It must depend on the definition of ‘candid’

“Something’s got to give” is the sentiment around Washington, columnist David Ignatius wrote. He quoted one Republican senator who said, “This is the most incompetent White House I’ve seen since I came to Washington.”
President Bush’s summation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales’ recent testimony as a “very candid assessment” had to make even his most loyal followers cringe. The stubbornness exhibited by Bush appears to be exasperating government officials and lawmakers, no matter what their party affiliation.

    Stubborn is not a virtue when combined with stupid!

    Sooner or later you all will come around to what I’ve been saying all along: “Bush is not in his right mind.”

    And that’s the only explanation which makes sense out of everything you’ve been saying.

    Bluntly: He’s crazy.

    What’s the point of this article?That the intern doesn’t care for Bush? We already knew that.

    And what is the point of your comment fleettwood? I already know you don’t like anyone who has an opinion opposite of yours. Thank God the Eagle gives people a forum where “all of us” can editorialise.

    Bush is noted for putting a positive spin on everything and not taking well anything that is negative in any report or reaction. He insist on total loyalty and gives it without reason to the point of being blind to any down falls. Any other President would have gotten rid of Rumsfield like dropping a hot horse shoe. BUt when ever someone even the likes of Rice or Powell complained he would just tell them to talk to Rummy or you have to work with Rummy. Gonzales is no different, he is one of Bush’s yes men a virtue Bush hold higher then intelligence, experience or skill.

    In Bush’s mind, if you say something it automatically becomes the truth. That’s why he became evangelical and thinks that the Jews are for real.

    Easy example: Who can’t see through Cheney? { the architect of the New World Order? }

    There is no doubt that Bush is the dumbest idiot we have ever had in the White House. Even more dumb than Dan Quail was. The man is not even in the realm of Planet Earth anymore. He reminds me of the fried egg commercial where the man says “this is your brain on drugs”.

    Does Bush enjoy ‘mugging’ for the cameras, or does he use these expressions all the time?
