Plain and simple, Kansas Election Laws (I have posted some links above or go to www.kssos.org ) say that to run for elective office a candidate needs to be a regiatered to vote at their residence. The state of Kansas and courts in Kansas have acted against candidates and officials who have either lied and said they live somehwere they don't or had two addresses but lived primarily at another address (remember the hoopla regarding Henry Helgerson and how Henry had to "prove" where he lived? A lot of folks in the Republican Party went nuts over where Henry lived).

I don't own an axe, but I do have a moral compass.

LonnieTry to stay on point.

Did Kline break the law concerning residence requirements?

NO!

Is Kline an hourly employee required to "clock" at least 40 hours per week at his desk?

NO!

Does Kline do work outside of the office?

YES!

Did Kline always park in the same spot?

NO!

Did Kline always drive himself to work?

NO!

Everything else that you have said about Kline only shows that you have a political ax to grind.

All your other complaints only show your motive, in your attempt to hurt Kline.

I find it curious that Phill (or should I say Parkay?) states that the press was following him and his family and it was intimidating...

Phill is a staunch supporter of the crazies who stalk Wichita area medical personnel who work at women's health clinics. They are trained to not only stalk the medical personnel, but to stalk their kids too. There was an incident at an Wichita ice cream store where the police had to be called because children of a local clinic worker were being stalked (while they were eating ice cream) by Fundie radicals.

So - Phill, you are a hypocrite. You and your rightwingnut buddies have whined for years about Hillary not official living in New York...well, looks like you are a hypocrite on this issue too.

Phil Kline's wife is ALSO registered voter at his Johnson County address. Are the Kline's absentee parents? Who is at home with the 15 year old in Shawnee County? They both are - since his landlords have given conflicting reports to different media about whether or not he really lives at the Johnson County address.

And, his Johnson County landlord is a friend of his and a long time supporter (Pat Adair) and is president of a Kansas Chapter of a women's group who believe women should be subservient to men.

Perhaps the reporters were aggressive - but Phill hasn't been honest and his story and ambitions are unwinding (according to his office's record of prosecutions).

James Phill Kline is a Kansas issue. And besides, the editors love to throw us some red meat every now and again.

I don't believe they get paid for every post, but I know they do keep track of how well their blog does, and this is apparently one of the nation's best newspaper blogs.

I think Eagle editorial staff get paid according to the number of comments their blog posts receive (so I apologize for helping out here), but this topic is of no relevance to the Wichita Eagle's circulation area. The topic was put out there just because the Eagle staff hates Kline, and knows his name will generate lots of comments, thus helping Brownlee's comment count for this cycle.

Two sides to every story. Go to them tomorrow after they both post their interviews from today:

<a href="http://kmbz.com/Shanin--amp--Parks-DAILY-SHOW-TOPICS-Page/1033849" rel="nofollow">http://kmbz.com/Shanin--amp--Parks-DAILY-SHOW-TOPICS-Page/1033849</a>

<a href="http://www.kctv5.com/index.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.kctv5.com/index.html</a>

However, if you are liberal, I will understand your not bothering to listen. Your minds have been made up for you already by big brother.

That's right Chas: You don't think.

To anyone who owns a home or property - or has ever owned a home or property, it is obvious Chas has never owned anything by his ignorant remarks.

Hey, if Kline claims Johnson County as his Legal residence... Then how does he manage to deduct his Mortgage Interest on that home he OWNS in Shawnee County??

I dont think you are allowed to deduct interest on a secondary residence.. And where does he pay his State Property Tax?? If his Legal Residence is in Johnson County, as a "rental" he pays no Property Tax there... But he OWNS a home in Shawnee County.. Pays School tax in Shawnee County.. Pays Property tax in Shawnee County..

That all looks to me as if the Johnson County rental is a secondary residence to me.. Didnt we just have that problem with a City Council candidate or County Commission candidate here in Wichita this past election?? Some kid said he lived in one house, but really lived in a different "district"??

I've lived in a LOT bigger places than Johnson County... Johnson County is SMALL compared to some places I have lived and worked...

Oh yes Chas. I know you did. Yes I bet you did Chas. Oh most certainly Chas. Just like you were a golden glove boxer and then a rocket scientist. Yes Chas we know how important you are. Your vast worldly experiences and professional jobs you've held flatter me to no end.

Such a loss to the world, that you decided to settle in little ole Wichita, Kansas to collect your unemployment benefits.

We know Chas. We know.

Such a loss to the world, that you decided to settle in little ole Wichita, Kansas to collect your unemployment benefits.

We know Chas. We know.

I should listen to Nathan and the others instead of wasting my time.

Chas, you haven't a clue.

Go watch the video. Listen to the tape on KMBZ 980 AM to Klines own remarks.

He was working - other reporters SAW HIM IN THE COURTROOM while Channel 5 reporter was still watching the empty parking lot waiting for a car to show up - that never did.

On one date, his wife dropped him off at work as they had a dinner engagement that night. Like a sucker, Channel 5 reporter sat for 8 solid hours watching the garage door for a car to show up.

Spin on.

But the investigation by an amature television reporter is going nowhere. A little flash for this week. But it's a dead issue in the long run.

Why? Because there is no evidence of wrongdoing.

Beak, the reason the parking lot records are incomplete is because the County officials didnt turn them over in a proper manner... Can you remember the 18 1/2 minutes from the Nixon years?? LOL

the Taxpayers are shelling out $143,000 for?

Posted by: Chas

So what do you care Chas? You got no money and you pay no taxes. You certainly are not paying Johnson County taxes and from what I gather you would not qualify to live in the richest county in Kansas.

Very few vagrants or poor here. We bus them out. And no unemployed mail order preachers.

Our churches are BIG.

The Repubs. want to know every detail of Hillaries 8 yrs. while Bill was in office, could care less about seeing any records on Kline.

If Kline was running for President, he would be under the same scrutiny.

Possibly not... But then by your own statement, you are also questioning the words in the video of Bob Hecht - Shawnee County DA -who clearly stated the kind of hours it takes to do HIS job(50-60)

No Chas. You idiot. I'm saying what Bob or Joe or Tom say about the hours it takes - it means not a damn thing in relation to Phil Kline. Nothing Chas, you are off in fairy land without wings and without a place to land.

Let me make it simple and I'll type this real slow so maybe you can keep up.

No one has proven or even stated that Phil Kline was NOT working. All they have stated is WHEN HIS CAR WAS PARKED IN A PARKING SPOT.

And they admit, the records are INCOMPLETE.

Geez oh weez oh. Now I understand libs a little better.
