As annoying as automated phone calls are during a political season, they at least have a point. The latest anti-Paul Morrison “robocalls†tormenting Kansans are worse, because they are pointless: Morrison is out as attorney general as of Thursday, having self-destructed in a sex scandal just a year into the job. The person responsible for the calls and their outrageous claims, a Californian named Conrad Braun, has an old grudge against Morrison, who successfully prosecuted him for trespassing and making a criminal threat. Last year Braun vowed to “keep hitting Kansas†with calls until Morrison resigned. Mission accomplished (though for reasons unrelated to Braun’s claims). Meanwhile, Braun’s abuse reminds us it’s too bad the state’s Do Not Call list only applies to products and services.

Dude is psycho, he’s posted on here as well. Geez man, get a grip.
Sometimes the actions of people hurt their own case worse than they help.
I got one of those phone calls last week. Not sure it was from Braun, but it was complaining about some case and how Morrison did blah blah.
We need Braun’s home phone # or email add., it would be only fair!
I have a new sign I want to carry around outside Tillers Clinic:
“Your Mommy didnt have an abortion…
… Maybe she should have!”
Guess whos its directed toward?
Last one I got was last week.
I got one at the office yesterday, received one at home Monday night.
Got my first one yesterday. On the recorder when I got home.
Amusing. Takes more than a phone call to ‘torment’ me, my dear Rhonda.
Hell, I wish I had enough money to do this to a couple Government employees myself.
Isn’t this that same ‘Bumble Bee” guy who posts his hate here from time to time?
I think so Ben. I and others posted a bit about him on an open thread somewhere.
What showed up on my caller ID from the calls I’ve received is:
Homeytel
(602) 516-1080
Really vile message! Glad it was me who answered rather than a visiting grandchild. The last one I received was Sunday (3 days ago).
Someone needs to publish the guys home phone # or email addy., so we could give him a little payback.
I have had a numbers of calls, the latest one yesterday. If this criminal thinks it OK to harrass people in Kansas then we need to find out who the his telemarking customers are and ask them if they support him using the same company to harrass people. We know the name of the company Homeytel
(602) 516-1080 now how do we find out who his customers are?
IF you want to and harass government employees i might suggest these douchebags.

I got one of these calls Monday night – it was our fifth one. The guy is sick, and we have little kids that used to answer the phone (until the psycho started calling). And like my spouse said – we didn’t really care about the whole Morrison thing until the calls started. The idiot phone calls are almost enough to make us actually support Morrison.
We need to file a class-action harassment lawsuit against this Braun moron.
Why do I suspect that the guy gets telephone numbers from the “Do Not Call” lists available to telemarketers and then adds them to his bank of numbers not on any such list to call as many numbers as he can, knowing that the annoying calls he makes are not proscribed by said lists. I’m all for freedom of expression and all those ideals, but calls like his are why all calls received at home are screened. It’s not so simple at the office, but I’m starting to think that voice mail will be answering all calls soon if this keeps up.
BTW, if the guy wants to make his case, let him try to contact the media, send mail, etc. so that each of us may decide if we want to read it or not. There is some inherent problem with the use of a service for which each of us (telephone service) by those who assume we will answer and listen to the stuff put out. Yes, put me into the group of people who believes that in the case of telephone service, the presumption ought to be “Do Not Call”, with an opt-in to receive calls, rather than the reverse. And, this applies to political, etc., calls too.
