How the congressman landed the beauty?

“I’m 60 years old, my wife’s 29. Draw your own conclusions. Diet helps.”

Kucinich and Fred Thompson have something in common besides aspirations for the presidency . . . the self-deception that goes hand in hand with their egos.

If it wrong for the Repubs, then it is wrong for the Demos. Based on your numerous posts, you have a double standard that does not apply equally to Demos.

To be quite honest. I don’t think she’s all that hot. IMHO.

Dems call Fred Thompson a dirty old man, because of his wife, but his current wife is his second. Plus he was 59 when and she was 35 when they married. Age difference 24 years. Plus Thompson has two children from his current wife!

The Elf and his trophy, 31 years difference. She worked for the Elf’s office and that’s how they hooked up. No kids and probably won’t be. They’ll be divorce within the next 5 years for sure. But! The Elf is having fun, that’s for sure. That is if he is getting any!

It’s not like a real dirty old men who goes to 3rd world counties and buy a 18 year old wife from a poor village. That I think is despicable.

Since when it is a crime to marry someone much younger than yourself. Both parties do it. My thoughts are you should marry someone close to your own age, but live and let live. Anna Nicole married someone 60+ years older “for love” and not for the fact that he was a billionaire. Hillary stayed married to Bill to further her own political ambitions. Was that wrong? Jackie stayed married to John so he could become President. Was that wrong? Eleanor stayed married to Franklin when he strayed. Is that wrong? The list goes on and on, choose your least favorite politician of both parties and you will find some skeleton in their closet because they are just as human as you and I. Jerry Springer guests marry animals. Is that wrong? I think it is because animals cannot talk to agree to the marriage. If the animal can talk and agree to the marriage, then it would be a different story.

Tapping its foot does not mean it wants to get married or even have sex. The animal could have restless leg (or legs) syndrome. Of course, if there is an overeager cop in the room that changes the picture? ;)

I did not even know about the signal of toe tapping until this story broke. But, obviously, Craig knew something about it because he was doing it!!!

And prior to his toe tapping – he was seen looking through the door crack at the policeman.

Most people, men and women, go into a public restroom, go to the first available stall, do their business and leaves. There is no looking at anyone directly. So there is enough question in my mind to think something else was on Craig’s mind in that public men’s room.

Besides, any man that says I am not gay that many times has to have a problem. I think the man doeth protest too much???

You better recheck your numbers since older woman younger man happens on a regular basis, maybe not on a 100% equal to older men, younger women, but it is fairly common. Demi may not be quite 60, but she has a much younger man. Used to be older women, younger men did not happen that much, but now it does. Older women like the stamina of younger men. Just because a woman is older does not mean she doesnt like sex. Older women, younger men is seen as trophy husbands.

“Clinton and Edwards, the two leading candidates at the forum, disagreed over whether the federal government should ban smoking in public places.

Clinton touted New York’s ban, which she said did not cause bars and restaurants to lose business. “A lot of the people who stayed away from going out are going out again” because of the smoking ban, she said. But she said the decision to have such bans should be left to cities and states.

Edwards said he would support a national ban if it was legal.

“I would push for anything that would reduce smoking in the United States of America,” he said.” (from the article)

Yup, Tom, I checked out nazi-boy’s link. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite the solid support for Aryan superiority one would expect from Hitlerite.

    Check this:

“Most of my work has been on intelligence. My major discoveries are that the Oriental peoples of East Asia have higher average intelligence by about 5 IQs points than Europeans and peoples of European origin in the United States and elsewhere; and that men have a higher average IQ than women by about 5 IQs points. I first published the high IQ of the Oriental peoples in 1977 in a paper on the intelligence of the Japanese. In subsequent years the high Oriental IQ has been confirmed in numerous studies of Oriental peoples in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Singapore and the United States.”

Hmmm . . . yellow is smarter than white?

    Damn.

I guess that explains the fifty years of COMMUNISM in China, the 150 years of despotic rule under an “emperor” in which China earned the name of the “sick man of Asia.”

Too bad “intelligence” as measured by western trained racist researchers doesn’t correlate all that well to living standards.

Poor little Brunei with their “stupid” indigenous South Asian population is doing a lot better than high-IQ China.

Lynn also points out that American blacks only have an average IQ (as a group) of 85.

Strange. I wonder why he doesn’t point out that NORTHERN blacks have a higher IQ than SOUTHERN whites.

IQ is bullshit. It is a series of questions that a bunch of academics drew up to measure what THEY VALUE.

If you don’t believe it, ask a guy with a 160 IQ to fix your transmission . . .

HR 676 Conyers-Kucinch Healthcare Bill would give a boost to the economyacross the board.

The National Health Insurance plan brings all of the 64% of our health care system that is financed by public money under one umbrella: federal and state taxes, property taxes and tax subsidies. These funds pay for Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, coverage for public employees (including teachers), elected officials, military personnel, etc. There are also hefty tax subsidies to employers to help pay for their employees’ health insurance.

Each state cannot access that money. That’s why the focus is on National Health Insurance. Eliminating the private insurance bureaucracy and paperwork that consumes one-third (31 percent) of every health care dollar PLUS streamlining payment though a single nonprofit payer would save more than $350 billion per year, enough to provide comprehensive, high-quality coverage for all Americans.

Another consideration is that everyone would have the same comprehensive health coverage, including all medical, hospital, eye care, dental care, long-term care, and mental health services. Currently, many people and businesses are paying huge premiums for insurance that is almost worthless if they were to have a serious illness.

Is national health insurance “socialized medicine”?

No. Socialized medicine is a system in which doctors and hospitals work for the government and draw salaries from the government. Doctors in the Veterans Administration and the Armed Services are paid this way. Examples also exist in Great Britain and Spain. But in most European countries, Canada, Australia and Japan they have socialized financing, or socialized health insurance, not socialized medicine. The government pays for care that is delivered in the private (mostly not-for-profit) sector. This is similar to how Medicare works in this country. Doctors are in private practice and are paid on a fee-for-service basis from government funds. The government does not own or manage their medical practices or hospitals.

The term socialized medicine is often used to conjure images of government bureaucratic interference in medical care. That does not describe what happens in countries with national health insurance. It does describe the interference by insurance company bureaucrats in our health system.
