Kucinich tilting at Cheney windmill

Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, presented articles of impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney Tuesday . "I believe the vice president’s conduct of office has been destructive to the founding purposes of our nation," he said. The articles state that the vice president deceived the American people and subverted the national security interests of the United States.
So why go after Cheney instead of President Bush? Kucinich said that he wouldn’t want to see Cheney become president if Bush were removed from office.
In any case, Kucinich’s quest doesn’t have the backing of his colleagues in Congress.
Meanwhile, Vermont state senators voted last week to call for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney.

If you havent checked out the rude one lately, you need to. He’s had tech difficulties recently, but he’s still dead on funny. And still profane, so if you dont like bad words, dont click.

Anyway, he quoted Harry Reid’s response to dead eye dick’s recent attack dog frothing. He said something like “I dont get into name calling with someone who has a NINE percent approval rating.

    hehehehheh.

Reid has the right. Just tell it like it is. Bushco HATES that.

It would still be premature to impeach but with a number of GOP senators having their doubts about BushCo it might be getting closer.

Dennis Kucinich as other Democrats are guilty of committing treason. Not because they want impeachment but because of the incentive they are providing to Islamofacists. Kucinich, Reid and others should be removed from office by any means necessary.

    Does that include violence, John?

Does the First Amendment not apply to any speech or action that provides “incentive” to Islamofascists”? Who determines what actions those are, because personally, I think it has been the invasion of Iraq has been an Allahsend for Islamist extremists (not Muslims, Islamists).

. . . And bushco is not? Your logic is as misplaced as the concept with which the war in Iraq is raging. In the first place, Saddam, regardless of how bad he was, did NOT attack us. That was Al-Quida, which was operating out of Afghanistan. Saddam and Al-Quida did not get along, and there were NO Al-Quida cells operating in Iraq when we invaded.

There are Al-Quida cells operating in Iraq now, due to the fact they think American soldiers are easy pickings, and they like to kill Americans.

The whole war in Iraq is based on lies perpetrated by bushco with intelligence that was made to look like Iraq was a threat to America. Funny how that turned out not to be the case, isn’t it. Or are you still one of the neo-cons who sings the rush-coulter tune that anybody against the war is an “Islamofacist” lover.

Talk about dividing a country; you morons take the cake.

All I can say is Rock On Dennis Kucinich! While this may stand no chance of actually working, I hope that at the very least it makes it out of committee, because I believe the American people deserve to here the evidence.

Dennis Kucinich won’t be elected president. That’s because he’s spouting “inconveneient truths”. Don’t listen to him, because truth is really unpleasant. Delusion is much more comfortable. For now. Maybe not for our children and grandchildren, but screw them.

    john winthrop,

“Any means necessary?” Really. Including violence, john winthop? Just what one expects from a cowardly fascist such as yourself.

At the next WeBlog meetup, john winthrop, CF2K the registered Democrat looks forward to you calling him a traitor to his face. Because CF2K will proceed to verbally dismantle you and turn you out like the GOP whore you are.

Democrats need to continue reminding individual Republicans EVER DAY that the blood of Americans being killed in Iraq is staining their hands because they have yet to repudiate their leader Bush. Iraqis are no longer killing Americans…Republicans sitting in the plush comfort of their homes are setting off the bombs with their “we can’t admit we made a mistake” complacency.

With Rice being supoeaned, and Gooding going to get immunity to compel her testify before congress, impeachment moves relentlessly closer for the Bush Monkey. Won’t be long and the whole country will be demanding it. If more lies are laid bare, Roberts better be copping an immunity deal from Bush Co.

Just read Rep. Kucinich’s Articles of Impeachment against Dick Cheney. Good stuff. Sic Semper Tyrannis and all that.

By the way, did anybody else see the Bush skit on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson last night, much less the video clip of Bush with the African dancers? Mazel Tov. That’s why Cheney’s the one being impeached: he’s the only person in the Administration anyone can take semi-seriously anymore.
