Clinton keeps losing his cool

clintonSounds as if Bill Clinton’s head may explode soon. Clinton keeps losing his temper, including at a TV news reporter who asked him about the Nevada teachers’ union attempt to block caucus sites at the casinos. Despite his “feel your pain” public persona, Clinton has long had a problem with his temper. But as the New York Times reported, “it has played an unusual role during the current campaign, his face turning red in public nearly every week, often making headlines as he defends his wife and injects himself, whether or not intentionally, into her race in sometimes distracting ways.”

Foul. Clinton lost his cool last week, and it wasn’t even that bad. There is no other example given except his face turns red. He was our prez for 8 years, you don’t know that happens to him?

Yeah he’s one of those who have flushing- and quite pronounced. Oh well. I don’t think that you can fake that.

The only passion Bill Clinton had was for women. Hillary didn’t keep him in control like she wants to do to us. If you don’t think Bill isn’t running for office again, you got it all wrong. No Hillary Care.

Bill Clinton said something the other day that really bothers me:

    “Our principal opponent…”

I don’t even remember what he said after that. I was too stunned by his intentional(?) characterization of Hillary’s campaign opponent as HIS opponent.

He’s already been president. He’s served both his Constitutionally permitted two terms. Just who do the Clintons and their supporters think is running?

Hillary lost Nevada. Fewer delegates means she lost! But all the Media pronounces her WINNER. Is there no hope for an honest media?

I heard the audio of this event. If that’s Clinton losing his cool then it’s the most calm outrage that I’ve ever heard. Once again the media is exaggerating just so they can focus on other things rather than the actual issues.

    Bill Clinton has a temper?

Compared to our current CiC, he’s a pussycat. Why do you think GWB only speaks to hand-picked audiences? For what other reason would he need opponents kept to “Free Speech Zones”?

Show me one person who hasn’t lost her/his temper when it comes to something s/he is passionate about. Even God has been reported to lose his temper.

He’s a disbarred former Attorney advocating validity of a frivolous lawsuit. Those Nevada Caucus sites along The Strip had already been agreed to by the Unions.

The Democratic Party pays for the Caucus. What was the lawsuit about? Because Obama got the Culinary Union endorsement. The executive staff endorsement when a lot of Culinary workers in the Union voted for Hillary on The Strip.

No penalty to file a lawsuit prior to election especially when the case is without merit?

Bill claimed voting suppression was happening by the Culinary Union without evidence, spreading rumors.

The red face shows he has no shame trying to get back into the White House.

GOP will attack former world policies of the Clinton’s. Isn’t Hillary claiming she was Co-President? They shot at Bin Laden and missed.

The GOP can be attacked how they failed to get Bin Laden, ruined Colin Powell’s career, long list of failures, McCain supported with his rubber stamp.

Clinton’s will be defending their past policies like Pardons and can’t go after GOP without repeating the Right Wing Conspiracy paranoia.

It’s not happened before, an attacking ex President hammering a candidate in his own party and he will benefit from having a job in the White House again.

    No Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton

How many people are aware that because of the programs that Bill Clinton implemented the children are being removed from their homes because of incentives and bonuses? Vote Hilary in and more children will be removed and adopted out by SRS and their contractors. After all it takes a village – and government control.

“”"Hillary lost Nevada. Fewer delegates means she lost! But all the Media pronounces her WINNER. Is there no hope for an honest media?”"”

Technically she won the vote in total but Nevada apportions delegates using a precinct level count and in one precinct they tied at 26 votes each to win 3 delegates so both were awarded two and then they played a card game (Blackjack I think) for the 3rd delegate and Obama won it.

It is easy to get tired and irritated when you are up on the road 20 hours a day for weeks on end. Bill is older than he was when he ran and maybe the gruel is getting to him. I think he is angered too by the fact that this new guy Obama pops up out of nowhere to dare challenge the Clintons like this. They never expected to have to actually work for the nomination. It was supposed to be Hillary’s for the taking.

    Mom,

Bill is making it Billary. Two on one against Obama. If your feeling like they do, anything should be said to win the nomination, don’t claim I’m sexist against Hillary.

I’m not attacking her, other than she hasn’t had management experience anymore than Obama.

Bill is fair game with his behaviour. We have a difference how to define his 90’s Presidency. Lying to Congress under Oath, I’m not going to forgive Bill for doing that.

Why aren’t you scared of repeating politicans?
Because of two Bush’s, trying to even the score with them? That’s political spite.

