Rudy Giuliani Wednesday blamed former President Bill Clinton for failing to respond forcefully enough to terrorism after the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
What a difference a presidential campaign makes.
Just last September, the former New York City mayor defended Clinton’s record amid debate over whether Clinton or Bush did enough to stop the Sept. 11 attacks.
“The idea of trying to cast blame on President Clinton is just wrong for many, many reasons, not the least of which is I don’t think he deserves it,” Giuliani said at the time.
The mayor no doubt would like to shift attention to someone else, considering recent scrutiny of his own spotty anti-terror record. He faces charges that he failed to equip New York firefighters at ground zero with adequate respirators despite repeated EPA directives to do so; and he reportedly dropped out of the bipartisan Iraq Study Group to focus on paid speaking engagements.

Guiliani is one to criticize. He was part of the 9/11 Commission but never showed up to the meetings because he was too busy making money with speeches talking about 9/11. He had the brilliant idea of putting the emergency response HQ in the #1 terrorist target. Then he tells the rescue workers to breathe poison and burying the dead fire fighters under a bunch of rubble.
What a saint.
I agree that Clinton probably should have done more to kill Ben Laden but, as I recall, everytime he did something, the Repukes would say “oh he is just doing that to cover up the Monica thing”. So he was really paralyzed politically at that time.
Actually Kev, at the time of the 1993 World Trade Center bombings, Lewinsky was not yet a known issue, to the public anyway.
It amazes me how Democrats defend Clinton by making excuses for him like you did – “Well Bill couldn’t do anything cause the Republicans wouldn’t let him.”
That’s a BULLSHIT excuse. Clinton was the Commander in Chief, though he didn’t act like he was, and there is no excuse for Clinton’s inaction following an attack on NYC and an attack on the USA.
And it’s ridculous that the Eagle tries to assign blame to Giuliani for 9/11 by saying that he “failed to equip New York firefighters at ground zero with adequate respirators despite repeated EPA directives to do so”.
Surprise, the Eagle attacks the leading Republican again and with what? A lack of respirators for firefighters caused the WTC to be attacked, and to collapse? There wasn’t a whole bunch of time for firefighters to run up 100 flights of stairs in 2 buildings and run back down again to rescue maybe 1 person per firefighter per trip.
The Wichita Eagle might as well change its name to the Wichita Democrat.
Or maybe the Wichita Al Jazeera
Where, oh where would republicans be if they didn’t have Clinton to blame everything on?
We suffered horribly under the Clinton administration, what with all of that peace, prosperity, and budget surpluses. It’s soooo much better now that we’re fighting 2 wars, the deficit has risen more than any past administration, and government has grown to outrageous proportions.
Ignoring the problem of Islamic Extremist Terrorist Attacks in the 1990’s did not make the problem go away.
Ignoring the problem did mean the US deferred the costs of having a strong national defense until 9/11, then the new President took action – action that should have been taken before.
So war costs money. And oh, that’s right, Clinton’s recession starting in the 4th Qtr of 2000 also greatly contributed to the deficits.
One last note, at NO POINT in the last 30 years has any President or Congress taken action to solve the massive Social Security deficit that will cause TRILLION dollar annual DEFICITS (not to be confused with the National DEBT)when Social Security receipts fall short of expenditures – in the year 2017.
Neither party can take credit for solving the Social Security problem, so I guess both parties will try to avoid the blame too.
And the People will pay the price for the inaction of Congress. And who votes in/out Congress?
I don’t claim either party, and I see nothing any of you Dems or Repubs can brag about.
If the uninformed would read the 911 commission report, their eyes might be opened.
But I don’t it, it’s the usual repeat the same old mantra around here whether it’s true or not.
don’t it=doubt it
“Republican” –
Your Freudian slip is showing.
Oh NO!! The Clinton name was used in the same sentence as ‘blame’. Those bad repubs disappointed that he did nothing when we were repeatedly attacked by muslim extremists. Thats one way to keep from having to spend money on your watch. Just push it on to those who come behind you.
Clinton recession, 9/11, retaliation for the USS Cole – these all cost money, major money. We still have a robust economy, low unemployment and a deficit that is coming down faster now than previously – in part due to the Bush tax cut.
