Good for Gates on deployments, mental health

Defense Secretary Robert Gates offered some encouraging words Thursday on two important fronts: He said he doesn’t anticipate extending deployments of U.S. troops currently in Iraq beyond 15 months. And he said the military’s troubled mental health system “is something that we can, must and will get fixed.”

We used to call them “choppers.” The guys who made the transition from being human to enjoying the killing.

The military does two things: Blow-up things and kill people.

That’s why it’s so important not to do what we’re doing now, which is misusing the military to advance the sick goals of Zionist-Jews instead of directing the military to be used only as a last result, or last resort of clear-minded thinking for necessary force to produce a positive outcome.

We humans cannot handle cold-blooded murder; our minds break.

Hey, Gates, what’s the big deal about not extending deployments beyond 15 months. You won’t be in office beyond 15 months. Dummy.

That’s what the American People want, but those in control of the American government no longer do the bidding of the American People, but rather pursue their own dark agenda.

Bush would only do this behind your backs, in a private meeting.

Read this and see Bush give away the farm { our kid’s farm…

“U.S. to increase military aid to Israel in decade-long deal “”By Aluf Benn and Shmuel Rosner, Haaretz Correspondents”"The United States will increase its military assistance to Israel and sign a new agreement securing American aid to the country for the next decade, President George W. Bush announced Tuesday following his meeting with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

Olmert had persuaded Bush to announce the aid increase, senior political sources said Wednesday.

Prior to Olmert’s visit to Washington it was agreed that the issue would be raised during their meeting, but the President gave his response to the Israeli request for increased military assistance only during the meeting with the prime minister.”

“The increase of the military assistance is the most important result of Olmert’s visit to the United States,” the political sources said.

This year, Israel will receive $2.4 billion in military aid from the U.S.

The agreement concluded by former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to which the United States’ economic aid package to Israel would be gradually diminished and the military aid would increase, is coming to an end this year.”

“Israel asked for a gradual increase in the aid over a 10-year period at the tune of $50 million per year. At the end of the 10 years, Israel will receive $2.9 billion annually in military assistance from the U.S.”

“The prime minister asked U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates for his assistance in expediting the handling of a number of IDF procurement requests meant to complete the replenishment of equipment and stores used during the Second Lebanon War.

Gates pointed out that though there is no problem with the requests in principle, there is an orderly procedure. However, Bush intervened and directed the defense secretary to expedite approval of the IDF’s requests.”

Washington, D.C. – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel issued the following statement regarding his amendment to cut funding for the Office of the Vice President from the bill that funds the executive branch. The legislation – the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations bill — will be considered on the floor of the House of Representatives next week.

“The Vice President has a choice to make. If he believes his legal case, his office has no business being funded as part of the executive branch. However, if he demands executive branch funding he cannot ignore executive branch rules. At the very least, the Vice President should be consistent. This amendment will ensure that the Vice President’s funding is consistent with his legal arguments. I have worked closely with my colleagues on this amendment and will continue to pursue this measure in the coming days.”

uhhh Dick. if you are not part of the Executive branch, then give up the secret service, the underground undisclosed bunker you have been hiding in and get out of our house..
