Jackson also used N-word

jacksonjesse.jpgIn addition to saying, in reference to Barack Obama, that he wanted “to cut his nuts out,” the Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word. Jackson complained that Obama was telling (N-word) “how to behave.” Jackson apologized again Wednesday for his “hurtful words” and said that “there really is no justification for my comments.” Particularly when Jackson has been calling on the entertainment industry to stop using the N-word.

His comments don’t surprise me at all. He is a man full of hate and resentment. He has a lot of prejudice and anger in him. And I hate to say it but the way the media isn’t covering this doesn’t surprise me either. If it was a white man who said those things, it would be a big news story and totally blown out of proportion. But because he’s black and because he’s Jesse Jackson, he can get away with these things. Just imagine how the news media would have responded if it were Imus or Phelps(who I can’t stand either). I don’t think it is right to talk like that about anybody, whatever color you are.

Wrong. I know whites who talk like that and the news does NOT cover them. Why? Because they are NOBODIES! Just like Jackson has become. BTW – Jackson’t comments HAVE been covered by the MSM.

Michelle Obama and the Jackson family are very tight.
Michelle Obama claims she “grew up” in the Jackson home.
I take this dispute with a grain of salt —

However, Barrack Obama AND Jesse Jackson are BOTH guilty of stepping over other Black people to get ahead.

Jesse Jackson lied about MLK “dying in his arms” Jesse was in the parking lot, at the time. Jackson made sure that he had MLK blood on him, however, so he could milk the event for personal gain.

Jackson told others, after the shooting, “don’t talk to the press” — so that Jackson could have a monopoly on the event.

Jackson was investigated by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference for stealing money from the charity. Jackson had his “rent a mob” pickets carry signs that said “don’t get messy with Jesse” and, basically, got away with theft through political arm twisting.

As for Obama? Obama used legal tactics to kick other Black candidates off the ballot, the first time Obama ran for office.

One of those candidates was one of Jackson’s “Rainbow Coalition” organizers.

Jackson and Obama are BOTH self-centered ego maniacs looking out for themselves.

  10. Posted July 17, 2008 at 4:19 pm | Permalink

So bth, who are those NOBODIES? You’re FRIENDS? Are you one of those NOBODIES too? (I hope not!) Why do you defend them? Of course, the MSM is not going to cover them. You may say Jesse Jackson is a NOBODY, but at least people know who he is. I don’t think we know you and your friends. Get over it, the MSM is most likely to talk about prejudice and hate crimes when it is white on black and hardly every black on white. They MSM promotes this kind of prejudice.

Sure Imus may be the exception but it was a big put on; otherwise, why would he have been hired to go back on the air again. If that would have happened to anyone else, they would not have a job on the air, more like “would you like fries with that?”

Typically the people who are most vocal about other groups being racist are the true racists themselves.

I once had a student in a college sociology class tell me and everyone else in the class that we “owed her” because she was black and we were white and our ancestors held her ancestors as slaves. My response? “i don’t owe you anything. Notwithstanding the fact that it’s been 200 years since blacks were held as slaves in this country, the only family I had in the US during the time of slavery were American Indians. And if you are going to try and tell me that they weren’t getting the shaft just as badly, I have some ocean-front property in South Wichita to sell you.” That shut her up fairly quickly.

I also once had a black man tell me that blacks couldn’t be racist. AFTER I finished laughing about that one, I pointed out to him that the definition of racism does not limit one ethnic group from being involved.

I was not “proven to be a liar” — I found several supporting links that Obama has a high level of Arab heritage.
One of those links was off of Oprah’s web page.
Besides, I had a reason for doing what I did.

Most normal people will find it a bit distateful to try and figure out a person’s racial identity, to the 16th or 32nd.