I am not defending all of his actions because I disagree with many of them but I will give credit when it is due.
Rudy Giuliani would make a fine president of Israel and they want him….to be president of the United States, which carries the key to the US Treasury and all of the latest Pentagon weapons they can haul to their dirty little enterprise.
Once Israel loses Bush, they’re in for a drought, money wise, and weapons wise, but the Israelis can count on Rudy Giuliani as their man in Washington, as he is completely loyal to the Zionists.
Rudy Giuliani will screw-over America
The truth is that Cliton didn’t do enough after the first bombing. An American city was hit and the Feds should have done more. Just what would you expect Rudy to do about it?
Mr. Guliani is trying to deflect attention to Clinton to avoid his own shortcomings. Such as the fact he claims to be Catholic yet his first marriage was NOT annuled and he remarried outside of the Church. Which means he cannot receive any of the sacraments or practice the Catholic faith which he claims to be a part of. He deflects due to his liberal views on abortion. He plays to his audience(in this case Regent University)to try to rally support for his soon to fail campaign.
Those that would like to blame Clinton for his inaction after the first Trade Center attack, please consider this. Take a look at how Reagan responded after the attack in Beirut that killed 200+ Marines. What did he do? Open a Guantanamo? NO. Strip Americans of Constitutional rights? No. Invade Lebannon to rid the world of terrorism? No. You can go back 30 yrs and point the finger at any of the previous president’s and say its their fault.
People will wake up and figure out what kind of fraud Rudy really is. He put the command center for his emergency response team in the World Trade Center after the first attack. He never spoke or did anything about terrorism between the two attacks on the World Trade Center.
When you speak to the religious reich truth does not matter. Just speak slow and use words that they understand…..9/11….gays…..abortion….God……tax cuts.
I’m sure Hillary will solve every problem AND bring spending under control too.
And she’ll raise taxes on the rich to make sure they pay their fare share!
I wonder what their fair share of the total income tax is?

Wouldn’t Bloomberg make a better President for Israel?
“religious reich”
Gotta love those catchy little lables…
Do y’all have a book of them or what? Is there a phone or email net that spreads them? Do tell.
“Do y’all have a book of them or what?”
While accusing the right thinking Americans of parrotting Rush, the you peoples go to the usual websites to be told how to think. How many times have they linked to them? How many times have the right thinkers linked to Rush?Answer: Many times and never.
If the shoe fits Solly. Change your shoes.
“The national government will maintain and defend the foundations on which the power of our nation rests. It will offer strong protection to Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality. Today Christians stand at the head of our country. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theatre, and in the press — in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of LIBERAL excess during the past years.”
Did Bush say this? Sure sounds like any speech given to the GOP base.
Label Monkey Mike,
Have you been told what to say today? Better check your email and your web sites…
The previous post was said by Adolph Hitler. Now you know why I call them the religious reich. That speech can be heard on the GOP trail any day of the week.
Ass Monkey Solly,I do not check any website to develop my opinion. Thats what is great about being independent, you get to think for yourself. You should try that sometime.
Ass monkey… Ass… why would you fixate on the rectal region Mike?
“Thats what is great about being independent,..”
Independent = Makes you feel good to say, means nothing.
“Wouldn’t Bloomberg make a better President for Israel?”
Bloomberg would definitely make a great president for Israel as he would also be totally loyal to the Zionists, but he’s not electable here in America where the Zionists need their Bush replacement.
Israeli newspapers brag that New York City is “their” largest Jewish city, and that’s why Hillary sold her soul to the Zionists in order to be elected to the US Senate.
She had her pick of States to go after a Senate Seat, but with Israeli support and the AIPAC political machine, she was a “shoe-in” for New York.
That’s how she got her Senate Seat.
And that boys and girls is also something that you’re not supposed to know.
Well Ed, then it should be a win-win election in 2008 with Giuliani vs Clinton, either one is a winner.
SollyI figured that it was the region you were most familiar with. Due to how much time you spend with your head in one.
Fleetwood=black republican? Obviously someone has an identity crisis.
How ironic that Republicans still blame Bill Clinton for not killing Bin Laden but yet these same fools do not say anything when their beloved little emperor king Georgie states that he does not even think about Bin Laden anymore.
