So we learned Monday from the NIE that Iran halted its nuclear program back in 2003.
Oops!
You mean Shrub and the Republics have been lying?! Misinformed?! Ready to start World War III on “faulty inteligence?!”
The Republic Party has no shame, which is why they had no problem trotting out National Security Adviser, Stephen Hadley, to float the ridiculous notion that the report wasn’t completed until Tuesday of last week and that President Bush only learned that Iran halted its nuclear program four years ago — the following day.
Shrub is holding a press conference Tuesday. This should be interesting…
Jerusalem is a holy city not only to the Jews and the Christians, but to the Muslims, too.
It’s hardly likely the Muslims would nuke their holy city.
It’s even less likely now that we know Iran hasn’t been developing nuclear weapons for four years.
Shrub’s been rattling sabers against Iran lately, based on nothing. Or based on lies.
“The only thing we have… is fear itself.”
MH, have a little faith. The Bush handlers will figure out some excuse to go to war with Iran.
Let no lie go untold.
I expect ol’d dick to come out and say if there’s a 1 in 100 chance that Iran may be developing nukes, we can’t risk it and must strike pre-emptively.
XXX and MH,
Indeed. As Juan Cole notes, the last thing Bushco can tolerate is an incipient Iran-China Gulf oil axis.
They’ll do everything they can to have their war with Iran, to force “regime change” and get their corporate pals the oil. It’s the new Great Game.

Well, I believe the attacks, name calling, and general disorder caused on the blogs directly reflects the mental attitude of the posters.
Obviously, liberals are suffering greater mental distress than republicans and are using the blogs to “lash out” at society and the world around them which they are unhappy with:
Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls.
http://www.gallup.com/poll/102943/Republicans-Report-Much-Better-Mental-Health-Than-Others.aspx
I’m told by professionals, it is good for liberals to have this release available.
My compliments to the editors for providing libs this relief.
I just thought I’d use this as a bitching post. Had an accident, and when I visited the local sheriff’s office to get the report so I could file a claim, they denied me access to the witness statements. I felt those were crucial in determining who was a fault, and I wanted to see them before turning all the information over to the insurance company.Of course, they went into cop apolexy when I said I didn’t believe the statements could be withheld under the open records act. I mean, I’ve always been given the statements before. What do others think?
Door King–
You pay their salary. They work for you.
You should get what you need so you can settle your claim.
AmWay–
Homeless people would rate their happiness highly too.
Just because one is oblivious to the problems that one creates doesn’t mean that one is saner . . .
Send then a request in writing. Witness statements are almost always part of the police accident report.
Hey Capn I didn’t say republicans were more sane. Just happier!!!
I dunno Door King, maybe the cops read about your ‘calling in a bomb threat’ at a wake and didn’t want the witnesses harassed.
Bed-sitter people lie back and lament
Another day, uselessly spent.
Right, AmWay.
CONs are happier. And so are people with lobotomies.
If you’re not outraged, you haven’t been paying attention.
AmWay – Alfred E Neuman is happy too. As for your “lashing out” comment you should go look at a mirror.
Most insane or evil people would deny til they die that they have a problem.
THAT’s the source of your little info there Amway.
Little rat george is having a press conference.
I wish I was there.
“bush? How does it feel to know you are likely the most hated man on the planet?” “I have a followup.”
Keep em coming libs, I’m rolling on the floor. What ME Worry???;-) Lashing out? PULL Leeease!
Oh boy, I just publish the facts. The information was collected by one of your most respected polling agencies.
The information was provided to the polling agency BY LIBERALS themselves.
Woe is me (sniffle, sniffle)!
SADBADDADHAD (snort, snort)
Lib dad is sad.Lib dad had a bad day. What a day lib dad had!
(this is a thoroughly HAPPY post.)
Little rat george is having a press conference.I wish I was there. JR
I’ll bet you do an awful lot of wishing. Too bad it will never come true.
You will sit and stew in your little Kansas town, always wishing you were there.
Open the drapes! Throw up the sash!
Take that grow light out of the basement and bring it upstairs. This time of year many people suffer from depression from a lack of sunlight.
J R we want you to be a happy poster.
Please JR. Let the sunshine in.
am way I give you 3 out of 5 stars on your insult to j.r., with a pot smoking reference, and seasonal affective disorder or (SAD).
j.r.? waiting for your rebuttel
It was not an “insult” it was a happy post! Encouraging another poster to face reality, change old negative behavior patterns, and promote his good health.
The reports of depression are only worthwhile – if someone uses them to DO something about it.
Have a holly jolly day!
After all is said and done, at the end. Its sounds as if Bush is not dis-swayed by the NIE. He spoke of history and the hypothetical if Iran suddenly gains a nuclear weapon. That the question will be raised about why he was distracted by this report and allowed them to have it. “NOT ON MY WATCH!”, Bush stated and left the stage.
American Way,
No brain, no headache.
Or, as John Stuart Mill says with reference to higher pleasures, which, with a bit of tweaking, map on to the difference between Republican complacency versus the Democratic desire for improvement:
“It is indisputable that the being whose capacities of enjoyment are low, has the greatest chance of having them fully satisfied; and a highly-endowed being will always feel than any happiness which he can look for, as the world is constituted, is imperfect. But he can learn to bear its imperfections, if they are at all bearable; and they will not make him envy the being who is indeed unconscious of the impefections, but only becaue he fells not at all the good which those imperfections qualify. It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied. And if the fool, or the pig, is of a different opinion, it is because they only know their own side of the question. The other party to the comparison knows both sides.”
“Utilitarianism,” Ch. II.
To which list CF2K can only add, “or the Republican.”
Hey Door King,
I have mixed thoughts about your question.
First of all I think you should have access to the witness reports.
On the other hand, I don’t see their revelance to your ability to file a claim.
File your claim. Tell the insurance to the best of your knowledge who was at fault. They don’t care until your PIP is used up, this is a no-fault state.
If you aren’t at fault then when your PIP is used up they will go after the other party.
Furthermore, I don’t think I’ve ever been in an accident that I didn’t know for sure who was at fault.
Tank care of business and quit whining.
Bush is pretty much saying he doesn’t care what the NIE report says, he still thinks Iran is dangerous. Or to paraphrase ” Don’t confuse me with facts, my minds already made up!”.
Dick just may have to start making daily visits to the CIA, and get things straightened out.
I dunno Door King, maybe the cops read about your ‘calling in a bomb threat’ at a wake and didn’t want the witnesses harassed.
Sorry Kansas, most cops can’t read. Nor can you apparently, as almost all you post is imaginary.

