Gus, everything you said about the dreamliner is a lie. Secondly, the 380 is a disaster waiting to happen. It will only take one of them going down to make the worst air catastrophe in aviation history.

T"hat Engineering masterpiece is using technology that Airbus already has on the A380."

The A380 is all composite? or even a composite fuselage?

Re-affirmed the Air Capitol status? Is that why the plane rolled out in Washington?

Hint for newspaper editors: Wichita is not in Washington.

That Engineering masterpiece is using technology that Airbus already has on the A380. The Dreamliner is 4 months behind schedule and 20% over weight. The engines are underpowered and the plane won't meet projected targets but you won't hear that from Boeing.

This new jetliner is an engineering masterpiece. Too bad the airlines will get ahold of it and fill it with 17 inches wide seats 31 inches apart. Then the airlines will operate it with 4 hour ground holds. Once in the air, the airlines will sell $5 Lunchable knock-offs just hours before their expiration dates. Then on the ground, luggage will be diverted to where-ever. Too bad all the expertise at Boeing can't be unleashed to fixed the rest of the system.

"Typical procedure for new plane rollout. Nothing new there."

A friend of mine at Beech said the same thing.

Not that it matters much, but I heard that there was nothing in the inside of the plane. They wanted to get this thing rolled out on 7/8/7.

I think we can now say "stick it" to Airbus. They are toast and Boeing is back!