Any president, Democrat or Republican, that publicly states they do not even give a thought about the number #1 terrorist that killed 3,000+ on 9/11 should be run out of office. Instead, these so-called patriotic Republicans still want to blame Clinton for everything.
Mike, in trying to support your beloved Democratic Party, you’ve gone overboard. When did any Republican (or Dem for that matter)in the USA say anything like your quote?
The Dems are pushing the FAIRNESS Doctrine to try to eliminate Conservative Talk radio – so which side wants to:
“burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theatre, and in the PRESS”
Tell me Mike, instead of attacking your opponents, tell me how you can brag about your beloved Democratic party?
I don’t claim either one because I can’t see how EITHER party has anything to brag about.
Say something positive for once in your life, and if you can’t find anything positive to say about your party, why do you claim to be a Democrat?
“Fleetwood=black republican?”
Did I miss something? Where did that come from?
A black republican is what the Democrats called abolishonist Republicans during the Civil War.
MaxPlease post where I have ever laid claim to the democratic party. Registered independent here.

I thought we were in the year 2007? Please correct me if I am wrong. Your totaly hypocrisy Fleet is amazing. Please tell me how the Republican party has done anything to help minorities. But I forget, when you look in the mirror you see a white man.
mike- I still don’t get where the black republican charge comes from. It seems out of the blue. Please explain.
From the Israeli Newspaper Haaretz.
“The Giuliani road show finds a receptive Jewish crowd”
“He was almost an hour late, and the crowd, waiting patiently at the Bnei Israel synagogue in Rockville, MD, was somewhat less than impressive in number. But when Rudy Giuliani finally stepped onto the stage it was all cheers and claps. They might not vote for him (most American Jews are Democrats), but they seem to like him anyway. And he seems to like them back, or at least pretend to. He is, after all, a politician from New York running for President. Here are a couple of remarks on what he said and how he said it.”
1.
“An hour long presentation, including a Q&A session, and except for one question all Giuliani was talking about is terror and the war against radical Islam. Domestic issues seem to be an anathema for this specific campaign (or for this campaign at this particular campaign stop). Giuliani promised to stay “on offense” and to make sure that America has a proper understanding “of the nature of evil.” It was the same theme he hammered earlier in the day appearing before the Christian students of Reverend Pat Robertson: “The one issue that dominates is the fact that Islamic terrorists are trying to kill us.”
2.
“Radical Islam is a term Giuliani used a lot. He is unhappy with those other candidates who seem to be reluctant to use it out of politeness, or political correctness, or plain ignorance. When he was watching the Democratic debates, he said, he noticed that not even one of the candidates used “Islamic terrorism” as a phrase. And no, he doesn’t think all Muslims are radical, but he also will not be willing to diminish the problem and to say that only a marginal minority of Muslims are radical.”
3.
“He does not blame the Clinton administration for its incapacity to recognize the growing threat back in the nineties, but he keeps reminding the audience that it was indeed the Clinton administration that failed to respond properly to various attacks on Americans around the world – and in America itself (WTC first bombing). The nineties, Giuliani says, was the “decade of denial”. Is it fair to assume that most people remember there’s a Clinton running for President again?”
4.
“One of the most interesting trends among Republicans now, is the usage of the Gaza example to make a point on Iraq. If we listen to the suggestions coming from the Democratic side, Giuliani said, Iraq will end up like Gaza, but on a much larger scale. Do you really want such a development to occur? If not, stay the course. Newt Gingrich, not yet a candidate, made Gaza an example for America’s difficulties in the war against terror in an article he wrote for the Washington Times earlier this week: As the forces of modernity are being ground up by terrorism, our political process is not producing a Churchill or Roosevelt to rally the democracies but is instead embracing advocates of surrender, withdrawal, and defeat.”
5.
“But Giuliani seems to think that the modern Churchill walks amongst us, masquerading as a former mayor of New York. He mentions the British Lion (no, it is not the new Mideast peace envoy Tony Blair) as he discusses the several cases of the past century in which the west failed to recognize “evil in its early stages.” When he turns to Iran he doesn’t mince words. “I’m going to assume that they are telling me the truth” when they say they want to eliminate Israel and to hurt America. Me must make it clear to the Iranians, he says, that a nuclear Iran is “just not going to happen.”
