Now that he’s the Democratic front runner, Barack Obama is attracting a lot more pointed media criticism. Here’s an interesting dissent on Obama by Newsweek columnist Robert Samuelson. The central premise: that Obama doesn’t represent real change. His agenda is “completely ordinary, highly partisan, not candid and mostly unresponsive to many pressing national problems.â€
Obama’s economic plan, Samuelson says, is “standard goodie-bag politics: something for everyone.†He goes on: “A favorite Obama line is that he will tell ‘the American people not just what they want to hear, but what we need to know.’ Well, he hasn’t so far.â€

The guy is CFR scum and has Zbigniew Brzezinski as a senior foreign advisor. He may sound safer than Madame Hitler, but know he is the same. We’ve let these wolves tend the flock. Heheheheh, I can hardly wait for the encore.
Yawn – let’s have a 4 month time out on the Presidential race – I’m getting brain rash. :D
IMO, Huckabee would be the most entertaining in the White House. Good sense of humor, excellent speaker and has the executive experience of a Governor.
Obama is a good speaker and…ummm…er…and Obama is a good speaker.
Huckabee plays a mean “four-string-tard-stick” too, maybe he can start a band with that blow hard saxophone player buddy of his.
Interesting pic.
Is he taking a dump or just thinking real hard?
No more pillows huh? Well THAT would be nice.
Ya know? BEFORE the Dems make this Republican apologist and sympathizer their nominee?
Some people can’t handle anyone with a positive attitude, it’s the defeatest attitude that frees those who always see the glass as half empty from taking resposibility for the future…..go to his web site to see his adgenda…he’s got it together as much and more than Hill…as far as McCain, if we want more of the Bush legacy…
Go Hillary this Tuesday. If she pulls out one or both big states, she can stay in till the convention. Then, boys and girls, we can watch a rare show in the modern age: a brokered convention, with the “superdelegates” holding the cards and being wined and dined, politiced and paid off.
It should be an interesting sight.
Oh, and BTW, re: Samualson’s column:
Of course. He’s a politician through and through. Raised in the cauldron of Chicago machine politics. You expected anything different?
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Obama has mastered the use of Platitudes.
And the sheep go BAA as they mindlessly follow…
Can we have another Obama bashing thread tomorrow?
We need to get our punches right up to the big election day.
And to Bill Clinton: PLEASE keep your mouth shut for just two more days. Can you do that Bill?
And the sheep go BAA as they mindlessly follow…
Just like the republicans have been doing for the past 7 years.
Electing a half eaten potato would be a change towards the direction than four more years of Busheconomics under McCain.
Add “victomology” to Nathan’s Authoritarian Personality Disorder.
Wow. Nathan’s whiny post was up for 1 minutes before the editors deleted it. That may be a new record.
For the record: we are here at the Editors’ pleasure, and they’re under no obligation to countenance express or implied threats of physical violence. To the contrary: should said violence ensure, I imagine one could make a case for their liability.
So, Nathan, don’t go whining about how your First Amendment rights are being violated. This isn’t a public space, any more than a mall is.
EDITORS:
Please delete Doug’s comments saying I am violent, that I am crazy, that I have threated someone, and that I want to kill people.
And Price rounds second and heads for third – will he be safe or out – here’s the throw!!!!!!!!!!!

“If you ever shot any of my dogs, you would disappear.
“Your car would disappear.
“No one would ever find you or know what happened to you.”
I dunno, “Nathan” –
That sounds threatening, pretty violent, and not just a little bit crazy.
That serves no purpose MonkeyHawk, other than to cause a flame war.
Perhaps the Editor will delete MonkeyHawk’s 1:32pm post.
A tactic of the Radical Left on this blog is to keep bringing up personal attacks over and over.
If it were my blog, it would cease immediately or there were be much fewer posters. :)
I’m all for Obama to win the Dem nomination. He says he plans to appoint Republicans to his cabinet.