Maybe the cops are reading the ‘witness reports’ you can’t get access to right now. :)
The last accident I was in, I had to go down to city hall and pay for a copy of the police report, and it took almost 10 days I believe before they had it on record.
Looks like CF2K needs a little warm sunshine thrown his way too!
The problem is, you have no way of relating any of that to a particular person and certainly not to a political party. You can’t relate it to IQ (your fool), or anything else. You CAN use it to lable and make name-calling assumptions. But that sincerity is no guarantee for truth is it?People living in South Dakota are among the happiest people on earth. Does your cut and paste quote apply to all of them?

I got a copy of an accident report within 15 minutes after I requested it. Of course, I was patient and waited the proper amount of time I was advised it would take for the report to be filed.
There is always “group B”, that special group that Wolfowitz formed during the Ford Administration when the cold war was ending. They concluded that the soviets had developed a new way to track our Subs. But when it was pointed out that they had no basis or proof for their conclusion. Wolfowitz replied, “Just because there is no proof they have does not mean they have not!”. I am sure the same logic can be used in response to this NIE conclusion.

Hey AmWay!
The problem with CF2K’s obtuse reference to dead philosophers is that the survey of mental health vs political affiliation covered all ranges of education, wealth, and bothe genders.
Republicans accross the board were saner.
Conseratives ‘think’ about issues, liberals ‘feel’ about issues. Conservatives look at results and consequences of political actions.
Liberals just want to ‘feel’ good about their actions.