6.
“Giuliani mentions a couple of American Presidents, but singles out two of them. Jimmy Carter is the one name that’s mentioned as an example of American confusion and weakness. The crowed laughs as his name is mentioned and the candidate gives them the biggest smile of the evening. Then he moves to Ronald Reagan and the release of American hostages from Iran. Giuliani know why those captured were released one hour after Reagan assumed office. It is that something they saw in his eyes meant business. And they need to see such eyes again.”
7.
“Giuliani seems to be uncomfortable as he talks about future policies vis-a-vis the Palestinians. On the one hand, he just had lunch with his friend Ehud Olmert, Israel’s Prime Minister (being friends with Olmert is not necessarily a big advantage these days, but never mind) and he supports what Olmert is doing. On the other hand, Giuliani falls short of saying that strengthening Abbas is a wise move. He only seems to be tolerating it, as long as it is done with the proper cautious. And let him remind you once again that he once threw Arafat out of a Lincoln Center concert held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. In hindsight, one must admit, this gives a more proper impression than it did back then.”

FleetAre you not a republican? Are you not a black man? You have made your party affiliation clear for some time now. Nothing new here.
I’m not a Black man. Not there is anything wrong with that.
So fleet, you DO see a white man in the mirror then….
Mike, your baseless attack was on Republicans claiming their language was the same used by Hitler.
This blatantly false attack on the Republicans revealed your true colors.
You still have shown how any Republican or Democrat, said anything close to your Hitler quote.
And what is your fixation on Hitler? You Ed’s buddy?
Are you will to surrender The United States of America to the Israelis?
Max
You are out of line.
Get back in the line Max… sheesh.
“Ignoring the problem of Islamic Extremist Terrorist Attacks in the 1990’s did not make the problem go away.”Posted by: Max | June 28, 2007 at 07:10 AM
Neither did starting an illegal, unjust, and immoral war.
“And oh, that’s right, Clinton’s recession starting in the 4th Qtr of 2000 also greatly contributed to the deficits.”Posted by: Max | June 28, 2007 at 07:10 AM
Actually, the recession started in March 2001 after Bush took office.”On July 16, 2003, the committee determined that a trough in economic activity occurred in November 2001. The committee’s announcement of the trough is at http://www.nber.org/cycles/july2003. The trough marks the end of the recession that began in March 2001.”
Let’s repeat that for effect…I’ll type slowly so you can keep up:
“THE TROUGH MARKS THE END OF THE RECESSION THAT BEGAN IN MARCH 2001″
http://www.nber.org/cycles/recessions.htmlBut as every good republican knows, if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes true.
“Clinton recession, 9/11, retaliation for the USS Cole – these all cost money, major money. We still have a robust economy, low unemployment and a deficit that is coming down faster now than previously – in part due to the Bush tax cut.”Posted by: ksgrm | June 28, 2007 at 08:09 AM
“Clinton recession” = debunked, another republican myth
“retaliation for the USS Cole”????? Which retaliation was that?
“….a deficit that is coming down faster now than previously – in part due to the Bush tax cut.”
Good point. The Bush deficit is now merely monstrous instead of obscene. So much better than the budget surplus before Bush took office.
So what you are saying Fleet is the posts you have previously posted are false? So you are not a hypocrit you are a liar? Good to get that cleared up.
My post of Hitler’s statement is an example of how the religious reich has hi jacked our government. Their message is the same. That you cannot deny. I am sure you will, but that just shows how buried your head really is.
“So fleet, you DO see a white man in the mirror then….”
Yes, Sol, I’m a Honkey Monkey.
XXX, you don’t remember the USS Cole and what Clinton didn’t do about it?
Ok, even if your claim is true about the recession start date, (not agreeable to that yet), how does Bush cause this on 3/1/01?
Actually Mikey, I can deny your false statement, you haven’t provided a single quote from any Republican that matches your Hitler quote. And as for religion taking over this country, show me one measurement of this? Another false statement.
“My post of Hitler’s statement is an example of how the religious reich has hi jacked our government. Their message is the same. That you cannot deny.” Mike
So Mike,
A black man who is a Republican has an “identity crisis”? And as I recall, your are a black man?
Thanks Sol, I’m back in line now.:)
SHHHHHHHHH!!!
