Clinton, McCain leading among governors; McCain also gets Rambo vote

ramboGov. Kathleen Sebelius is waiting to declare a preference for president, but 24 other governors have found their man or woman. Hillary Clinton leads the Democrats with 10 gubernatorial endorsements, compared with Barack Obama’s five. On the GOP side, John McCain has lined up four governors and Mitt Romney three. The big fish playing hard to get include California’s Arnold Schwarzenegger and Florida’s Charlie Crist, both Republicans.

But McCain’s biggest endorsement of the week might be from aging action film star Sylvester Stallone, whose latest “Rambo” movie opens today. When told of the endorsement, McCain joked that Mike Huckabee’s celebrity endorser, Chuck Norris, had better look out. “Chuck, you can run, but you can’t hide,” McCain warned.

Well, if Rambo says McCain is the man, well then he’s a shoe-in for sure.

The beautiful people need to butt out of Politics, some people might actually believe them. Like I don’t believe the news media and that is bad. Go my man Mitt.

    Wrong
McCains “biggest endorsement” is from the New York Times —
That endorsement should finish him off, for good!

“Gov. Kathleen Sebelius is waiting to declare a preference for president”

    Oh PUL-EEEEEZE!

Hensley, Docking, and everyone around governor “leadership” has endorsed Obama, including sebelius’s minions among the kansas senate democrats.

    Wink wink. Nod nod.

Yeah, she’s soooooo neurtral. Does anyone REALLY think she’s gonna endorse someone other than obama?

If you do, I have some farmland for sale that I’d like to speak with you about. She may be abiding by the letter of her agreement with the DLC concerning non endorsement before the SOTU.

But she sure isnt abiding by the spirit of it. These are signals so obvious even the WE should be able to figure it out.

Why is it that these “actors”, who spend their entire lives playing make believe, feel qualified to tell others who to vote for? These overpaid ego maniacs are no more qualified to pick a leader than my dog is.

“Hi, Shirley McLain here, saying tweedle dee and vote for……”

    sheesh.

Good point PaulTheCon about the NYTimes/McCain. People still remember how they trumpeted the war that you and McCain support so fervently.

I read while Norris campaigns for Huck he hasn’t gave him any money. And while I hope that most people aren’t voting based on who celebs endorse they can be magnets for fundraising. And Reg I would be that more than one candidate has/or will meet with Jesse Ventura while campaigning in Minnesota

    Better place to post this.
Heard McCain talking about ‘raising the White flag of Surrender’ he’s an idiot, and doesn’t have a chance.

    Another nanny state left-coast hypo.

“It [2nd Amendment] has to be stopped, and someone really has to go on the line, a certain dauntless political figure, and say, ‘It’s ending, it’s over, all bets are off. It’s not 200 years ago, we don’t need this anymore, and the rest of the world doesn’t have it. Why should we?”Sylvester Stallone on Access Hollywood, June 8, 1998

This from a man who’s made a fortune depicting violence,

Republicans hate “Hollywood values”, unless someone with those values endorses a Republican.

I think I have McCain pegged. He suffers from Stockholm Syndrome, that’s why when bush got tough with him, MCCain later gave bush a big hug!
So, all Hillary has to do is put the bitch on him, and he’ll throw in the towell!

I would think that a “native son” to Kansas such as Obama would be endorsed by Kathleen Sebelius. Maybe she is close to the Clintons but even they should understand “hey this guys mom is a Kansas native and I have to go with him”.

McCain’s two sons are serving this country. As a pilot, John McCain proudly served. He undeniably loves the United States. He respects the rule of law and understands the complexities and dangers facing our nation. I, for one, will sleep a lot better at night knowing that President John McCain’s steady hand is at the helm.

Let’s give him a chance. He’s earned it.
