I do believe the point ksgrm was trying to make is that Obama took a position of NO in the debate both on the floor and in the conference committee.

He then did a weasel movement and voted “Present” to avoid future conflict on his position.

This would be like you or I going to a Poll place to vote, initial by our name that confirms out name and address that we indeed were present and identified, but we never stepped into the voting booth.

It’s a weasel action and says that Obama abuses the system to try to make himself look good.

Chas as you can see in comittee he clearly voted against it. The coward then didn’t have the courage of his convictions and voted ‘present’ in the senate.