Don’t tell Colin Powell !!!!
SHHHHDon’t tell Thomas Sowell
Deny all you want Max. Just shows your ignorance. Please explain to me why there are so many Regent University grads in the administration? Due to their great tradition in education? Only the best and brightest are accepted? Or due to the political favors promised on the campaign trail? Monica Goodling, the idiot that worked for AG AG…Regent grad. As for the other 50+ appointees from Regent University, again the religious reich hi jacking the government
Thats right LJ. Black man, registered independent.
My fellow Americans, as I stand before you today to begin a second term in office, I a see a new morning in America. An opportunity comes but rarely for a person or a generation to change the world. Today is such an opportunity. You have given me a sweeping mandate to bring about far-reaching changes in America and the world. I accept that responsibility with humility. Today I pledge to you all my abilities to put us back on the road to reclaiming America as a Christian nation.During the election campaign, we had a healthy debate about the values of America rooted in our Christian identity. You have spoken, and I pledge to use the power of the federal government to enforce those values. Our actions must speak louder than our words.
George W Bush April 2005
Okay, here’s the thing. I don;t care if you are a registgered independent, registered Democrat, or registered socialist. Making a comment that a black man registerd as a Republican has an identity crisis is nothing but rascist. Yeah, I said it rascist. You remind me of all the black kids who taunted my cousin. She was 1/2 white,1/2 black. Her dad was a puking Wichita PD that failed to inform her Mom that he was married. SHe got pregnant, he wanted her tohave an abortion, she refused, he skipped. Anyway, the white kids didn;t want her around because of her skin color. The black kids didn;t want her around because she didn;t act “black” enough. Kid spent a good part of high school in tears because of rascism on both parties. You get no pass with me, because see it is personal. Rascist.
Now tell me that Bush is removed from Hilter. I don’t have a fixation on Hitler, just recognize the similarities.
Isn’t there a word for when a blog degenerates into the Hitler comparison?
Well considering I am half black and half white I can relate to the issues your cousin. I lived in an all white neighborhood and was called “Oreo”, “Chocolate Chip Cookie” by the white kids. And “nigger daddy” by the black kids. So do me a favor and shut your face. You don’t know me, or anything about me. The fact that Fleetwood has misrepresented himself numerous times has no impact on you. The fact that I said a black republican has an identity crisis gets you all fired up. Go pound sand with that.
Actually, I’m a very sexy, young, blonde, nymphomaniac woman with huge knockers who is rich. I’m perfect.
I plain don;t give a damn about your background, and I plain don;t give a damn about Fleetwood on anything. And since this a public forum, I;ll say what I want, when Iwant. The first amendment and all that.
little– Do you type with a stick in your mouth or something?
Do me a favor then. Use your first amendment right on someone else. Do not lump me in with your families issues. Sorry to hear your sister found a “deadbeat” and decided to procreate with him. I had nothing to do with that.
Where ARE those perps of the ‘93 WTC bombing?
Oh, that’s right. They’re in prison.
Fleetwood-the stick is between my toes.Mike-I didn;t lump you in with my family’s issues, I lumped you in with those who caused issues. Note the difference.
And Mike, I guess Ineed to clarify. The mom was not my sister, but my cousin. it was her daughter. Ididn;t make a distinction between first or second cousin. My bad. And I never said you had anything to do with the “procreation”.
Yeah yeah fleet, but are you easy?
Thanks for the clarification LJ. Without that I might have walked around misinformed about your family. Like I care. The issues that your “cousin” experienced, most interracial children experienced. So you don’t feel like she was the only one.
The issues that your “cousin” experienced, most interracial children experienced. So you don’t feel like she was the only one.
Posted by: Mike | June 28, 2007 at 10:23 AM
i don;t.
Great! Now lets move on. Shall we?
Sointenly!
“Yeah yeah fleet, but are you easy?”
Nympho. Duh!
Hey Fleetwood, Godwin’s Law is what you were thinkin about.
“As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.”
Blonde Nympho? LOL!!
And Mikey, Mayor Ray Nagin said this:
“I don’t care what people are saying Uptown or wherever they are. This city will be chocolate at the end of the day,” he said. “This city will be a majority African-American city. It’s the way God wants it to be.”
