment of our imaginations).

McC*nt cites his crazy-cat-lady 98-year-old mother as proof he's not gonna die soon. But when his father was his age, John Sidney McCain Jr. had been dead for three years.

McC*nt’s “judgment” is based on his ability to get shot out of the sky and live to tell about it. McBush’s “judgment” includes “highly principled” opinions on every side of every issue that’s come up. McSame is another kid who, by an accident of birth, found himself accepted to and just barely eking out a diploma from an elite institution of higher education. John Sidney McCain the Third (for Shrub’s 3rd term) thinks Iraq borders Afghanistan, doesn’t know the difference between Sunnis and Shi’ites, and admits he doesn’t know squat about the economy (except from the advice he gets from his principal economic adviser who thinks $4-a-gallon gasoline is a figment of our imaginations).

McC*nt cites his crazy-cat-lady 98-year-old mother as proof he’s not gonna die soon. But when his father was his age, John Sidney McCain Jr. had been dead for three years.

I honestly and truly think the media -- ALL of them -- need to keep the cameras and microphones on McCain every minute of every day. If he isn't inside his own home a camera should be on him and a microphone at his mouth so nothing is missed. I think it's quite unfair that he is given a pass!

I would have liked to hear what he had to say after ONE person showed up at his town hall meeting. Another opportunity missed!

Wait, let me get this straight. The MSM spends 20+ years building McCain into the Straight Talk Express, and because McCain can't get a reporter to show up in New Hampshire for a week suddenly the MSM is biased?!?

How many times has McCain been on Meet the Press? I bet McCain's been on MtP at least 10 times more than Obama. Who turned McCain into the "maverick" Republic if not the MSM? Thanks to the MSM over the past 20 years, I doubt there's a sentient American voter today who doesn't know he's famous for being a "maverick."

Hell, the only reason the Republics nominated McCain is because he has <i>through at least 20 years of constant exposure in the MSM</i> accumulated rock solid credentials as a guy who will buck the party line (ie, compromise anything).

<b>The MSM made McCain into the only damn Republic who stands a snowball's chance of winning in November!</b>

And now, all of a sudden, based on a couple weeks' worth of stories, the MSM is biased <i>against</i> McCain?!?

The GOP ca2008: as kfg might say, it's now a party that insists you believe 10 lines of BS before breakfast.

"Maggot doesn’t it just frost you that someone could draw a different conclusion than you do on evolution or creationism? To each his own I say."

There's scientific conclusion based upon the evidence which proves the fact of evolution. Then there is assumption based upon wishful thinking and scientific ignorance, and that is creationism.

Being that this is farm country the knowledge of evolution is instrumental in explaining why farmers need different varieties of insecticide. Having a scientific ignoramus like Jindal in office can only bring harm to society.

"You must be living in an alternate history from the rest of the real world. The MSM is always in the tank for the democrat."

This from someone who uncritically links to Bozo Bozelle's website.

Point of reality, counselor. To the likes of Brent Bozelle, any media source that does not automatically take the viewpoint of coalition conservatives is by definition biased against them (because they are right).
