Remember those pro-coal ads suggesting that the Sebelius administration’s coal-plant denial would please Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and the leaders of Iran and Russia? It turns out that Peabody Energy, which helped fund the ads, is part owner of a Venezuelan coal mine also co-owned by Chavez’s government.

That’s funny! Guess they should know what makes Chavez happy. Does he now have happy feet?
Man, talk about hypocrisy! Does Kansas really want to do business with a company that’s helping fill the coffers of a tyrant?
Peabody Energy and the Coal Industry in bed with Hugo Chavez – hysterical! Good thing that Kansans are smarter than the coal industry talking heads and their communist bed fellows.
So, the truth is that the Republics in the Kansas legislature want us tied to Venezuela. I don’t think Chavez can control the wind, no matter how much hot air he has.