Is Nagin Republican, Nazi, or Racist?
Actually Kev, at the time of the 1993 World Trade Center bombings, Lewinsky was not yet a known issue, to the public anyway. Posted by Max
——————————–Actually Max, by 1998 all but one of the people who were involved in the 1993 WTC bombing were in prison. Where is Bin Laden six years after the attack of the WTC?
Well, well, well: after it turned out that Giuliani’s South Carolina campaign manager was busted for SELLING CRACK, that Rudy skipped EVERY meeting of the Iraq Study Group, and that Giuliani and Associates employs Monsignor Alan Placa, who a Suffolk County grand jury had accused of child molestation, it seems clear that a fast-sinking Rudy felt the need to change the subject.
And, as the predictable reponse of our own WeBlog Right-Wing Blog Zombies shows, the only way for Rudy to get his groove back necessarily passed through some way of denouncing Bill Clinton.
One senses a bit of the old stink of desperation around Rudy’s campaign. More than a bit, actually.
“Where ARE those perps of the ‘93 WTC bombing?
Oh, that’s right. They’re in prison.
Posted by: RD | June 28, 2007 at 10:12 AM”
And where is Bin Laden? And why did bush abolish the task force set up to find him? Why does bush not even “think much about him” anymore?
Hypocrisy, thy name is….
Giulani, money matters.
Damn del, ya beat me to it!
And CF? You are correct as usual.
Remember the song “oooh that smell. The smell of death’s around you”?
I think it applies to all the gop candidates. And fred can bring all the aftershave he wants. It wont cover up the smell.
It’ll just smell like death wears aqua velva or old spice…
Actually Max, by 1998 all but one of the people who were involved in the 1993 WTC bombing were in prison. Where is Bin Laden six years after the attack of the WTC? Delores.
Say Delores, where did all those bombers get their money? And where’s the missing bomber? How’d he get away?
Bin Laden is now hiding in a hole somewhere. Clinton didn’t exactly make Bin Laden shake in his boots now did he?
Bin Laden is alive and well and active, with a bigger following than he could have ever dreamed of, thanks to the actions of a handful of lunatics, which has bush at the top of the list.
I personally think the SOB (bin laden) is dead. If not, he is cowering in fear of being dead. But you are right about having a bigger following than ever, regardless of him being dead
Max,
Bin Laden is now hiding in a hole somewhere because George Bush let him get away. George Bush. He’s the President and stuff.
Al Qaeda started their war of terror against the United States for one reason and one reason only.
The US had stationed troops in Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War.
Religious extremists vehemently HATED infidel boots on their Holy Land but were willing to tolerate it as long as Iraq posed a threat.
Then Sec’ry of War, Dick Cheney, assured the restive Saudis that the “US troops would not stay in Saudi Arabia ONE MINUTE longer than necessary [to protect against Iraq].”
Well, guess what? He lied.
US troops stayed long after Iraq was pushed out of Kuwait in 1991. They stayed through 1992. And 1993.
The first Al Qaeda attack was against the WTC in 1993–a truck bomb was exploded in an underground parking garage. Some 18 people were killed.
The motivation for this attack was never revealed.
This attack was followed up with a plot to kill President Clinton when he visited Manila in 1994, to blow up American airliners in 1995, and to fly a plane laden with explosives into the CIA headquarters later that year. Al-Qaeda successfully blew up a military complex in Riyadh killing five Americans in November 1995, exploded a truck bomb in June 1996 at Khobar Towers killing 19 Americans, destroyed American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, and conspired against the USS The Sullivans and nearly sank the USS Cole in Yemen in 2000.
In his 1996 “fatwa,” Bin Laden refers some twenty times to attacking the United States as long as it desecrates the site of the “two holies”—Mecca and Medina.
Finally, in April of 2003, with virtually no reportage in the US press, Bush pulled US troops out of Saudi Arabia.
The terrorists had “won.” They acheived their primary goal.
Their secondary goal was to engage the US in a land battle in a mideastern country where they could wage a war of attrition against us like they did against the Russians in Afghanistan.
The invasion and occupation of Iraq fufilled their wildest hopes.
Again, the terrorists have “won.”
And bin Laden walks free.
Worst.
President.
Ever.
Another “Yo Mama” thread…moderately entertaining.
