Bill once again lets loose

clintonbillpointing.jpgA Vanity Fair piece on Bill Clinton, titled “The Comeback Id,” is making waves. The article suggests that the former president remains an ethical liability for his wife by associating with a loose crowd and continuing to chase women.
The piece reads like a hit job and relies on anonymous sources and gossip.
Still, Clinton responded self-indulgently this week with a rope-line rant at a campaign event, calling the writer (Todd Purdum, the husband of – get ready – former Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Myers!) “sleazy,” a “scumbag” and “slimy,” among other choice epithets. (He later apologized for using the language.)
You wonder: Are press secretaries finally deciding to get their revenge?
Anyway, Hillary Clinton might be ready for her husband’s portion of the campaign to end.

    I do wonder….

Why does this piece read like a “hit job” and rely on “anonymous sources and gossip” while ol’ Scott’s book is held in much higher regard by you Editors here?

Probably because the author was not in a position to have any inside information. That ‘other’ author was in such a position.

Could be because Scott McClellan was ACTUALLY the Press Secretary while this Todd Purdum is not speaking as a former press secretary.

Besides, I have yet to hear any of the Bush loyalists dispute the facts in McClellan’s book. I hear alot of name calling and see mud being thrown at him, but not one dispute about any of the facts.

    Why is that, Nathan?

    How quickly the press turns….

Once praising Bill Clinton as a God, now trashing both Bill & Hillary to make sure their boy Obama gets the nomination.

Why would anyone want either Clinton any where around the white house?
Maybe BJ is hoping for Hillary to be VP so he can have Obama capped? TIC

In today’s world of Jerry Springer journalism, the Eagle will reprint stories about scandals involving unnamed anomyous sources, but refuses to investigate documented allegations about criminal activity claims by government officials & judges. I posted the following comment (which will be censored) about the article in the Eagle about the city council proposing tax rebates for the Broadview Hotel. It just proves my point that Pam & Sherry are bigger skanks than the working girls that dance at Michelle’s Beach House:

Who is the current owner of the hotel??? Does the city own the hotel or is the city council using tax payer funds to increase the hotel’s resale value to enrich a corrupt poltical insider? A credible witness is willing to testify that he observed a select group of Sedgwick County judges that call themselves the Jesters party at the Broadview with prostitutes on a monthly basis.

No wonder the city council is runnng nervous. How can these scandals occur with so many Schlapps invovled in city & county government. At the risk of being cute, the current owners of the Broadview don’t even have to file a “Schlapp” lawsuit against the Eagle to learn my identity. The owners of the Broadview can pick up the phone & call me. Bill McKean kiakahahaha@yahoo.com 293-6079
