You know how Bush had a “stomach upset” and couldn’t attend the G-8 summit.

Hmmm . . . I certainly couldn’t have been the BEER he was photographed drinking leading to a hangover?

Nah, he quit drinking years ago. He said so . . . and no reporter could ever just ask him.

Senator Joe Lieberman just appeared on “Face The Nation” with Bob Schieffer and instead of mentioning “terrorists” he said the Iran was training “al-Qaida” to “kill American soldiers” over a dozen times. Lieberman advocated attacking Iran to stop them from “killing Americans.”

Bob Schieffer was startled by this “call to war” and told Lieberman that he was making news by suggesting that the American People take on yet another war, when they don’t want the one they’re in now.

Lieberman had no comment about that.

Iran does train their soldiers as do we, but I wonder how Lieberman can be so sure that Iran only trains al-Qaida and not their own armed forces.

Surely Sen. Lieberman wouldn’t misrepresent anything on US National Television.

Right-wing Fundy School Board Member who Demands Bible Course tells Opponents to “Kiss My Butt”

In a news conference Wednesday, Lisa Graybill, legal director for the ACLU of Texas, said for students to learn a “literal truth” about the sacred text without acknowledging other religions surrounding it presents a problem constitutionally.

“It’s not that the Bible can’t be taught in schools,” she said. “It has to be done constitutionally.”

She added many parents have attempted to sit in on the class and haven’t been allowed the opportunity.

ECISD trustee L.V. “Butch” Foreman III said he didn’t understand how the parents could have an argument in the case if none had children taking the classes.

“ . . . they can kiss my butt,” Foreman said. “They’re just looking to impose their beliefs and their views on everybody, and we don’t put up with that crap out here.”

The Saudis are Sunni, and Bin Laden was kicked out of Saudi Arabia. He went to set-up shop in Sudan and was again kicked of that country. He finally set-up shop in Afghanistan under the Taliban { who are radical Shiites much to his liking }.

The Israelis like to badmouth the Saudis, as the Zionists want Saudi oil. The Israelis and their supporters always jump on the chance to badmouth the Saudis.

The first time oil hit 3 dollars, the Saudis increased production by 1 million barrels a day to help bring down the price. It worked.

The current high price of gasoline is Cheney’s doing, as the price of crude oil remains about 60-65 dollar range and doesn’t justify the 3-4 dollar price of gasoline.

NATO officials say they have caught Iran red-handed,shipping heavy arms, C4 explosives and advanced roadside bombs to the Taliban for use against NATOforces, in what the officials say is a dramatic escalation of Iran’s proxy war against the UnitedStates and Great Britain. Also among the munitions are components for the lethal EFPs, or explosive formed projectiles, the roadside bombs that U.S. officials say Iran has provided to Iraqi insurgents with deadly results.Meanwhile, Syria, aided by Iran, is ready to launch a war against Israel. We’ll be launching strikes against Iran sooner or later, probably starting with high-altitude bombing runs on their terrorist training camps and munitions.God bless the USofA.

The US has been caught red handed giving cluster bombs to the rogue terrorist of Israel to be used against defenceless Palestinians, Iraqis, and Lebanese.

The rogue terrorist of Israel is planning a preemptive strike against Iranians which offer no threat other than trying to gain an semblance of weapons with which to fight off the invading hordes of barbarians of Israelis and American butchers.

The recent slaughter of defenseless Lebanese is all the proof needed to show the intent of the butchers and 4 years of daily bombing of Iraqis civilians goes beyond proving the point.

The world seems to recognize what the crazed killers fail to see in themselves, but there is nothing new about that.

Their phony slogans of “terrorists” and “al-Qaida” are the tired old propaganda tools used to justify the bloodbath which they prefer over the Arab peace plan in the offering.

COLIN POWELL REFUTES BUSH’S LIE THAT HE “ONLY DOES WHAT THE COMMANDERS IN THE FIELD WANT”

On NBC’s “Meet the Press” on June 10, host Tim Russert asked Powell why his prediction of a troop drawdown by early 2007 hadn’t come to pass.

“A different choice was made by the President,” Powell answered. “The President received advice from his military advisers last fall that said, do not send more troops.

“Gen. [John] Abizaid went before the Congress, the commander of Central Command, and said he had consulted with all his division commanders in Iraq and all of the senior commanders, and none of them wanted to send additional troops.

“They thought the strategy at that point should be to put the burden on the Iraqis to resolve what I call a civil war.”

Abizaid’s position was supported, too, by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and last fall even by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who sent the President a memo on Nov. 6 suggesting a redeployment of U.S. forces away from police functions, echoing earlier recommendations of Democratic Rep. John Murtha.

    The Surge Purge

Two days after that memo, Bush fired Rumsfeld. The President then turned to the “surge” idea being promoted by neoconservative theorists, such as historian Frederick Kagan. As White House neocons embraced the notion of a troop escalation, Bush began purging dissident military officers.

Bush removed the two top generals overseeing the Iraq War, Abizaid and George Casey – and last week extended the purge to Joint Chiefs chairman, Gen. Peter Pace, who also had offended the neocons by resisting pressure for military action against Iran.

After Bush announced the “surge” plan in January and installed more compliant commanders to carry it out, such as Gen. David Petraeus, the President seamlessly shifted back to rhetoric about how he listens to the advice of the military experts on the ground.