“A tactic of the Radical Left on this blog is to keep bringing up personal attacks over and over.”
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, copying and pasting Price’s own words should get MonkeyHawk’s post deleted? This is the fault of the Radical Left?
Jeez, who wudda thunk it?
Yes WSClark, it’s called taunting.
Totally unnecessary.
“Yes WSClark, it’s called taunting.”
Yes, something that YOU would NEVER do, right?
Sure WSClark, I have done it in the past. But trying to put forth a cleaner, friendlier image.
Hang your hat on the tactics of the old ways if you wish, not me, I’m moving on.
No, “Regular” –
It’s not “taunting.”
It’s letting “Nathan’s” words speak for themselves.
“But trying to put forth a cleaner, friendlier image.”
Yeah, right. Like when you constantly attack Cosmos because he “is not a scientist?”
Like when you call me a “grease eating chimp?”
Etc.
Friendlier image?
Yeah, right.
(shrugs)
Off to a Doctor’s appointment that was canceled Friday. :)
AARRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!
Closest thing I would call a threat from the Price’s is Hank with a spatula. Sort of …
;)
I’ll argue with them tooth and nail but gotta call ‘em as I see ‘em.
We want Obama!
We want Obama!
We want Obama!
The above message has been an unpaid political announcement by the Conservatives for Obama Committee Supporters(COCS).
For the next two days, and only the next two days, we are broadcasting free of charge on democrats/lib blogs nationwide.
Anyone doing a websearch is sure to encounter a few of our posts – and therefore fall into the flock with the COCS.
Remember, only two more days to help shape the face of the democraps candidate. Be sure to vote, and vote often!
I’m all for Obama to win the Dem nomination. He says he plans to appoint Republicans to his cabinet.
Outlander, don’t believe a word of it. It is a tactic to get the crossover votes Obama will need to keep Hillary from stealing the election at the convention.
If Obama wins tomorrow, or even if it is narrow, Hillary and Bill will HAVE to steal it using super-delegates. Hillary has already commented about challenging Texas. Just like Florida and Michigan (where Obama’s name wasn’t even on the ballot).
Obama is a smart rascal. He knows he needs those on the fence conservatives, who are mad about MCLame.
American Way, I suppose it’s possible that someone here could just be making sure the Dems have everything they need to argue about amongst themselves.
If Obama is the nominee, I will be considering my options.
They do NOT include voting for that Republican loving panderer.
Why wouldn’t the Conservatives pick the Dem nominee?
Democrats don’t do anything for themselves.

Why wouldn’t the Conservatives pick the Dem nominee?
It’s obvious that conservatives weren’t allowed to pick the Republican nominee…McPain.

In what caliber?
Here’s a group for you Obama haters:

Confusion time for Democrats:
Ku Klux Klan Endorses Obama
KENTUCKY – USA – Imperial Wizard, Ronald Edwards has stated that, “anything is better than Hillary Clinton.”
White Christian Supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan has endorsed Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States of America.
Speaking from his Kentucky office in Dawson Springs, the Imperial Wizard exclaimed that anything or anyone is better than having that “crazy ass bitch” as President.
This is the first time in Klan history that any member of the KKK has ever publicly supported an African American candidate for the presidency.
KKK lodges all over America have been gathering and holding rallies supporting the black presidential candidate.

Max –
Did you note the headlines over on the right:
“Hillary Clinton Shapeshifts LIVE on TV”
“Scientists Prove Jesus Walked with Dinosaurs”
A couple of my favorites. I can’t wait for the story telling that Obama will appoint Batboy to be ambassador to Romania!!
I wish I could get paid to dream up this stuff. the only thing that is more amazing that someone right this checkout stand material is that millions buy it.
That is a very cute picture of Jesus holding a dinosaur!
That should be a poster and placed in every Christian school in the country.
May as well show the kiddies the truth about Jesus and evolution at the same time!

Now at least we all know where Max gets his educated opinions!
Max, I gotta hand it to you…you are quite the in..til…lec..tu..al.
Thanks Ben.
What GMC, it isn’t true?
You gotta look at Hillary in slow motion, then you will see her true reptillian shape:

What a laugh from the master of plaster.
WSClark,
JimmyMac often has to use ad hominems, because his opinions are not supported by facts. Or science. Or logic.
SNL’s “TV Funhouse – Obama Files”
http://www.eveningtalk.com/2008/03/03/snl-tv-funhouse-the-obama-files-cartoon/
I have a couple questions: How many popular votes did George Bush receive in 2004? How many votes has Sen. Obama received already during the primaries and caucuses? How many states have not yet had primaries or caucuses? I’m wondering if the total number of votes Obama has already received might be predictive of his success in November?
I think that I’ve already answered my question: Bush received 62,040,000+ popular votes in 2004. Even though only perhaps half the states have weighed in so far in these primaries (excluding Mich and Flor), I don’t think Obama’s vote total so far is enough to be predictive.
Interesting though is that, in 2004, only 6% of registered Republicans voted for Kerry. Obama’s ability to attract Republican votes indeed could make a difference. Bush won 51% to 49% after all.
If all they can do is just bash his proposals or use his middle name to try and rile up bigotry against the Muslims, they have a pretty weak case. BTW what is John McCain’s plan? More of the same. Sounds pretty “ordinary” to me.
McCain will provide a stark contrast to either Clinton or Obama. But his greatest danger as a candidate is his ability to attract independent voters. This ability is traceable to his alleged honesty and candor. But when the general campaign is unleashed, I think the voters will receive a healthy dose of reality that McCain – just like Kev suggested – will only be “more of the same”. He will be President Bush and Dick Cheney all over again – but wrapped (again, as the RNC alwyas recommends) in the flag and McCain’s blood and tears as a POW.
kelly – a big key for the Democrats is to NOT let Nadir get anything more than a pittance this time around. The difference in New Hampshire and Florida (hanging chads notwithstanding) was Nadir. EITHER of those states would have swung 2000.
Is Nader at his Nadir?