However, many liberals support the idea of “reparations” for slavery that happened 150 years ago. What about the Black folks, back then, who also owned slaves? What about the Black folks, back then, who worked as free men in the slave trade? As noted, what about the Native Americans? Do they pay taxes for this program? Or do they get benefits from this program? What about the Irish, who were forced into the Union Army at the point of a gun, as they got off the boats? (Watch “Gangs of New York” it is pretty accurate.) Those Irish were slaves. They had no choice but to join the Army or die. Many of them died to FREE the slaves.

Then, think this through, even if we decide to pay some kind of “reparations” how do we figure out who is “Black”??? What percentage will it take to qualify? Will the reward be on a sliding scale, based on “Blackness”? Will a recent African immigrant, who’s ancestors might have actually captured and sold other Black’s into slavery, still qualify for this money, just because that recent immigrant is Black?

How distateful will it be, for our National government, to have to deal with these issues.

Yet, this is just the “tip of the iceberg” if you want pay reparations for slavery.

“The Chicago headquarters of Jackson’s Operation PUSH was not far from where Obama lived in the mid-1980s. Obama would sometimes go to hear Jackson’s sermons but otherwise had little connection to him.

“I did not know him as a community organizer,” Jackson said. “It’s a big city.”

Obama’s 1992 marriage to Michelle Robinson brought the families much closer. A Chicago native, Robinson had gone to high school with Jackson’s oldest child, Santita. Santita sang at the Obamas’ wedding and became godmother to their daughter, Malia.

Michelle Obama had often visited Jackson’s home and gotten to know his other children. So when Obama began dating her, he met Jesse Jackson Jr., who also attended their wedding.

Nevertheless, the elder Jackson still creates the occasional complication for Obama.

In September, The State newspaper in South Carolina reported that Jackson had said Obama was “acting like he’s white” in his response to the arrest of six black juveniles in Jena, La. Jackson disputed the quote.

Obama’s campaign played down the incident and has had only good things to say about the relationship between the two men.”

This is a good link, for background on Jackson, the fraud, and MLK:

    http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=4079

I suggest you read the book “Shakedown” if you want to learn more about the con-artist Jesse Jackson, but here is a good interview with the author:

    http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=27032

    “Q: Was Rev. Abernathy lying?

A: No, Abernathy told the truth, and it is because of Abernathy that we know the truth.

Q: And what is the truth?

A: Jesse Jackson was not up on the balcony. They even tried to show the picture of Jesse Jackson up on the balcony with Martin Luther King. That picture was taken the day before. It was a publicity shot.

Q: As are most of the things that Jesse gets involved in.

A: That’s right. He goes there for the cameras, and you are going to hear that in this story. He was not up on the balcony with Martin Luther King. He was down in the parking lot talking to a bunch of musicians – Ben Branch and others. When the shots rang out, he fled and hid behind the swimming pool area and reappeared 20-30 minutes later when the television cameras arrived on the scene. That’s when Jesse Jackson told other Southern Christian Leadership Conference staffers, “Don’t you talk to the press whatever you do.”

    Q: That’s my job!

A: Yes, that’s my job. Nobody had given him that job. He took that job. Call it “entrepreneurial instinct” if you wish, but on the spot he realized that he had an opportunity to spin the events to create his own persona and create a possibility for him to become a leader in the black movement. He had no prospects at that point.

Q: We know there were pictures all over the place of Jesse with blood on his shirt. Given that Jesse was in the parking lot when Dr. King was shot, where did that come from?

A: The next morning, he flew to Chicago and went on the NBC “Today Show.” In the meantime, he had hired a public relations agent. So here is a guy who is in such grief from Martin Luther King’s assassination that he comes back to Chicago and has the presence of mind to have himself taken from interview to interview in a chauffeur-driven car with a P.R. agent. The P.R. agent takes him to the NBC “Today” show, he appears in a shirt that he claims is smeared with Dr. Martin Luther King’s blood and he says on national television, “He died in my arms” – an absolute, patent lie.

Q: What I don’t understand is why Abernathy and those who were there didn’t jump up and scream, “Slow down! That ain’t the way it went down.”

