Not ready to make nice to Roy

williamsWatch a video produced by The Eagle Opinion staff that has fun with the animosity some KU fans still feel toward former Jayhawk coach Roy Williams. Here is a sample of the lyrics (sung to tune of the Dixie Chicks’ “Not Ready to Make Nice”):
I’m not ready to make nice
To that two-timing Williams
I’m still mad as hell
At that dirty Chapel-Hillian.

Hey! Great folk singing voice whoever that was!

Lyrics could be snapped up a bit, but hey, considering the subject matter Roy Williams, you did the best you could!

    Enjoyed it, thanks for sharing!

    More please. :)

The funny thing is though that I would not really be surprised if neither my Bruins nor the Jayhawks make it past tomorrow. But, if they both make it to Monday I will be at Players with a UCLA shirt on!

Ben, I agree with your thought about being able to see neither UCLA nor KU making it to the final game. Memphis and UNC are formidable opponents. While my heart leans to my alma mater, my head says they are the underdogs to UNC. FWIW, Memphis is extremely talented and athletic, and I believe UCLA will have its hands full there. I suspect both semi-final games may turn on foul trouble.

Earlier this week I found a channel I didn’t even know we had — CBS C. That evening I found the channel I watched the Kansas / Davidson game again, but this time with breathing included (much more relaxed!). I just finished watching both Kansas and UCLA practice in San Antonio on that same channel.

I’m trying to get in every second. I am a college basketball junkie and no matter who wins and who doesn’t it is all going to be over much too soon!

As far as Roy. Much too much attention has been paid to him, let’s concentrate on the great players.

Roderick Stewart, KU back-up guard fractured his knee cap in today’s practice.

So now both Memphis and KU have back up guards out for two different reasons.

We get to watch them play one more time! Rock Chalk Jayhawk! That’s always the hardest part for me – knowing this team will never play together again.

    Sorry, Ben.
