Brownback recommends running for president

Brownbackforprez In an interesting interview in the National Journal, Sam Brownback said running for president made him a better person and legislator, and even has him now recommending to colleagues that they run for president. He also says he hasn’t given running for governor much thought. Among his Senate goals: “to get a dialogue going between faith and science” and to engage Africa in an effort to deal with its humanitarian crises and counter the influences of Islamic extremism and the Chinese.

AWOL Sam running for another political office in Kansas. I can’t think of a better prescription for the future health of the Kansas Democratic party.

Gee Sam, you ran for president and got a whole 2%. Now you want to solve the African, Islamic and Chinese problems? Wow, Sam, you who never got more than 2%? Sure, use the US Senate to promote your religious right adgenda, too. Quit -and go away!

I have always voted for AWOL SAM in every election. I NEVER WILL again. He is not a represenative of the people, he looks out for his interests, while sending meaningless form letters to those who send him notes or make calls, ALL AT OUR EXPENSE.

    NEVER AGAIN!!!

Regarding China in Africa … I understand Chinese technicians are already in Africa big-time, drilling oil and searching for other natural resources.

And from Africa, it’s just a hop, skip and jump for the Chinese to Iraq and the Middle East if our political leaders continue to stumble there.

I thought the state elected him to represent the people’s interests in the Senate. So he spends our time on a fishing expedition? This jackass needs to be fired, and soon! No employer (and we, the people are his employer) should have to put up with such nonsense.

Don’t you hate it when Senators miss roll call votes?

Take Obama for instance, he has missed 74 out of 93 roll-call votes since the end of the August congressional recess.

    Oh, look, holier-than-thou Kansas skipped church . . .

    Yes Capn, they canceled services.

But thanks for thinking about me, I know your concerned with my whereabouts.

None more privileged than I to have a 24/7 stalker like the Capn.

They cancelled services the Sunday before Christmas.

I guess God just doesn’t want your church, Kansas.

As for mine, we’re still on and I’ve got to go . . .

You would be guessing wrong Capn. A large portion of churches are comprised of elderly people these days. Most churches canceled services because they know the devote Christians that are up in years would be at risk for injury.

But you knew that Capn, you just wanted a chance to display your ‘(c)hristian’ attitude.

Well, so much for a belief in a personal god who watches over the faithful.

Obama is a Real contender for the Presidency, Brownback never was. Quite a difference. But if I were a long shot senator, I might be tempted to run knowing I’d get a check for not doing what I was hired to do.