Happy fingers typing!
PS: Conservative/middle of the road posters: Please make the democrats work toward happiness. Post jokes, or happy thoughts along with your opinion.
Oh! I get it now American Way! Let’s see…
“Three Democrats died and were standing before St. Peter. Hetold them that before they could enter the Kingdom, they had to tell him what Easter was.
The first Democrat said, “Easter is a holiday where they have a big feast and we give thanks and eatturkey.”
St. Peter said, “Noooooo”.
The second Democrat said, “Easter is when we celebrate Jesus’ birth and exchange gifts.”
St. Peter again said, “Noooooo”.
The third Democrat said she knew what Easter is, and St. Peter said, “Okay, so, tell me.”
She says, “Easter is a Christian holiday that coincides with the Jewish festival of Passover. Jesuswas having a Passover feast with His disciples when he was betrayed by Judas, and the Romans arrested him. The Romans hung Him on the cross and eventually He died. Then they buried Him in a tomb behind a very large boulder…”
St. Peter relies, “Verrrrrry good!”
Well, instead of shutting up while he was ahead (typical Democrat), he continues,
“Now every year the Jews roll away the boulder and Jesus comes out.
If he sees his shadow, we have six more weeks of basketball.”
“It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied.” – John Stuart Mills
———-How about a human being, satisfied? CF, I bet old John was one of those brooding types who thought he was misunderstood by the rest of the world. Or that he knew something that those happy people didn’t know or understand. Life of the party.
I prefer people who are optimists. Optimist are not slave to events. Optimists realize that only they have control of how they perceive and react to life’s events. A person can choose to be happy or they can choose to be miserable.
I see no virtue in being miserable.
Conseratives ‘think’ about issues, liberals ‘feel’ about issues. Conservatives look at results and consequences of political actions.

You are right on target with your analysis Hank. Touchy feely kinda thing. Not concepts, or tangibles.
I only wish there was a way of posting it, without making anybody UNhappy.
Happy fingers!
AmWay,
Didn’t cut and paste: I typed it all myself!
As for the rest of what you wrote, well, one vapid pop culture reference demands another:
“Don’t worry, be happy!”
As for Hank’s canard that “Republicans were saner,” well, it MIGHT be true that Republicans are better at living in denial.
But given the real threats that we face, individually and collectively, the refusal to face such threats doesn’t exactly qualify Republicans as “sane,” much less as operating on the basis of “thinking” about issues.
The ad hominem attacks, though, DO tell us a lot about the Republican need for a hated enemy. You guys need a hug! (A manly, back-slapping, sexually insecure one, that is.)
Oh, and AmWay? Concepts aren’t tangibles. They’re like, opposites, and stuff.
Senator Kerry pretty much carries the Lib view on the War in Iraq.
Here’s a pic that says it all. :D
http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/images/blpic-kerrywhowants.htm
I agree with your concepts and tangibles CF!
A concept is, more unitary, more definite or a more complete type of notion (a tangible). But I haven’t found a concept which makes me feel good with a warm fuzzy yet.

American Way, I need to start talking more Liberal-like, you know what I mean, let’s see…
The flatulent way of pontificating by the Demagogues reminds me of Chomsky’s discernments on inner hostilities towards the absolutism of sparrow like ejactulism.
There can be little doubt that manic desires of speeches peppered with half-hearted innuendos correlate directly with feedbag politics.
It’s not a wonder that anyone with a modicum of sense can perceive enlightenment when they dwell in the darkness of impure religious alignment. Opportunistic money sopping theocratic ‘money changers’ roaming the halls of sacred cows while greasing the palms of co-conspirators.
We as free-thinkers must loosen our mind with altering substances throttling our advanced cerebrums into a new level of awareness.
Not only can we string words together into complete sentence that make absolutely no sense, we can talk about a topic without actually having to refer to it once.
This is because we have the Liberal ’straw’ of self-succulence. We feed upon ourselves and each other for combined strengths, harmonizing our unified goals into a portrait of mutual admiration.
Further, those who disagree with us cannot fathom their circumstance because they stand deep into the holes they dug for themselves and eaten their ideological shovels, thusly, no escape.
Let me add that conversely that what I wrote here cannot be confirmed and any attempts to state so will otherwise be a misquote or inadequately interpreted by the flip-flopping Neanderthals of nepotism.
Okay, that is my Lib-like post for the day. Hopefully no one took the time to read it or try to make sense of it, because it was meant to just to fill up space ascribing my own self-importance. :D :D :D
:D :D P: :D :D
Kansas
That’s deep maaan!
Ever wonder why Hillary’s so anti-gun? I mean beyond just being a Marxist.http://www.poe.com/?page_id=1301Alinsky was no pacifist. In Rules for Radicals, he wrote, “The power of a gun may be used to enforce slavery, or to achieve freedom”. He rejected violence for practical reasons, not moral ones.
The problem with America, Alinsky wrote, was that rightwingers had more firepower than leftists. This made violent revolution impractical. “`Power comes out of the barrel of a gun!’ is an absurd rallying cry when the other side has all the guns,” Alinsky admonished his readers.
In Rules for Radicals, Alinsky noted approvingly that Lenin renounced violence upon returning to Russia from exile in April 1917. The Tsar had abdicated, but Social Democrats now controlled the government. Lenin’s Bolsheviks were outnumbered and outgunned.
Alinsky explained, “The essence of Lenin’s speeches during this period was `They have the guns and therefore we are for peace and for reformation through the ballot. When we have the guns then it will be through the bullet’ And it was.”
Lenin did not have to wait long. He siezed power in an armed coup in October 1917.
As long as the right has more guns, the left should oppose guns, Alinsky concluded. Only when the balance of power shifts, and “appropriate weapons” became “available” to the left, should leftists consider turning to violence.
Kansas is that you? Or have you been invaded by the Liberal Body Snatchers?