On the other hand, it displays the “jello mould” of the Liberal Democrat agenda.
CapnAmerica,
I see you are touting the typical “blame America first” mantra of the left.
Osama may have gotten away, but he sure isn’t openly training terrorists in Afghanistan giving TV interviews like he was with Clinton in the whitehouse.
Clinton did more to combat terror than Bush ever did prior to 9/11. In Bush’s defence, his Presidency was new. They had time however to have a complete invasion and occuptation of Iraq planned out. Those resources could have been used to combat the real threats.
As far as the recession starting prior to Bush taking office, this is true. However, the general concensus amongst the investment community once we knew we were losing the genious of the Clinton administration was to dump, and dump we did, which spun the economy into a slump.
Nathan has a point.
Clinton could have / should have pulled the troops out of Saudi Arabia too.
That would have prevented the attacks from ever starting and the rest would be a moot point.
I’m not blaming America for the attacks. But I am blaming America’s leaders for pursuing a policy of military occupation that enraged our former Taliban and Al Qaeda allies (remember, how they were “freedom fighters” against the Russians?).
We essentially did to Saudi Arabia what the Russians did to Afghanistan, but we thought the outcome would be different.
It wasn’t.
And we’re doing what Russia did to Afghanistan right now in Iraq.
How’s that working out?
“I’m not blaming America for the attacks.”
Sure.
Mike, where’d you go?
Using your own criteria, you would have to agree that Mayor Ray Nagin is a Republican-Nazi-Racist.
“I don’t care what people are saying Uptown or wherever they are. This city will be chocolate at the end of the day,” he said. “This city will be a majority African-American city. It’s the way God wants it to be.” Ray Nagin
Ray Nagin speaks for God? Guess so.I guess it’s not the taliban republicans that have a corner on God, huh?
You all really don’t get it. Back and forth with the name-calling, when the answer is right in front of you.
Birds of a feather flock together, and that is nature’s freedom as well as human freedom.
We pick our friends, not the government, and those groups which form in a natural way, also form in a peaceful way.
The lesson is not forced or calculated “diversity,” but groups or neighborhoods which form naturally, by people who like each other.
Certainly not manipulated by government or others who have an agenda.
That’s trouble brewing, and the opposite of the American dream.
Why is it that people of mixed race always identify as a minority? Is it for the affirmative action and other goodies? Or, is it a matter of self loathing? Color me confused.
That was one of the more disgusting posts I have read lately, Mr. Slaughter.
The question is legit! I have noticed that people of mixed race almost always identify as a minority rather than as a person of mixed race, and I wanted to know why, simple!
Because the Caucasian gene is recessive and the African American gene is dominate and therefore they look black. The same goes for Asian or Native American genes.
It certainly has NOTHING to do with self-loathing.
That comment was disgusting.
Wow, there sure are a lot of politically correct, touchy feely liberals on this forum.
“Or, is it a matter of self loathing?”
Blow it out your fleetwood, Mr. Slaughter
There seems to be a lot of Nazi trash blowing stinking up the place tonight.
You bigoted racists really need to get off fueling the “race kick” that’s all you want to talk or parse about.
Trying to “engineer Society” won’t ever work as much as the Zionists so desperately want it to tear down American freedom and serve as a “name call” for those who disapprove of Zionist’s behaviour.
That leaves them their “subject changing labeling of anti-Semitic,” which you all don’t seem to be able to understand what they’re really doing and why.
People are not the same, as some have have the wherewithal to build atomic bombs and others lack having even invented the wheel.
The lesser of us need not be scorned, hated or demeaned, but should also not be used as a tool to bring the rest of us down to that level.
The Zionists, and those they’ve so beguiled, would rather keep the progress they’ve made in perpetuated hatred between races and intellectual levels, as that serves their agenda of putting Blacks in jail and Whites as super rich { along with themselves of course.
There is a better way, but it’s not even “on the table.”
Zionists, anti-zionists, horst wessell, nazis, cultural marxists, it’s like a convention in here, just crazy!
Interesting, libs want to crucify Bush for taking action, albeit the wrong action, but defend Clinton when he did nothing at all to prevent 911. (you can’t count lobbing three misguided cruise missles at outdoor privies as action.)
