Again, the Democrats do not want employers, in the United States, to require their employees to speak English!

Nancy Pelosi, the Democrat Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, wants to block a law that would protect the Salvation Army from lawsuits brought by illegal alliens that can’t speak English.

In other words, you liberals want it BOTH ways: You want the public mad at Republicans for not “fixing” the problem, but you want all the Democrat votes you can get, so you let the illegals who are here take the rest of us to court!

The leadership of the Democrat Party is for open borders and no enforcement of our existing laws.

Their is still the issue of drug smuggling. They will continue to come over the border with drugs, even if just to go back and get another load. You keep drug prices high, you find kids have less access.

Of course, their is always meth. That stuff is mostly smuggled now also, because the ingrediants needed to make it are tougher to get. I think a world wide ban on all production of effedrine (or whatever the key ingrediant is) would work. But then again, what will they come up with next? Really, the whole meth epidemic was a result of high drug prices.

Enforce what we already have, that makes alot of sence.

BTW, the Salvation Army is in Mexico and they speak Spanish. I guess that really gets your goat.

For your most recent post to hold any water, you would have to believe that Mexico produces NO agricultural products at all. You would have to believe that all the workers left, so that now Mexico can not produce due to lack of labor.

This is clearly not true. There is no “vacant” or fallow ground in Mexico, that used to be farmland.

The problems in Mexico are due to Mexican law and Mexican policy. Most notable are the restrictions on land ownership.

Mexico will not allow “corporate farms”.

Mexico will not allow “foreign ownership” of real-estate.

Now to complicate matters America’s increase consumption of corn for ethanol has increased corn prices. The problem is that the farmers have already lost their jobs and came to America so there aren’t many people to produce the crops in Mexico so they must rely on imports. Since you only pay attention to Rush and the Fox Noise Channel you probably missed the protests in Mexico concerning the high corn prices.

NAFTA does not cause the illegals to come here.

Stupid, corrupt, Mexican policy causes Mexico to be poor.

Mexico does a poor job protecting contracts. Mexico does a poor job providing infrastructure to ship products.

There’s two simple things to do. Restructure NAFTA so jobs can be protected in Mexico and America. The other is to punish the illegal employers who hire the illegal immigrants for cheap labor. One will cut the need for Mexicans to leave, the other will cut the incentive for Americans to want them to come here.

2)Show proof of employment, or at the least, proof that they have a job available when they are granted the special status.

3)They should show proof of insurance or proof that an employer will give them insurance.

4)They can never get any sort of cash assistance, they must provide some sort of gurantee of major health insurance, at the least.

3) be required to fund a pension program for these people, that is transportable…like a roth or 401k

4) be liable for 2 years profit per illegal alien found to be working for them, excluding those checked through the database.

5) Be liable for prison sentences of the ceo/hrdirector etc. if the practice is widespread

Memo to self: Illegal aliens are outlaws. The 15 to 20 million in American that you think should be licensed drivers, do not have passports, birth certificates or driver’s licenses from their country of origin.
