Hillary Clinton complains that Barack Obama is all talk, but it is Obama’s campaign that has been “a lean and mean political machine that gets the job done,†while her campaign has been “more words than action,†New York Times columnist Frank Rich noted. The Obama campaign has outworked the Clinton team in nearly every state. Rich cited Kansas as one of several examples: “In Kansas, three paid Obama organizers had the field to themselves for three months; ultimately Obama staff members outnumbered Clinton staff members there 18 to 3.â€
Rich added later: “As for countering what she sees as the empty Obama brand of hope, she offers only a chilly void: Abandon hope all ye who enter here. This must be the first presidential candidate in history to devote so much energy to preaching against optimism, against inspiring language and — talk about bizarre — against democracy itself.â€

He is full of it. I donated to both Obama AND Clinton in the early days. Guess who contacted me personally to get involved with their campaign? It wasn’t Obama.
That’s right, they contacted ME.
I have a sneaking suspicion that our own Dem Chair Larry Gates had something to do with organizing the dems to work for Obama.
When I made the phone calls, Hillary led dramatically, with many undecideds. At the time, very few had committed to Obama.
What changed? I don’t know, but I know I sure wasn’t recruited or even called by his campaign. Now did they know I was working for Clinton? I have no idea why they would know.
But don’t try to say Clinton did no work in Kansas. She certainly did, and my first request to work for Hillary in Kansas came a long, long time ago. More than 3 months ago I can tell you that.
She will be Presidentess.
This is an odd election year, perhaps the old tried and true does not work as well as it did in the prior elections. You can not claim that Obama can out political Clinton, for all her warts she is a politician from the old school!
Hey Phillip Brownlee is in the tank too!
Who ya flacking for Phil? Is it Obama or McCain?
“In Kansas, three paid Obama organizers had the field to themselves for three months;”
Which proves that Obama wastes time in a state that means absolutlely nothing.
Unless you are a Republican.
Obama and his people. I continue to wonder just where there loyalties lay. Or…if they even know.
Gee – I thought the ‘liberal media’ would never say anything negative about Hillary. At least that is what some of our righties here were saying yesterday!
Michelle Obama called my 73 yr old mother. My mother and father caucused for Obama. If he can govern as well as he campaigns, who knows what he can do. Really, J R, I am not for him, but he has so outshown Hillary on the campaign trail, it is not even funny.
Phillip Brownlee first gets a whiff of blood, Hillary’s, and jumps full force into support of Obama. I wonder if it would have worked the other way around if Obama were going on the ropes…of course.
Anything but a conservative.
Obama is the biggest socialist to run for office in my lifetime and is all smoke and mirrors, just as someone said he’s the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz.
There is simply no way to pay for even fraction of the social programs he proposes. He is simply ‘buying’ votes with entitlement promises that he can’t fund. He is promising entitlement checks we are all going to be unable to cash but will break the bank in the process.

Don’t worry, BrainLock, when Obama sweeps into power backed by the vast majority of Americans, you too will benefit from his progressive policies.
We won’t screw you just because you oppose us, like Bush does.
‘Course, Bush screws you people that support him too and you people say, “thank you, sir, may I have another.”
“There is simply no way to pay for even fraction of the social programs he proposes.”
Oh, yes, there is.
Stop spending 2 billion dollars a week to bring national healthcare to Iraq.
Stop outrageous giveaways to huge multinationals like Halliburton.
Close down most of the 729 US military bases around the world (the ones that we know of) and shut the American Empire down once and for all.
Maybe according to surveys, Hillary is the least liked candidate, or do people think they have enough of Bill Clinton and all his baggage.

As spoken by Dr. Paul. Too bad Obama doesn’t say the same things.

Clinton, Obama ignore budget crisis, promise billions
By Kevin G. Hall and Margaret Talev | McClatchy Newspapers
“HOUSTON — Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama champion fiscal responsibility on the campaign trail, but both Democratic presidential hopefuls are promising massive new spending without providing details on how they’d pay for it.
The nation already will face unprecedented fiscal challenges as the baby-boom generation — about 76 million Americans born from 1946 to 1964 — reaches retirement age and begins straining the federal budget as never before.
The federal budget deficit is projected to exceed $400 billion next year. Deficits are paid for by borrowing. The gross federal debt, the sum of what our government owes, is in the neighborhood of $9 trillion.
That means there’s less room to borrow to deal with the growing budget pressure as boomers retire.
By 2017, Social Security is expected to begin paying more out in benefits to retirees than it collects from workers. And the number of Medicare recipients will grow from 44 million last year to 58 million over the next decade.
Increased spending on health and welfare programs for the boomers will start to crowd out other federal spending. That’s why the two Democrats’ mounting campaign promises raise concern among budget experts, who aren’t hearing much about where the money would come from.
Clinton has proposed new spending in excess of $200 billion, much of it annual. Obama has surpassed her, promising annual spending of at least $210 billion.”
Both Shillary and Obama the Magic Negro Wizard are lying political aspirants appealing to the dimwitted.
Heard Hillary say she would tax everyone with income over 250,000 to provide tax breaks for the poor.
Straight redistribution of wealth. Carbon copy of Robin Hood.
But it doesn’t do jack to:
1. Balance the budget (deficit spending)
2. Pay down the national debt
3. Improve healthcare for the poor
4. Fix “our broken economy” (her words, not mine)
5. Resolve long term financial position
In short, it is a great sales pitch which should result in votes. But it does nothing to make America “great” again.
Obama rocks.
OUCH!!
“Democratic Sen. Christopher Dodd of Connecticut plans to endorse former presidential rival Barack Obama.”
What I find ironic is that many Clinton supporters voted for her because they fill that she is a better politician, and will be able to withstand the general election and perservere. However, that logic makes no sense considering that she is losing, and quite handily, to someone that is supposed to be too inexperienced to last. This has been the longest most intense Primary ever, at least as far as I know, and the longer Obama is out there campaigning, the more support he gets. After watching his campaign, I think that he is going to garner support exponentially as the campaign goes on.
A Real Choice for Americans in 2008!

Bill certainly saw some action. Wonder why Hillary bothered to keep him around? Poor, poor Hillary – the Victim.

FLOWERS PUTTING CLINTON PHONE CONVERSATIONS UP FOR BID
Gennifer Flowers is putting the tapes of her recorded conversations with Bill Clinton during their 12-year affair on the auction block, Vegas Confidential learned Monday.
Max’s ’script on Viagra ran out again.
Phillip’s accolades towards Obama for his aggressive campaign does not explain Obama’s current edge over Hillary. Hillary has been just as aggressive albeit in different states. People just don’t like her plans for the presidency.
I think Phillip is confusing hard campaigning with action. The candidates with the most “action” would be the one that has done the most or in this case has the clearest plan for our country.
The question is: Can Hillary top the credulous support for Obama by purveying plans of action most people don’t want?
Sounds like a real winner come November no matter who the Dems select. :)
