Hardly a must-see video for GOP

The mocking “I’m Voting Republican” video was designed to provoke by its British-born writer and director, and it certainly has, topping 2.5 million views in its two weeks on YouTube. Among the so-called testimonials: “I’m voting Republican because I think new drugs should be made available immediately, whether they’ve been properly tested or not. If the major pharmaceutical companies’ bottom lines are healthy, then I feel healthy, too.” “We need more minorities in prison.” “Because sometimes the Constitution is just one big inconvenient headache.”

On the Web site of the conservative newspaper Human Events, L. Brent Bozell III counted the video among liberal smears: “This video clearly isn’t meant to be factual, just vicious.”

I’m voting Democrat because I think the government knows best how to run the healthcare system.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe in punishing success with higher and higher taxes, even if it means American corporations going over seas.

I’m voting Democrat because, like Obama, I don’t mind high gas prices.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government needs more control over our lives.

I’m voting Democrat because I think everyone should wait for the police to protect them, rather than have them protect themselves.

I’m voting Democrat because I think it’s wrong to harm an animal or a criminal, but I don’t think children need to be protected… Especially babies.

I’m voting Democrat because I am so filled with hate of Republicans that I turn a blind eye to what those in the Democratic party are really up to.

Very true. I notice that the mainstream media Eagle never thought it was bad when such garbage was spread against Democrats. Only when their own ox gets gored do they whine like the spoiled babies they are.

I’m voting Democrat because it’s the same thing as voting Republican.

They are one in the same my friends. You better come together as one, or you will be divided and fall.

Both Foriegn Policies are the same, Both Economic and Monetary Policies are the same, Both are still going to spend more money than they have.

    The differences are just technicalities.

People vote Republican because they think if they SAY they are one, they get to live like one.

People vote Republican because they want to feel elevated even if they are not. It is the only country club where the price of admission is simply signing your name.

People vote Republican because they are either very mean or unbelievably stupid or in many cases, both.

CF2K is voting Republican because the Constitution, Habeus Corpus, and Magna Carta represent, like, such a “September 10th mindset.”

(Note: CF2K died a little inside to write, even in jest, that he was “voting Repubican.”)

    BlueJay,

Didn’t you once write “Send all the gold (individual’s earnings) to the government and let them dole it out.”? Or something similar?

Well, just so happens I am government trained. So please do send me your paychecks. I am sure I can dole them out.

Now that is stupidity in its finest form BlueJay. Trust the government to dole out what you earned.

Blue Jay is fully aware of what he is doing. He knows that what he preaches is Socialism. He does not believe in it, but he sure does get a rise out of us with his constant ideas of it.

America is a Republic. The fact that you would even spout such absurdities is garbage. There would be a revolt by sunrise if your ideas were allowed to happen.

    Collectivism is ugly.

Living in a republic should not mean that the rich prey off of the poor. And that is exactly what happens.
