Where does one get such signs?

neufeldGov. Kathleen Sebelius “put up a sign that reads: ‘Kansas closed for business.’” — House Speaker Melvin Neufeld, R-Ingalls, on the governor’s veto of a bill allowing two coal-fired power plants
“You hang a sign up that says ‘Kansas: closed for business’ when you pass bills like this.” — Sen. Karin Brownlee, R-Olathe, on the toughest proposals to penalize businesses that hire illegal workers

The sign reads “Kansas, closed to coal plant polluters”, maybe that’s Neufields translation though.

Neufeld deliberately lied when he claimed that the plant would be nearly carbon-neutral. He continues to deliberately lie.

Ben, he and his cronies have made careers out of lies. And the folks who elect him believe those lies.

Russia and Pravda have nothing on western Kasnas. Behind the prairie curtain, not much information gets out, except from Big Ag, Big Pharma, etc.

    And the BIG ksgop…

These wingnuts sure didnt mind the “closed for business” sign that the hate amendment was. No gays wanted. Yep. THAT sends the right message to business and employees alike.

At least these republican operatives get their talking points and marching orders correct. Too bad they cant do right by their state AND their party at the same time.

Talk all ya want about obama and his crossover coalition. Until Kansas cleans out the statehouse and replaces these mossbacks with REAL legislators, nothing in this state will change.

Including the current nut job policies in place for water, ethanol, and coal.

    The reich-wing never saw a wage-slave they didn’t like.

Illegals can’t unionize. They can’t complain. They can’t file for grievances or bring a lawsuit. If they’re injured because of employer negligence, they can’t do a thing about it.

    They can’t even vote.

    Priceless . . .

    BTW, good post, KSfrmgrrl.

The “mossbacks” keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

Thanks captain. I’m still waiting on kay o’connor to post a list of all those companies that would come TO kansas after the hate amendment passed. Her words in response to my testimony about how the hate amendment sent the wrong message to businesses and workers considering a move to kansas.

Still waiting on that list of all those companies that would WELCOME such a hateful amendment.

The mossbacks will serve as long as the voters keep sending them to Topeka. We get the government we deserve.

I’m surprised Neufeld hasn’t balmed the Tanker decision on Holcomb.

It aint over yet Ben. He may still.

But really, I dont think the tanker decision even registers with him. Holcomb is his ONLY focus.

They did pass an ammendment to SB458 Penalizing UNIONS FOR REPRESENTING illegals. Employers can still hire them, but unions face stiff penalties to orginize them in Kansas.

    That should tell everyone something.