Clinton made an elementary error on ObamaIt’s one thing in politics to cite an opponent’s record when criticizing him.
But it’s quite another to cite his Permanent Record—the legendary, indelible and largely mythical account of all that we do as schoolchildren.
Yet that’s just what the campaign of Democratic presidential contender Sen. Hillary Clinton did Sunday, issuing a spitball of a news release that alluded scornfully to an essay that primary opponent Sen. Barack Obama wrote when he was in kindergarten.
Referring to an old Associated Press story that quoted Obama’s former teacher, the release informed us that, “In kindergarten, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled ‘I Want to Become President.’”
The news release also noted that the Los Angeles Times has reported that Obama’s third 3rd-grade teacher recalls him writing “I Want To Be a President” in response to an assignment asking students to write an essay titled “My dream: What I want to be in the future.”
I called the Obama campaign’s Chicago headquarters on Monday: “I’m checking into rumors that your candidate used to write his R’s backwards,” I said. “Will you confirm or deny?”
Spokesman Ben LaBolt refused to go anywhere near the penmanship issue.
“All I’ll say is that we’re preparing for the charge that Obama flip-flopped when he decided in second 2nd grade that he wanted to be an astronaut,” LaBolt said.
Is there paste-eating in Obama’s past? Pigtail-pulling? The chewing of gum in school when he didn’t bring enough for everyone?

