kelly – a big key for the Democrats is to NOT let Nadir get anything more than a pittance this time around. The difference in New Hampshire and Florida (hanging chads notwithstanding) was Nadir. EITHER of those states would have swung 2000.

McCain will provide a stark contrast to either Clinton or Obama. But his greatest danger as a candidate is his ability to attract independent voters. This ability is traceable to his alleged honesty and candor. But when the general campaign is unleashed, I think the voters will receive a healthy dose of reality that McCain – just like Kev suggested – will only be “more of the same”. He will be President Bush and Dick Cheney all over again – but wrapped (again, as the RNC alwyas recommends) in the flag and McCain’s blood and tears as a POW.

If all they can do is just bash his proposals or use his middle name to try and rile up bigotry against the Muslims, they have a pretty weak case. BTW what is John McCain’s plan? More of the same. Sounds pretty “ordinary” to me.

I think that I’ve already answered my question: Bush received 62,040,000+ popular votes in 2004. Even though only perhaps half the states have weighed in so far in these primaries (excluding Mich and Flor), I don’t think Obama’s vote total so far is enough to be predictive.

Interesting though is that, in 2004, only 6% of registered Republicans voted for Kerry. Obama’s ability to attract Republican votes indeed could make a difference. Bush won 51% to 49% after all.

I have a couple questions: How many popular votes did George Bush receive in 2004? How many votes has Sen. Obama received already during the primaries and caucuses? How many states have not yet had primaries or caucuses? I’m wondering if the total number of votes Obama has already received might be predictive of his success in November?

Ku Klux Klan Endorses Obama

KENTUCKY – USA – Imperial Wizard, Ronald Edwards has stated that, “anything is better than Hillary Clinton.”

White Christian Supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan has endorsed Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States of America.

Speaking from his Kentucky office in Dawson Springs, the Imperial Wizard exclaimed that anything or anyone is better than having that “crazy ass bitch” as President.

This is the first time in Klan history that any member of the KKK has ever publicly supported an African American candidate for the presidency.

KKK lodges all over America have been gathering and holding rallies supporting the black presidential candidate.

I’m all for Obama to win the Dem nomination. He says he plans to appoint Republicans to his cabinet.

Outlander, don’t believe a word of it. It is a tactic to get the crossover votes Obama will need to keep Hillary from stealing the election at the convention.

If Obama wins tomorrow, or even if it is narrow, Hillary and Bill will HAVE to steal it using super-delegates. Hillary has already commented about challenging Texas. Just like Florida and Michigan (where Obama’s name wasn’t even on the ballot).

Obama is a smart rascal. He knows he needs those on the fence conservatives, who are mad about MCLame.
