I cannot imagine a household with more than one cat. Then the little conspirators would out-number me! Can't take that risk.

My current house mate has convinced me that cats are visitors from outer space, come here to analyze us in preparation for the ultimate invasion by the rest of the cats. Their goal: complete domination of the human race. And more anchovies.

Sometimes my fuzzy friend disappears for hours (once for a day and a half!) and cannot be found. (Officially, he never goes "outside," but I know better.) I'm pretty sure during those times he's not sleeping in some corner of a closet, or under an out-of-the-wat sofa, or on the guest room bed.... no, he's been beamed back up to the Mother Ship to report on me. On us, people! All of us!

Better get along with kitties, people. You've met your future masters and they tend to always land on their feet! Stock up on catnip-filled toys (and anchovies)! It may one day save the planet!

Cats - small dogs that shit in the house, ignore you unless they want something, have an amazing capacity for mischief and make you love them despite your impulse to strangle them occasionally.

I really enjoyed the video. It was a funny blend of cat lover and typical engineer. I too am a 3 cat household (this is one above my usual limit) each has it own unique and enjoyable personality. Although I don't think my cats are nearly as patient and tolerant as his were.

A very funny video... but I'd suggest not feeding tuna to cats, even "occasionally". Give tuna-flavored treats, or a little tuna water from the can instead.

Some plants are poisonous to cats. A list,
http://www.cfainc.org/articles/plants.html

And overweight cats suffer various health problems, so don't overfeed.

I loved it when they figured the aspect ratio of the cats - nice engineer humor. :)

It was a humorous piece and worthy of the recognition it has received.

I got a laugh out of his comments that with one cat, you are the guy with a cat. With two cats, well the cats are friends and good for each other. With three cats, you become the guy with a lot of cats. (Sort of a male crazy cat lady.)

And I used to have a cat that helped me make the bed. She could hear me start clear across the house and come 'running.

Thanks, Phillip! When I was reading the paper this morning I meant to watch this when I got to the computer. By the time I made the bed with two cat's help, scooped the litter boxes..., I FORGOT!