Dishonesty dogs Clinton race
By Star Parker | Tuesday, December 4, 2007 | http://www.bostonherald.com |
The honesty and transparency themes are driving much of voter sentiment in this election. It helps explain the surprising success of Republican Mike Huckabee. And we see similar dynamics with the Democrats.
Consider “The Economist /YouGov” poll out last week.
When Democratic voters were asked which phrases they would use to describe their candidates, results included the following:
&bull Honesty: Obama 54 percent, Clinton 35 percent.
&bull Moral: Obama 54 percent, Clinton 34 percent.
&bull Religious: Obama 29 percent, Clinton 19 percent.
&bull Says what he/she believes: Obama 60 percent, Clinton 39 percent.
Now just out is a poll by John Zogby showing Clinton losing in races against every Republican. Yet, Zogby shows Obama or Edwards winning these same races.
It’s more than perception. Dishonesty defines Clinton’s campaign.
Reality checks for the day:
http://www.factcheck.org/edwards_empty_threat.html
http://www.factcheck.org/clinton_vs_obama.html
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/huckabees_fiscal_record.html
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/the_not-quite_truth_about_nyc.html
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/gop_youtube_debate_flubs.html
And I see we’re having some more of the “Damn idiot liberals who should be shot should stop tearing things down and be nice/happy” Ann Coulter type troll nonsense.
The Clinton campaign issued a press release Sunday that included this:
In third grade, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled ‘I Want To Be a President.’ His third grade teacher: Fermina Katarina Sinaga “asked her class to write an essay titled ‘My dream: What I want to be in the future.’ Senator Obama wrote ‘I want to be a President,’ she said.” [The Los Angeles Times, 3/15/07]
In kindergarten, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled ‘I Want to Become President.’ “Iis Darmawan, 63, Senator Obama’s kindergarten teacher, remembers him as an exceptionally tall and curly haired child who quickly picked up the local language and had sharp math skills. He wrote an essay titled, ‘I Want To Become President,’ the teacher said.” [AP, 1/25/07 ]
Yes, you can believe your eyes. The Clinton people are citing a kindergarten essay by Obama as evidence against him in a presidential campaign. Good thing he was born before widespread pre-natal ultrasounds. Who knows how they might’ve used that against him?
http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/news/politics/blog/2007/12/the_clinton_pot_calls_the_obam.html
Dishonesty defines Clinton’s campaign. A few examples:
&bull Health Care: When the Census Bureau reported that 47 million Americans are without health insurance, she said: “When I began the fight for universal coverage almost 15 years ago, there were 37 million people uninsured. It was an outrage then and with 10 million more uninsured today, it is an even deeper outrage today.”
Who are these 47 million? N. Gregory Mankiw, Harvard professor and former head of President Bush’s Council of Economic Advisors, figured this out a few weeks ago for The New York Times [NYT].
About 10 million are not U.S. citizens. Another 18 million have annual household incomes over $50,000, half of whom have incomes over $75,000. About 25 percent of the uninsured have turned down health insurance offered by their employer. Many of the rest qualify for Medicaid and haven’t applied. The remaining universe of uninsured is a fraction of the 47 million.cw-2
&bull Social Security: Fox News reported in late October that Hillary “says that when her husband left office, Social Security was projected to be solvent until the year 2055.” But Fox found that when Bill Clinton left office the Social Security system was projected to remain solvent until 2037, not 2055.
But at the debate in Las Vegas, Hillary was at it again: “Six and a half years ago when George Bush came into office . . . the Social Security system was on a path to be solvent until 2055.”
&bull Iraq: In their book, “Her Way,” New York Times journalists Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr. wrote that when it was no longer politically attractive to support the war, Hillary claimed she thought she was voting for more diplomacy. But she voted against an amendment that would have required this very additional diplomacy.
Now her alter ego, hubby Bill said a few days ago that he “opposed Iraq from the beginning.”
When asked about this clear fabrication by her husband, Hillary responded, “There was nothing new in what he said.”
Layered upon the wholesale dishonesty that defines her presidential campaign is a projected arrogance that it doesn’t matter. That somehow this election is hers.
http://www.bostonherald.com/news/opinion/op_ed/view.bg?articleid=1048581&format=text
Here’s a press release the Clinton campaign issued Sunday:
Immediately after joining the Senate, Senator Obama started planning run for President.
. “Voters will judge whether living in a foreign country at the age of 10 prepares one to face the big, complex international challenges the next President will face,” Clinton said November 20 in Shenandoah, Iowa. “I think we need a President with more experience than that.”
http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/news/politics/blog/2007/12/the_clinton_pot_calls_the_obam.html
http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1690519,00.html
Funny, all these same claims apply to Hillary herself. Where is her “experience” in foreign affairs? Or anywhere ELSE for that matter. What public office has she held before?
Pot calling the kettle black?
“Fox News reported…”
There’s your problem.
Hey Kansas, by jokes I meant jokes which would be uplifting to liberals. Something to inspire them so they are not quite so depressed.

“‘Fox News reported…’
“There’s your problem.”
Particularly when relayed by Star Parker.
I see lot’s of links that are not to Fox listed in posts above.
The reactionaries are ruling the thread today, I see. Gainful employment doesn’t appear to be their strong suit.
Kansas… If yer buying 20 gallons of Pepto Bismol a week.. you got other problems!!! LOL
CF,
Isn’t it amazing how one supposedly disabled person has the strength, stamina and energy to post all day, every day, on every single blog topic? And just imagine the work that goes into making sure he stays current enough on all the topics to be able to have the final opinion on each and every one.
Wow. Gotta love that welfare state.
And now, it’s back to work for me.
Tom- I’m with you; he’s worse than an old woman over the back fence!
FOR ALL THOSE CHAVEZ PEOPLE, HE NOW STATES THAT REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME OF THE VOTE, HE WILL DO EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO MAKE THE COUNTRY SOCIALISTIC, WITH HIM AS PRESIDENT FOR LIFE.
THE GUY IS ANOTHER TINPOT DICTATOR, AND NOTHING MORE.
And as I said yesterday, Chavez and Hillary Clinton have much more in common than you want to admit.
So you should love Chavez.
Be happy!
The Silent No More organization is sponsoring a letter-writing campaign and urging women who have been emotionally scarred by abortion to make their views heard to American Psychological Association officials. The APA is preparing a review of the disastrous consequences of abortion upon mothers, such as depression, addiction, sexual aberration, and suicide.- – -
People who support Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton rulings legalizing abortion on demand must not know much about those rulings and their terrible impact on America. The more people know about these rulings handed down without legal foundation, the more they oppose them.Show your conservative and liberal acquaintances the Roe IQ Test. Fight ignorance.See test pagehttp://www.roeiqtest.com/ui/
So drive-by parkay, are you really Troy Newman?
Disregard last post. I let my annoyance get the best of me. Re my question to parkay:
1) I really don’t care.
2) It’s none of my business.
Global warming caused by divorce! Save the environment. Stay marrried, or live together!

