On a recent flight I observed in amazement how the screener poked an obese guy’s belly in 2 or 3 places (like the screen was asking “is this real fat?”), wanded over the guys arms, and then poked his belly again in 2 or 3 places.

I was in a customs line in Dallas, and picked the shortest line. But there was a reason. The guy at the booth was the world’s slowest custom agent. You could tell he hated everyone and everything. Six people got through other lines while he processed one.

Just as my turn came, he said. “I’m closing this line. You’ll have to go to the back of the next line.” At the same time, 300 people came thundering in from Mexico City.

“####sucker,” I said under my breath.

But he heard me, and pressed a button, and in no time, two stiff-faced gentlemen were escorting me to a special room.

At last, I stood before a youngish, spanish/english speaking agent.

“I here you think Agent Smith is a ####sucker,” he said.

“Uh, er, Uh,” I replied, wondering how big his index finger was.

“Well,” he said. “Agent Smith IS a ####sucker. Go on through.” I actually cleared customs faster that way.

True story. I swear.

how much pain did this gal go through when she had the rings put in her nipples? maybe she was at a drunken orgy and didn’t notice the pain while they were being put in. of course the airline was going overboard by making her remove them. But then, I have a cousin that they took a pipe cleaner from as a dangerous weapon. overkill is the word. or, like we use for police, authority complex.
