Just think of how much money it would SAVE the taxpayers if everyone quit smoking by not having to treat smoking related illness.

They didn’t add the fact that in Kansas alone over $900 million is spent on taking care of people who have smoking realted illness…only $200 million goes for Medicaid recipients.
It costs so much to take care of these people in the final days of their lives it’s crazy…and the death they suffer is long, tedious, and horrible.
I never met anyone dying from emphysemia who didn’t think the biggest mistake in their life was to start smoking. Young people are not in touch with their own mortality…and by the time a person becomes aware of the devastation cigarettes cause to their health, it’s often too late.

Taking a .357 Magnum and placing it against your head and pulling the trigger is not illegal either. And even if it was, well, so what? Doing that would actually be better than taking up smoking. It is much faster and less painful then laying in bed as cancer eats your organs little by little as you suffocate on your own vomit because you can’t breathe anymore.

If the percentage of people in Kansas who SMOKE cigarettes is going up, my guess would be that the average IQ in Kansas would be GOING down. They kind of run inversely to each other because nobody but a dumb ass would take up smoking cigarettes these days. But it would be a good thing for the country since few of them will live to collect Social Security, it will leave more for the 80% of us who are smart enough not to kill ourselves!