Heckler, you lying POS.
Where did you string together that mass of non-truths, half truths, and complete lies?
A google search takes one to this sexless geek’s site http://www.poe.com/?page_id=1301 with a link to the FreeRepublic no less.
The complete quote of Alinsky’s, and I refer to my well-worn copy of “Rules for Radicals” I always keep within arm’s reach is this: “Militant mouthings? Spouting quotes from Mao, Castro, and and Che Guevara, which are as germane to our highly technological, computerized, cybernetic, nuclear-powered, mass media society as a stagecoach on a jet runway at Kennedy airport?” (page xxi of the Prologue)
He then goes on to point out that as much as we need to change the United States, “I can attack my government [politically], try to organize to change it. That’s more than I can do in Moscow, Peking, or Havana. . . . Let’s keep some perspective.”
He didn’t fear guns or the right-wing “because they had guns.” He was arguing against radical leftists of the time (like the Weathermen) who wanted to bomb the US into reform.
What a maroon. What a pair of maroons Heckler and this Poe guy are.
I don’t read you links parkay.
Unless and until you can stand and debate, I say you have no standing here. You’re just a noisemaker.
Like an obnoxious drunk at a party, occasionally you make a loud half coherent remark. But when someone tries to engage you, you wave them off and head for another drink.
That’s sad. It cheapens your cause. Bumper sticker “pro lifers” like you are why I switched sides in the debate.
HankRe DoorkING’S QUESTION==pip is strictly medical. Has nothing to do with liability or who is at fault in general (unless pip is exhausted). On police reports there is a little square with a code on it showing who the police think is at fault. That’s what insurance companies in our county look at. Order a copy of the police report and you still might not get the witness statements.Let the insurance company do the work if you have full coverage.
An insurance agent who has been around the block with people on this.
Dear Parkay,
I read all your links. I appreciate your passion and your compassion when it comes to the abortion issue.
Two people enter an abortion clinic. One leaves dead and one leaves mentally scarred for the rest of their life.
I also appreciate the fact that you are strong enough to resist the taunts of the people on the BLOG that are a little deficient when it comes to principle.
Hank
Dear Parkay,I read all your links.Hank
You are certainly not alone. Many people read Parkay and appreciate your comments on his posts.
Can’t say the same about JR/JM….
Hey Beck,
Your right. In my end of the business, all I work with is the PIP. It doesn’t make any difference to me who is at fault. Generally your insurance company will pay all medical and anything over the PIP they’ll go to the person’s insurance company if they’re at fault.
Any way I think that’s the way it works.
The point I was making to Door King was that it’s not necessary to know who is at fault to make a claim.
parkay won’t debate, Hank.
Parkay just posts screeds and runs away.
You are maybe made of more?
I DID ask you in person once. About abortion I mean.
YOU said “we have to change hearts.”
I don’t see that from you OR parkay.
I see.
Well I was at the “Summer of Mercy”
I have since switched sides.
Like I said, “pro lifers” are MOSTLY no more than bumper sticker idealists.
I also appreciate the fact that you are strong enough to resist the taunts of the people on the BLOG that are a little deficient when it comes to principle.
Parkay won’t debate his principles Hank. And you don’t step up to do it for him.
SO your “principles” remain….unknown.
Just like you want them to.
MERCY SAKES… Lots of repeats in that thread tonite… Wow!!
For those interested in such things — Might want to check this one out >>>>
The book, Darwin’s Gift to Science and Religion by Francisco Ayala, “offers a way to reconcile religion and science on the issue of evolution,” according to the starred review it received in Publishers Weekly. Additionally, John F. Haught, Distinguished Research Professor, Department of Theology, Georgetown University, has said: “Francisco Ayala’s scientific expertise, the clarity of his philosophically trained mind, his deep understanding of religion, and his gifts as a teacher – all of these qualities, along with his profound understanding of evolution, render his own writings a ‘gift to science and religion.’” You can read more about the book at: http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=11732#description.
