Sebelius, Kansas part of Feb. 5 strategy for Obama?

obamasebeliusKansas may play a significant role in Barack Obama’s Feb. 5 primary strategy, according to an article in the Washington Post. Obama’s campaign believes that the six smaller state caucuses that day favor his grassroots organizing and ability to bring in independents and new voters. Minnesota, Colorado and Kansas are the “big three,” according to the piece.

The article reported that Obama’s team is actively seeking endorsements in those states and “may be close to securing the nod of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, sources close to the campaign said.” Sebelius’ spokeswoman Nicole Corcoran said Wednesday that there would be no endorsement of anyone until after Sebelius gives the Democratic response to President Bush’s State of the Union address on Monday — timing that was an “important requirement of the invitation,” Corcoran said.

She speaks for Bigots. Barack excepted the KKK Endorsment and Governor Sebelius supports this. They both use “Blood” money to further stifle our human rights. Vote for Huckabee. He is not a Bigot nor does he except “Bigot Blood Money”. Herb West III , Publisher/Journalist west.herb@yahoo.com P.S. Kerry belongs to the KKK. I told the Barack staff this and proved it.

Check out Obama’s church page for yourself. If he is as active in his church, as he likes to say he is, this concerned me. Here are some comments from ththeir web site but check it out yourself.
We are an African people, and remain “true to our native land,”
A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
I don’t care what your race is should his commitment be the USA?
Not one of their priorities or views express concern for the United States.

    Obama’s comments ARE inspiring:

“Obama gave a rousing speech at a rally Wednesday in which he urged voters to trust in hope and not fall weary to inaccurate claims being made about him.

“I’ve seen this country’s judgment clouded by fear — fear of terrorists, fear of immigrants, fear of folks who don’t look like us. Black fearing white, white fearing black. Our politicians are exploiting that fear for their own purposes. I know how hard it is to change those mindsets.”

“But what I also know is this: that nothing worthwhile in this country has ever happened except (when) somebody decided to hope…. There’s a moment in the life of every generation when that spirit of yes, we can, that hopeful spirit has to come through, when we cast aside the fear and the doubt and decide wer’e going to shoot for something better,” he said.”

    But his pastor said:

“The church’s leader, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is retiring in a month, but his sermons and frequent denunciations of “white America” along with his support of black separatist Louis Farrakhan have forced Obama to answer for his pastor.
Addressing his congregants last week, Wright was quoted saying that, as president, Bill Clinton had done for black people what he had done to Monica Lewinsky.

    And Obama commented:

“It’s a tricky thing, anybody’s relationship with their pastor,” Obama told Beliefnet.com, a multi-faith site dedicated to spiritual awakening.” Fox

Score on all this? I was o.k., until his “tricky” comment. Tricky could indicate deceitful and has negative connotations. But he could just mean he has to be careful in his relationship. Regardless, despite Obama’s public comments, I personally would not attend a church – if I disagreed with the beliefs of its leaders.

ksagnostic: that should be a bookmarked link for anyone seeking the truth, and not just slander.

HillarySupporter: Many of us have European ancestors. On various traditional occasions, we pay homage to our “roots”. That Obama finds his
roots in Africa is no different from my having a connection with a specific country in Europe that I can tell.

I served my country and am a good citizen and love the USA. My connection to my forefathers homeland doesn’t distract from this.

President Kennedy and family were always touting their relationship with the Catholic Church and Ireland.

I think Obama’s Pastor is more bully-pulpit than pulpit for God though.

Perhaps Obama attended the Church for fellowship and to bring his children up in a church environment.

You can do that at any church.

How many Irish churches remain “true to their native land”? You only see it as racist because it is a black church, but if it was a congregation of Polish people, or Irish people, you wouldn’t consider them racist. It shows that you are a bigot yourself!!

AmWay – If his pastor is retiring in a month, he probably doesn’t want to find another church, when he can just wait it out. And the tricky comment, I believe it was in deference to his pastor, who I’m sure he respects, if not for his tactfulness, at least for the position which he holds.

    ???????

First, I assume the “publisher” means ACCEPTED. Assuming that – please provide some backup for that Mr. West III.

And back this up: “P.S. Kerry belongs to the KKK”