Bush’s want to dominate the Clinton’s.
George H. can handle spending time with Bill on charity drives. But Bill claimed George H. would tour with him after the election.

Their not that close of buddies. Bad feelings will return if Bill inserts himself into the White House again.

Hillary gets in, Jeb Bush in 2012. Jeb Bush could be V.P of John McCain or forced on the nominee like Dan Quayle was.

Having another Clinton, America could suffer under Jeb Bush! Elections for Congress in 2010 validate Clinton’s if “they” were the right choice.

I do fear the GOP gaining majority in the Senate and House again.

I don’t trust repeating politicians, when qualified people are equal choices. Some fear changing from the past.

    Mrage?

    You are wrong.

Know what I saw on cspan 2 this evening?

I saw Karl Rove speaking before the GOP national commitee.

Now Karl Rove had it as his principle goal to marginalize the Democratic party out of existence.

And you show me a candidate in Obama who wants to work WITH such people?

Yeah the dynasty thing is distasteful. I always said so. If it can be Edwards or Kucinich I am all for it.

But NOT Obama. There can be no working with a party that is STILL led by Karl Rove.

    Posted January 20, 2008 at 11:10 pm | Permalink

    JR,

You’re not right. Run from an attack dog or confront the mongrel on it’s level? That’s what Obama can do separating Republicans from Rove’ s influence.

Give them an out to create new policies instead of continuing what they did to support Bush and Cheney.

Rove will always be paid to give a speech, but his influence in Congress can be diminished. Some politician can always hire Rove to “vet” them for re-election. Republicans need another way to get more terms in office.

Counting on Rove is a loser position and more Republicans are starting to understand that.

    We have to move on.

Rove gained power because Bush created Devils out of the Clinton’s. Without Clinton’s in the White House, Rove will fade to writing books. Maybe he will get on Dancing with Stars to fix that problem.

Rove is incomplete personality and it’s showing up more often.

Obama is difference, maybe Republicans in Congress can reach across the aisle to work with him. Partisanship gridlock isn’t productive in Congress.

There is distinction between Conservatives and Republicans a lot of times. Shouldn’t a Democrat work productively with Republicans when it matters.

    Liberals have anger against Conservatives.

This election between Billary and Obama is Democrats separating from Liberals.

Moderates can meet in the middle to accomplish things in Congress.

I vote for my conscience and that serves me well enough.

I can’t vote for Bill again. I’m doing something about denying the dynasty! I’m arguing against them. I will argue forever against them if they regain the White House. Hillary wants a coming together..ain’t happening because of Bill.

You’re hoping for Edwards is delaying the inevitable. Your likely to vote for Billary and it helps the dynasty. I won’t call you a fool for doing that, its a foolish, short sighted decision.

You want payback soon against Republicans. Short sighted retribution that could only last one term until 2012.

Believe in the Jeb Bush curse! We’ll be cursed under a Bush again someday if Billary wins!

    Hillary is the past.

    Hillary is dirty.

    Hillary unites the Republicans.

Hillary probably can’t win (Without a 3rd Party splitting the vote, and I don’t see a conservative running as an Independent)

If Hillary does win, she can not lead. Hillary is not well liked, even by other Democrats.

Hillary voted for the Iraq War.
    (Obama was against the war.)

Hillary wants open borders, from her voting record.

Hillary takes campaign contributions from China.

Hillary wants to force people to buy their OWN health, private, insurance, with, perhaps, a government subsidy for the truly needy.

    Obama was “universal coverage,”

If you look at the Juvenile’s stated positions, on the issues, you have to ask what motivates his vote, don’t you?

I like Obama, personally, but disagree with him completely, on most issues.

I dislike Hillary intensely, but Hillary is closer to me, than Obama, on all the issues I just listed.

Well you are damned confusing there paulie.

You have said you want Senator Clinton as the nominee.

    That’s one hand.

And on the other you trash her.

    Hmm what to do….

I’ll caucus for my candidate Kucinich. Then I will look Obama supporters in the eye and dare them to tell me why I should work with a creep like paulthecon as Obama wants me to.

And that paulthecon is not troubled by Obama troubles me. Paul is a shill with his ear to the ground. If HE has no problem with Obama maybe he knows something I don’t

Maybe Obama is ANOTHER Republican lite as I fear.

Any case I cannot vote for Obama. If he is the nominee I vote Green.