A: That’s a legitimate question, and I don’t have a clear answer for it. All I can tell you, from what I understood, is Abernathy was too much of a gentleman and did not want to confront …

Q: He paid a price for that.”

“Q: And Abernathy assumed, obviously incorrectly, that he was going to get a piece of the action anyway.

A: Abernathy did assume the mantle of Dr. Martin Luther King’s leadership. He became the new leader of the SCLC, but he didn’t have the charisma and he didn’t have the following that King did.

Q: I want you to explain to our readers how Jesse stuck it to Abernathy with that Black Expo scam.

A: Actually, that’s a really important story that I tell in “Shakedown.” People in Chicago who were around in the late ’60s and early ’70s know the story. I tell you, I sure didn’t.

Q: It was news to me, too, and this wasn’t a mere or simple bureaucratic oversight. There were some very specific Machiavellian legal things that had to be structured and implemented. Please explain the Black Expo scandal, and be sure to mention Angela Parker.

A: Angela Parker was a black reporter from the Chicago Tribune who discovered the rot in the state of Denmark, if you wish. Angela Parker did the research and discovered that Jesse Jackson was fiddling with the money from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference Operation Breadbasket. This was after Martin Luther King was shot.

Q: And he was creating corporate shields to isolate things, too.

A: That’s correct, and he did that with his half brother Noah Robinson, of whom I will say more. Angela Parker went down to Atlanta and presented all the evidence to Rev. Abernathy. Abernathy is floored – he just can’t believe it. He comes up to Chicago to the Marriott Hotel at the airport and hauls Jesse Jackson – invokes him – in front of the entire board of the SCLC. Jackson responds with his typical street-hustler reaction. He brings his gang-member friends, and they all come with these big picket signs to meet Rev. Ralph David Abernathy.

    Q: With the “Blackstone Rangers”?

A: Yes. And the picket signs read, “Don’t get messy with Jesse.” It was as if he was going to go meet a white lynch gang. He’s going to meet Abernathy, OK. Abernathy presents the evidence in front of him, eventually, and tells Jackson, basically, “You have been embezzling funds from the organization.”

Q: But he didn’t even fire him?

A: No. He suspended him for 60 days. Jackson slams the door and rages out, and within a week, he says, “If they’re going to suspend me, I’m going to leave.” Then he sets up his own organization called Operation PUSH. In the meantime – and this is extremely important because it shows what Jackson does when he is challenged, especially by people within the black community – he singles out at the next weekly meeting of his organization, in front of hundreds of people (some people say thousands of people), Angela Parker, who comes as a reporter to cover the event. He points his finger at her and says, “This woman has been destroying black leadership.” And, of course, she is black. She gets hooted and howled out of the meeting. When she goes back home, she has to have bodyguards because people are picketing her house. She has to change houses. Jackson really unleashed a movement of hate against this woman. And what she did was her job as a reporter.

Q: It is what Jackson does against any opponent. The first thing he does is call them a racist, but he couldn’t exactly call Angela a racist.

A: No. So he said this woman is trying to destroy black leadership. He sicked the dogs on her – there is really no other way of saying it. This is the kind of story I try to tell in “Shakedown.” I think it is so important to know that side of Jesse Jackson the liberal media doesn’t want you to hear.

Q: The other thing that is important is the almost symbiotic relationship he had with criminals – the street gangs.

A: They were criminals. In one of the interviews he did with me for the book, he claimed he was just trying to rehabilitate the street gang members.

Q: Wait a minute, in that Black Expo flap, his deal with the gangs was, “Don’t hassle us and I’ll give you a piece of the action.”

A: That’s right, and in fact, they came and shook him down. Jesse thought he was in bed with the street gangs and that they were willing to go along with him. They wanted a third cut! The funniest story was told to me by one of Jesse Jackson’s friends, Hermene Hartman. She said the treasurer, Cirilo McSween – this wonderful man from Panama, who had been a track star but is short in stature – had been stripped naked and taken out into the alleyway as the gangs were trying to get the money out of Jackson. Taking Cirilo McSween out in the alleyway and stripping him buck-naked is probably what made Jackson turn over the money. ”

SUBJECT: Fwd: The Truth About John Sidney McCain III

If you only forward one email this year, make it this one… America needs to know the truth about John Sidney McCain III and the disaster that awaits us if he becomes president.

