Include Libertarians among those who are glad that Attorney General Alberto Gonzales resigned. Shane Cory, executive director of the Libertarian Party, said in a statement that the resignation “is a welcomed conclusion to what will be seen as a dark time for justice in America.” He added: “I feel that the civil liberties of all Americans are at least a little bit safer now that Gonzales has resigned.”

Will we ever uncover the depth of the admins.’ depravity?
The depths have been open and there all along. The American people have just found it easier to ignore it and pretend that it is Partisan politics as usual.
A case in point was my post several days ago saying we should invade ALL the middle Eastern countries. No one word of desent!
Uhm, well. . .duh?!!!
I cetainly don’t buy into the totality of the current Libetarian party, but c’mon, folks!
It’s late, I’m tired, and I don’t think anyone was expressing surprise.
Good enough.
Sol, eventually we may have a discussion as to why I can’t support Ron.
I cannot really tell the difference between the m and the Republicans myself. I listen to Neal Boortz who is a leader among the Libertarians and he sounds like Bush to me.

Maybe it’s because people thought you were joking. It’s just a dumb idea. Exactly what would we use to invade all of those countries? Bring back the draft? … and what purpose would it serve? When would “Mission Complete” occur?
“When would “Mission Complete” occur?”

Never. Which would be the goal.
http://www.kubby2008.com/ doesn’t sound like bush at all.
Don’t most blog threads post controversial issues? Libertarians don’t like a Major Party appointee. Hardly a surprise.

Unfortunately, I believe time will show Gonzales was only doing his boss’ will.
More ammo against Hillary!
The leaving of Alberto Gonzales will actually help Conservatives out.Does anyone remember the number of firings under Bill Clinton’sAdministration (and just what did Hillary say to justify those firings)?
What Queen Hillary and her hubby Bill did outshines everything thatGonzales did.
A lot of us remember… More ammo against Hillary!

Anybody else notice, that the election is being decided for us. Its most likely Hilary, against Giluani. The media, and everybody else is acting like a choice isn’t even available. This is sick. I don’t want Hilary or Giluani. Does it even matter, as I’ve heard several people say, all the candidates are basically bought out by large corporations, so what we get is every candidate spewing pre-written rebuttals that support their wealthy constituencies. So all the candidates basically tell everybody what they want to hear, to make an election appear legitimate. It’s decided by the electoral vote system anyway, not us. Campaign contributions should be done away with, we don’t have a choice on who we want to run this country, its the lobbyists for the wealthy constituencies donating monetary contributions, which most are probably back door deals that are unaccounted for. It’s basically the fortune 500 companies that run this country, and the owners of all those companies could give a shi t less whats best for the country, they want whats best for their business and protecting those interests, as well as making international trade agreements, and starting for profit wars. Anybody know about the super highway thats gonna run through Wichita to Kansas City, that will connect Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. Just means better business relations with corrupt Mexico. This country has been asleep since the drug induced hippie era, its about time we wake up, and smell the shi t, and quit fighting with each other on hot button issues that distract us from the real issues going on. Those large corporations provide a lot of nice amenities for modern day life, but they need to be held accounted for the actions they make that affect this country, and further blankets the world toward a globalized, wal-mart and starbuck place to live. Is that what we want, do we want the world to be a cardboard cutout of a McDonalds every 10 miles wherever you go in the world. Do we want to put a starbucks in the pyramids of Egypt. America has already lost a lot of its culture due to cloned franchise stores owned by multi-conglomerated business that keep merging together, and buying out small successful business, and making soulless cloned stores, that pay minimum wage, and outsource their jobs to sweat shops in third world countries, why? More money saved, more money earned. More money. When is there enough money for some of these ceo’s that get 60 percent of the profits, while they employ thousands of people and the other 40 percent trickles down to shit paying jobs. When are Americans going to wake up, and realize the economic power we hold, if the citizens of our country decides to collectively boycott some of these companies that play unfairly. We’re a nation divided by left and right, republican and democrat, and thats exactly the game they want us to play into. Because if we we’re all well educated and actually untied we might pose a threat to some of the massive behemoth conglomerated merger corporations that give a lambs shit about the citizens.
Check out the interesting extensions of the FISA law outlined in this report. It is kind of scary, really…

The fact that it is called “the Protect America Act” makes me suspicious that it might just do the EXACT opposite.
I must say, I like Ann Coulters comparisons:
