    Nothing on this board yet, so here’s a gripe. My trash service was with Waste Connections for 6 years. They got greedy. My bill went to $73.73 per quarter (3 months). Bel Aire offers trash service for $12.50 per month, so I called WC the end of May and canceled my service and switched to the service Bel Aire offers. Monday, I got another bill from WC marked overdue. I called WC again. Some snotty little hag told me they had no record of dealing with me in May. She’d cancel my service (which I’d canceled already), but I’d have to pay for a month of their wildly overpriced service.

    Question:Who do I call to complain about this crap?

    XXX – try consumer fraud division in either the DA’s office or the AG’s office.
