Can we finally put the “national media loves Obama and hates Clinton” to rest now?

Fawning and drivel are too good to describe for this piece of non-insight.

And now we know who is driving this Rev Jeremiah Wright story – the Clintons.

Wasn’t John McCain kissing the butt of white preacher in New Orleans that had stated Hurricane Katrina was God’s punishment? And we all know John McCain kisses the butt of Pat Robertson who is well-known for some hate speech of his own.

I may not agree with Jeremiah Wright but alot of blacks see his point of view. If we allow the Pat Robertson’s of the world to spew their hate speech – then we should allow the Jeremiah Wright’s their right to free speech. Isn’t that what the freedom of speech is all about?

It’d be nice if Maureen Dowd would figure out who she loathes the most. And, why Republicans would ever be interested in that woman’s sex life has always been a mystery to me. Another sign their priorities are all mixed up, perhaps?

HOUSE PASSES OMNIBUS BUDGET BILL
The budget bill passed on a close vote, 64 to 60. It was passed by a bi-partisan group. The Senate will be working their version beginning about 4:30 p.m. Then, once theirs is passed, the conference committee on the omnibus budget begins its work to reconcile where the two are different.

Meanwhile the House and Senate will continue to consider conference reports and the coal power plant proposal and veto. The House recessed about 4:00 p.m., after passing the budget bill and will come back at 6:00 p.m., with caucuses at 5:30. Tonight they will be debating the newest coal plant bill and, probably, taking up the veto override.

You are, of course, referring to the rules regarding Michigan and Florida where all of the candidates agreed that the delegates would not be seated and the primaries would not count.

I don’t think it’s a matter of blaming JR. I think most people believe a parent is RESPONSIBLE for the care of their children. That would include working and gaining an education or technical skills to find employment with healthcare provided.

Yeah, right. Those four jobs parents are working just to pay the gas bill, sure they can squeeze in college on 7.50 per hour. Then while the parents are at work and the kids are home alone, they can go into state custody and you can pay for their healthcare there. In the meantime, the kid with diabetes can just die, right?

JR I have no doubt that Obama would support Hillary if she get it, his supporters may not but he would.
In a sense though that is a danger for both of them and in the end for the Democratic party. If Obama does get the nomination but losses the election. Hillary will not be able to escape being blamed by a number of people.

As much as you hate to keep hearing it, has it ever occurred to you that Kristol, O’Reilly, Rush and you have something in common? All of you seem to be supportive of the same Candidate! And in a sense it is even for the same reason, Hillary is a old style Politician. She can stand toe to toe, fighting instead of solving. It would be a win/win for them, if she is elected they have another Clinton in office to beat up and accuse. If Mc Cain wins it will be in part because he was running against Hillary Clinton whom quite a few see as the other side of the same coin from John.

Polls are never “fact.” Polls are driven to get the desired results, to promote the desired opinion or outcome, depending entirely on who’s doing the polling.

That’s the “facts.”

I did NOT say that every vote against Hillary or obama was because of race or sex.

But remember, there are significant numbers of people who have been, and will, vote for Obama or Clinton BECAUSE of race or sex. How is that any different?

Reading my mind for intent, counselor? I said it was a statement of fact. If the “fact” produces guilt, that was in the eye of beholder. Dont assign that intent to me. Ya know, I could have intended that folks get out and work HARDER for their candidate to overcome this. I could have intended that we just acknowledge the “fact” so we could start working on the problem.

Dont assume you know my intent. I’m still standing by that as a statement of fact.

As as to the poll about race influencing their vote, I’m assuming the affirmative respondents included these folks:

Yeah, one of the first classes there, I think, that was team taught. Wilda Smith and Rose Arnold later team taught a “Women in History” class. That may not be the right name, but there were other VERY successful team taught classes back then. Dont know about now.
