Maybe Bush should have listened even more to Rove

The new book "Dead Certain: The Presidency of George Bush," by journalist Robert Draper, has a lot of juicy anecdotes about dissent in the White House, the Washington Post reported. For example, Draper claims that Karl Rove told Bush not to pick Dick Cheney as a running mate, calling the choice "worse than a safe pick — it was needy." And Rove reportedly expressed concern about selecting Harriet Miers for the U.S. Supreme Court but was "shouted down."

Bush and those around him see only bits and pieces of the big picture of world relations.

And without an overall understanding are in danger of making some very serious mistakes, mistakes which will hurt the United States for a long time.

Hey, he knew Cheney was smart enough not to invade Iraq. it was Cheney who predicted the result would be chaos.

Too bad he didn’t tell us that in 2002.

Bush and Rove never cared how many people knew that they were dishonest, only being caught while being so.

They seemed comfortable with their substandard behaviour.

The founding fathers would have been amazed that the American People would allow such trash to occupy their government.

The arguments which shaped our Constitution are so far afield in every aspect from the Neocons and Zionists, the ilk of Bush and Rove, as though it couldn’t be happening.

    And it shouldn’t be happening.

In Texas we say that some people would rather climb a tree to tell a lie rather than stand on the ground and tell the truth.

That seems to have become the underpinnings of US Foreign Policy.

    Inline with being dishonest.

I see Loser Kerry has already started attacking the Surge Policy. He failed beat the President in a fair election, yet he thinks he can pass judgment on weather the surge policy has been effective. Wrong loser to say the Surge policy failed.

Has the surge succeeded? And if you think so, then where is our victory in the Iraq War?

I’m waiting to see if our soldiers get to to come home in one piece and then we’ll talk about the surge working.

By the way, how is the Iraqi government doing on their vacation? Isn’t it nice of us to be sacrificing our soldiers while they get to leave the country for their 2-month holiday????

BTW: The so-called “surge” is nothing other than a euphemism for murdering Iraqis faster using more US troops, more Helicopter Gunships and lots of 500lb to 3000lb bombs.

The MSM won’t report the actual number of slaughtered Iraqis, which is well passed a million by now.

Bushco needs to stand trail for all their war-crimes.

“The surge” I wonder who thought that one up?
