I am a Brownback Girl!

Move over, Obama Girl and Hot4Hill Girl. There’s someone else who has a crush on a presidential candidate: Brownback Girl. Watch a music video spoof starring Bucky Walters with Richard Crowson and me as background dancers — well, sort of dancers.

Oh man! I saw that earlier and have been back a few times more to look again!

    ROFLMAO funny!

You need to Youtube that! Or at least get it on a syndicate TV show.

Great production and great choreography by the Brownback girl! LOL!

It was an excellent video and thanks for making it!

Your humor is only bested by your talent!

Thanks for making me laugh. (sneaks out to look at video again)

That was a hoot! And a pretty good example of what Republican women look like.

The video nailed Brownback and I thank you for it. I am ashamed that he is from Kansas. Such intolerance for people is sinful!

    Get it on Youtube.

Great stuff! But I’m sure you’ll get a flurry of hate mail coming your way from Brownback lovers.

Be carefull. After Brownback whips himself for God, he’ll call the Pope and you’ll be cast into hellfire.

By the way, why doesn’t the media report on Brownback’s little habit of self-flagallation?

Wichita and the eagle should be ashamed.

It’s shameful that one of the state’s largest newspapers mock’s one of it’s own like this. And these same people will bemoan Kansas as a laughingstock.

Is this the role of a local newspaper? Is this what your pay your subscription dollars for?

The eagle is doing nothing but acting out it’s disdain of what Brownback stands for and pandering to their hate-filled left wing base that permeates this venue.

Boys, how soon ’til your lighthearted skewering of empty suit Sebelius or Kansas’ most notorious embarrassment, Baby-killer Tiller?

That is the best thing I’ve seen come out of Kansas in years!!! As a native Kansan, I thank you for helping to shatter the tainted, vicious Phelpsian image of my home state.

You guys are out of touch if you really think this is clever and funny. I’ve got a feeling that the only people saying how funny it is are Eagle employees who feel obligated.

Kansas, I don’t like Brownback. But the video is amateur and not funny.

I suppose that we should encourage the guys that made it however, so that when the Eagle continues to lose subscribers and they lose their jobs they will have something to fall back on.

Pretty gutsy for a paper in Kansas. Next thread should be about how many death threats the trio received!

I’m just baffled at some of the negative comments about this…get a life people! The facts are this…even if you are an ABSOLUTE single-issue voter (on oh say…abortion..), Brownback has done an absolutely horrible job of representing Kansas ever since he threw his hat into the ring for President (and some would argure long before that!). He panders to get votes everywhere but his home state, and he may as well be referred to as Sam Brownback (R-Iowa).

He does not appear to have any chance of winning the republican nomination even if he was running against Cabage Patch Kids, so it is baffling as to how he can be so out of touch with reality.

I for one thought this was an INCREDIBLY funny video and give kudos to those involved. I’m not the type of person that generally agrees with the Eagle’s editorial perspective, but I’m a real enough person to be able to see humor when it’s there…those that can’t…well…shouldn’t bother watching it ever again… If you were “deeply offended” by this, then wait until the REAL negative campaigning starts…

“Brownback Girl” is okay, but as Phantom suggested, the sequel needs to be an old torch song (maybe to the tune of “Stormy Weather”).

Hey that’s awesome! Now how about a couple of parodies to mock the respective faiths of CT Senator Joe Lieberman, or MN Representative Keith Ellison?

Oh wait, you couldn’t mock those guys because you’re open-minded and tolerant, right?

The greatest. This is funny and way cool. Brownback is a joke and he deserves to be made fun of. The best is the responses from the religious right. These people cannot laugh at themselves because they don’t realize how foolish they are.

  27. Ozhawk
    Posted August 1, 2007 at 1:48 pm | Permalink

The reason the parody is about Brownback’s faith is because that is the face he shows to the public and especially voters.

If Lieberman went around quoting the Torah and making his political and religious voice the same, then he would get picked on too, in HIS state.

This video is as much about parodying Kansans as it is Brownback.

This was HILLARIOUS! I’m so proud of the Eagle staff right now. Anyone who thinks otherwise…well…those are people who probably support Brownback!I’ve been sick but THANK YOU so much for making me laugh so much.

It would have been more appropriate to feature a crossdresser in a Giuliani parody video. Perhaps “America’s Mayor” could appear in it in drag himself.

I suppose a music video about Romney’s magical underwear would really funny too. Or is that too edgy?

This video is Brownback’s best bet to get his name into the national media. But I’m sure he won’t permit such a travesty to be shown.

Brownback’s religious right is not in power anymore and with the way things are looking – they will not be in power for quite a long time to come (God willing).

What do you expect out of the editorial staff of the Wichita Eagle? They are anti-Catholic to the hilt. If Crowson had his way, you would simply give your paycheck and children to Big Government and let them determine the use of both. The anti-Brownback drivel coming out of the Eagle is getting tiring and now childish.
