Candidates changing to become candidates of change

clintondebatelookingright.jpgThe presidential hopefuls fell over themselves this past weekend claiming that they were the candidates of “change.” Hillary Clinton argued that while Barack Obama and John Edwards talk a lot about change, she has a record of delivering it. The public doesn’t seem to be buying it, as Zogby and Gallup polls now put Obama ahead of Clinton in New Hampshire by 10 percentage points and 13 points, respectively. Meanwhile, GOP candidates, who mostly have argued for a continuation of the unpopular policies of the current administration, did 180-degree turns trying to recast themselves as agents of change.

Hillary is having a difficult time with this. However, her difficulties pale beside those of the Republics who are basically ’stay the course’ with their leader.

Except, of course, Romney who, according to his fellow Republics, changes his policies daily.

What is the point of singing the “change” blues?

CHANGE is nothing more than a campaign chant.

It means nothing coming from ANY of the candidates from EITHER party. Unless you go way down the possible candidates to find a Ron Paul – there will be no change.

It will be business as usual from any of the candidates.

Subsistute the word, “blues” whenever a candidate starts talking that crap.

    Everybody sings the blues
    sometime,
there’s no exception to the rules.

    I promise: BLUES!@!

Republicans Launch Effort to Rescue Clinton Candidacy

Sen. Clinton doesn’t need money, so the RNC announced a three-pronged strategy to help her:
    1) Packing Clinton campaign events with enthusiastic crowds of cheering Republicans, “wearing silly hats and hemp-based fashions to conceal their identity”
    2) Urging conservative independents to vote for Sen. Clinton on Tuesday, and providing grief counselors and paramedical care at poll exits for those who comply
    3) Luring former President Bill Clinton into campaigning for Sen. Obama instead, by offering him $10 million and a “hip posse of Hollywood A-listers”

    Dancing across the political spectrum,

OMGosh, Max is on to us Democratic supportors.

How could he know that our first act when we seize the White House again is the TAX MAX ACT.

Anyone with the name of “Max” will be taxed 110 percent of all income.

You’ll have to take out a loan to pay your taxes, Max, and you’ll never be able to pay the loan off because the more money you make, the more impossible to pay your taxes.

It’ll be like one of those black and white movies in the fifties. You’ll come home one day after a hard day at the office, and your kids will have red armbands and neckerchiefs. They will tell you that you’ve been reported for not following “party doctrine” and that your house and all your assets will be confiscated and given away to intravenous drug users.

Oh, I almost forgot . . . we confiscate your guns first. If you fight back, you get shot down like a common criminal and held up as an example to others.

Yup, the TAX MAX ACT. Making America a socialist paradise, that’s the Democratic Party’s “final solution.”

The only income tax “increase” any Democrat is talking about is to let Shrub’s give-away to individuals earning more than $250,000 die its natural death, as agreed to by Congress when it was passed post 9/11.

Somehow I suspect “george” is not in the $250,000-per-year bracket. Limbaugh, on the other hand, is. So’s Bill Orally. They’ll get you all riled up about *their* taxes going up.

Keep up the good fight, “george!” Keep paying higher taxes so Rush and the Reich Wing pundocracy can pay less!

Hillary cannot be the candidate of change. Bill and Hill are relics of a time gone by. When I saw them on stage with Madlynn Albright, I saw a bridge back to the last century. I am not interested in going back to the 1990s. It is time for a new future for America. It is time to pass the torch of leadership to a newer younger generation with new fresh ideas. A year from now our long national nightmare will be over as Bush leaves the stage (hopefully he trips and falls on his way off it). A new day in America will rise and the darkness upon our land shall cease. And with President Obama, it will truly be morning in America again.

Student of history and genealogy here Max.

    11th maybe 12th generation American.

    You?

See? If you go back and LEARN? You will find that early colonists were granted land.

Ok that doesn’t count. It wasn’t “America” yet.

    See the Oklahoma land rush.

See the grants to the railroads.

Oh but that was a long time ago.

See the GOVERNMENT pay to clean up the environmental mess that business makes.

But let’s us go back to those early Americans.

How long do you imagine they would have survived if they thought as you do? You know, only about yourself? They worked together.

SOME of my ancestors came here as land serfs there Max. Some rich guy in Europe was granted land and my ancestors came here to make money on it for them. Kinda like now? Except the settlers gradually demanded more and more self governance and less allegiance to who was paying the bills.

    See: American Revolution.

This nation invests its money more than the next 2 dozen nations combined in its military.

What is so wrong with it investing just a bit in its own people?

    Read before you react Max.

I said Bill Clinton was the best REPUBLICAN President of the 20 th century.

FDR was the greatest President of all. He SAVED America from what you so want to make it. A collection of desperate population clammering and fighting over crumbs dropped from the table of the super rich.

Howerver, we shouldn’t take care of illegals, fat people, moms poppin out babies for welfare, and we shouldn’t be housing petty drug offenders in prison. Drug dealers yea, but why do we have some drug users spending 25 years in prison for multiple drug offenses when you have someone that got only 15 years for vehiclar manslaughter while drunk driving. Non violent crimes should be treated minorly, unless its armed robbery, and those people shouldn’t be in prison rotting ther souls away with our tax money.

I just think we need to draw the line between people that need help, and people that need to help themselves.

That is the most far-fetched and practised crying from a woman as I have ever seen.

Hillary is playing you all for being stupid. And stupid is what you are if you believe for one moment that the taped recording showing her crying and talking about the issues facing America – is anything real.

    It’s all fake. Fake baked.

That is Hillary and Bill in a nutshell. Fake and baked.

And you idiots fall for that crap?

How stupid can you really be?

Can you libs please have someone take a digital photo of your faces?

Not the entire face. We don’t want anyone to think we need to identify you.

    Just the foreheads.

I want to see how many of you really do have STUPID tattooed on your foreheads.

Come on! Post in support of Hillary’s video with tears.

    STUPID!!!! In big bold letters.

Senator Clinton proposed a baby bond for American infants.

Well the right jumped all over that. They are all for babies getting born. After they are born not so much.

The right SAYS they are “pro life”. Huh, why do they oppose health care for Americans? Only SOME Americans should live and be healthy? Those who can afford it? Gotta keep the mortuaries in business and the poor climbing over each other for survival to service the rich?

Ron Paul is the only change. All of the others are simply more of the same with a great smile and good hair. If you still believe in the pandering and baby kissing and the talents of lying while looking at you dead in the eyes, by all means, sleep well.
