“To the stars through dirty air”.
I wonder if attic ventiliation turbines could be made to generate electricity, seems mine is spinning like a top most of the time.
Cheryl seems confused as to what issue she submitted her comment on. I will just have to guess that she is for air polluting, water depleting coal plants. She is only clear on what she is against and the inclusion of her off topic comment here is inappropriate.
A more on topic submission?
“Well, we’re sending them the power and the water. I just wish we could send the pollution outta state too!”
why is the Eagle publishing comments from a convicted terrorist?? Cheryl Sullenger’s comments are out of line and innappropriate. Shame on you.
I agree with Suzannekarmin. Cheryl Sullenger did time in a Federal penitentiary for her role in a San Diego clinic bombing. She’s a convicted felon and a terrorist. Why does the Eagle keep giving her credibility?
WHY?
Like I said before, the one issue people will take any topic and switch it to Their topic, just like an Amway distributor.
“Richard Brown: “This really is the Sunflower State. Sunflower writes the laws and the legislature rubber stamps ’em.”
heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh…
At least the smoke shades me from the sun!
“They tell me you can raise real good crops with the extra carbon dioxide!”
That mercury should increase my test weights.
Shuuwee, these horses are puttin’ out more dangerous gas than that coal fire plant!
“I wish I had enough carbon credits left to run my tractor.”
Them smoke signals are from the indigenous power companies. They say somethin’ like “up yours, Guv”?
“Don’t know why,but nuthin seems to grow here anymore (cough, cough)”
“Sure is a shiny new plant them folks got there. Too bad the they’re still using the same kinda fuel they were when muh plow was built.”

So outlander knows a pair of horses that put out about 11 million tons of CO2 every year, plus huge amounts of sulfates, mercury, cadmium, lead, and other dangerous chemicals?
What are those two horses fed outlander? A mountain of coal?
And outlander,
I suggest that you stay well upwind of those two horses.
And you might want to avoid eating veggies, fish, etc, from downwind of them.
Cheryl Sullenger belongs back in federal prison for her acts against humanity.

Now Cosmos, I was gonna put a sense of humor in your Christmas stocking next year, but I’m thinking now that a lump of coal would be more appropriate!
outlander,
I’ve got a sense of humor, and I got your “joke”.
Maybe you didn’t get my “joke”, about what the horses are fed?
I just wanted to point out that your horses had a “problem” with their volume of gases, and toxicity.
Tom,
Part of Ms. Sullinger’s perticipation in the clinic bombing was to try to make their terrorist appear to be African-American, so as to make it appear to be a racial rather than a christian incident. Something about bearing false witness, as well as all those other commandments that got in her way?
Why would I be surprised that my contribution to the comment section does not appear in the list. Some of us are not opposed to the Holcomb project, but would like to see the plant in Lawrence closed as it pollutes more than the Holcomb projections. That must be why it’s the “editorial page”. I wonder if we will see a caption about the transportation center south of Kansas City that is estimated to contribute more CO 2 to the atmosphere than all three Holcomb plants combined.
I knew Cheryl Sullenger was low, but I didn’t think she would stoop so low, … to attempt shift the blame for her act of terrorism onto an African-American…what a scumbag!!
