Filmmaker Michael Moore endorsed Barack Obama last week, linking what he sees as Hillary Clinton’s failure to the moment she “voted to start this bloody war†and decrying her reference to Louis Farrakhan in the Pennsylvania debate. “How sad for a country that wanted to see the first woman elected to the White House. That day will come — but it won’t be you,†Moore told Clinton, writing on the Huffington Post blog. “We’ll have to wait for the current Democratic governor of Kansas to run in 2016 (you read it here first!).â€
When asked by The Eagle editorial board about Moore’s prediction, Sebelius joked, “With friends like that. . . .â€

Pretty good comment … in 2016, Kathleen Sebelius will be about age 70 years old, just short of John McCain’s current age.
Oh…gawd, we’re lost.
Moore is just another POS trying to be somebody. Like Ben Stein, he does nothing but present opinions that show his beliefs in a good light, regardless of whether the opinions resemble truth in any way. Hey, reminds me of regular. And I would refuse the endorsement of any of em.
I have a more likely opinion/wild-ass guess. Obama picks Sebelius as VP candidate. That way voting Republican in the fall will mean you are a racist and sexist bigot.

. . . and Republicans don’t vote that way now:-)
Yes it is true.
Michael Moore has fallen.
He got money and power and has now lost his soul and forgotten where he came from.
The cons have an applicable name for him.
Limousine liberal.
Kathy’s ONLY accomplished moment was denying the Holcomb coal plant. Outside that she is a “Democrat” that managed to get elected in a state long lost to the cons.
Such endorsements only further serve to distance folks from Obama. I can still see him and Mike in the distance. But they are getting smaller and smaller.
OMG, sebelius better see if she can help nancy boyda avoid humiliation at the hands of Lynn Jenkins.
Then she can worry about the white house.
Unless… oh no… say it isnt so….
She’ll forget the kansas dems when she’s movin’ on up. And they’ll go back to the cellar.
Devotion to party my hind foot.
There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that the Governor will help Cong. Boyda in her bid for re-election, but I also have significant doubts that Jenkins can beat Ryun. Regardless who becomes the nest president, we will need Boyda back in Congress next year in order to continue to help move this country forward.
So… you think ryun will beat jenkins and then boyda will beat ryun again?
hehehehehehhehehehehheheheheheheheheeheheheh…..
Wanna make a bet Kelly?
If boyda is re-elected, I’ll donate to the KDP.
If boyda loses, you donate to Kansas Equality Coalition.
Deal?
KFG - We’ll have to be a bit more specific about the bet, but I’ll accept. If Boyda beats Ryun? After all, I already belong to KEC. I have also belonged - not continuously - but I believe I still am a member of the Kansas Democratic Party LGBT caucus. Are you?
No Kelly, I have NO association with the KDP. I’m glad to know you belong to KEC, so your donation wont be as heinous to you as mine would be to me.
How about fifty bucks? I’m betting boyda will not be re-elected in November. I’d be willing to also bet that Jenkins will beat ryun, but I was proposing the bet on boyda first.
So… if boyda is re-elected, I’ll donate fifty to KDP. If boyda is NOT re-elected, you donate fifty to KEC.
Deal?
Deal, KFG. Donating to KEC won’t be heinous to me at all. Tom Witt - who used to be a Republican but is a Democrat now - is a personal friend of mine, and KEC has done a great job this legislative session so far.
I will be content if you donate to the KDP LGBT Caucus. I don’t want to make it tooo hard for you. And at least you didn’t propose the bet as whether Boyda would beat Jenkins. . . . so thank you for that!
Have a good afternoon planting. I’m headed out for flowers and seed right now.
Kelly, just to make it clear…
I have no more respect for the lgbt caucus than I do for the party at large. Lackys who just do what the party elders tell them. They have YET to stand up to their own party regarding lgbt issues. Their strong point seems to be “please sir, may I have another”. So yeah, it makes no difference WHICH arm of the KDP I dontate to. They are all vile.
And… if the race is boyda v Jenkins, I’m betting on Jenkins. MY bet is that boyda will NOT be re-elected. No matter the opponent. I hope that was your understanding as well.
Let me know if that is your understanding of the bet.
But I do agree with your assessment of Tom Witt and KEC. They are GREAT!
By the way, KFG, I just joined KEC on Friday, though I have know Tom Witt for several years beginning with the anti-Marriage Amendment campaign. I have no excuse for not having joined sooner. I bought and planted a clematis vine since last being logged in, and some grass seed, but I’ll probably put down the grass seen later this eveing when the wind drops a bit - hopefully.
Just a quick comment.
I also have a very high opinion of Tom Witt.
My personal opinion.
Jenkins beats Boyda but Boyda still beats Ryun (because the anti-Christian right backlash that unseated Ryun will still be there this fall).
The question is, however, does Jenkins beat Ryun in the primary?
I don’t know much about NE Kansas politics, but 2006 was a “change” election as far as the electorate was concerned. Much more so than in 2004, when Ryun beat Boyda. But 2008 is going to be twice the “change” election that 2006 was. Therefore, I don’t think the electorate will want to go back to Ryun, if he beats Jenkins. Down here in Wichita, the religious right-wing is still powerful. They can still win contested Republican primaries with moderate Republicans. If that is the way it is up there, then Ryun still has enough conservative support to prevail.
She is doing a good job in Kansas and would be a good choice for VP.

70 for a woman is not that old. They live longer.