DID YOU KNOW? John McCain came back from Vietnam and cheated on his disabled wife before leaving her and his three children and marrying a rich heiress 17 years his junior. McCain obtained a marriage license for his second marriage while he was still married to his first wife. (1)

DID YOU KNOW? The McCains own ten homes, valued at more than $13 million, including TWO swanky beachfront condos in California. The McCains failed to pay taxes on one of those beach homes for the past four years. (2)(3)

DID YOU KNOW? The McCains have been known to charge hundreds of thousands of dollars IN A SINGLE MONTH on their credit cards. (4)

DID YOU KNOW? John McCain’s chief economic adviser, rich Swiss Bank lobbyist Phil Gramm, recently told the Washington Times that the current economic crisis is a “mental recession” and said that America is a “nation of whiners.” (5)

DID YOU KNOW? Earlier this year John McCain said, “I don’t believe we’re headed into a recession, I believe the fundamentals of this economy are strong and I believe they will remain strong.” He also stated that, “The issue of economics is not something I’ve understood as well as I should.” (6)

DID YOU KNOW? John McCain regularly plays craps for “a few thousand dollars at a time.” He loves to gamble and is extremely superstitious. (7)(8)

DID YOU KNOW? John McCain recently called Social Security “an absolute disgrace.” McCain was a big supporter of President Bush’s unpopular plan to ditch Social Security and replace it with private accounts. (9)(10)

DID YOU KNOW? American taxpayers spend $340 million EVERY SINGLE DAY in Iraq. Yet John McCain thinks it would be okay to keep our brave troops there for up to “one hundred years.” (11)(12)

DID YOU KNOW? Disabled American Veterans give John McCain a 20% rating on his voting record for Veterans, the worst score among all 100 senators (tied with Mike Crapo and Larry Craig). The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America gave him a “D” rating. (13)(14)

DID YOU KNOW? John McCain says he wants to save the environment, but the League of Conservation Voters currently ranks him DEAD LAST among all 535 members of Congress, with a 0% rating. (15)

DID YOU KNOW? McCain has failed to vote on the last 19 environmental bills in the Senate, dating back to 2005. (16)

DID YOU KNOW? Every single day for the first four months of this year 1.6 million barrels of U.S. oil were exported to foreign countries – up 33% from last year – while our gas prices continue to go through the roof. The McCain/Bush solution is to give big oil companies even more opportunities to pollute our coastlines and despoil the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. (17)(18)

DID YOU KNOW? The Department of Energy estimates that if we start the McCain/Bush offshore drilling plan today, we could lower gas prices by 6 cents – but not until the year 2025. (19)

DID YOU KNOW? John McCain, like George W. Bush, supports using the form of torture known as waterboarding. (20)

DID YOU KNOW? John McCain will continue George W. Bush’s “rich get richer, poor get poorer” fiscal policies. If you make under $112,000 per year you will pay HIGHER taxes under John McCain than under Barack Obama. One quarter of McCain’s tax breaks go to people making more than $2.8 million per year. (21)

In recent times, the N-word has been used to describe a “type” of person, not just a person of color. It connotes a lazy, lying, shiftless person without morals.
In modern times, I think that the person who uses the N-word is one himself, without regard to color. Judge people on how they act, and what they say, not the color of their skin. This talk, and sleazy, low-life talk like it, indicates that the person who uses it comes from that ilk.
As for Phantom’s comments – yes, many of us did use tht term in the past. But this is 2008, and some of us have grown, and some have not.
Today Whoopi Goldberg (on the View) began to argue that it is OK for blacks to use the word, but not for whites. IMHO, she acts like a “N” when she says that.
