Tiahrt is yesterday's news. He is far to partisan to work in any kine of bipartisan coalition for the good of Kansas. NE Kansas will benefit because they have representatives who can be effective; south-central and western Kansas will be left out.

Interesting that Tiarht's ranking has dropped but yet if this was a stock that was dropping, you bet these same Republicans defending Todd, would sell him in a heartbeat.

Given all the scandals and crimes and improper activity going on in the last Republican-controlled Congress, Tiahrt is probably quietly and quickly running away from the "13th-most-powerful" designation. At least, if he's smart, he is.

Oh wait...

Why do I feel this was like a J.D. Powers and Associates market value on a car?

Despite the Democratic Parties rantings, Tiahrt continues to provide powerful D.C. influence for the State of Kansas and his Congressional District constituents.

He is quiet on the national news for sure. But I would rather have a quiet performance of a hard worker than a loud-mouth, blame everybody, do nothing Democrat like some states push in to Congress.

Notice too that Dennis Moore, with MUCH LESS SENIORITY, is very close to Tiahrt.

Interesting that Senator Brownback is in the bottom 25% of the 100 member U.S. Senate after ten years in the Senate. By the time he finishes his current term in three years and his self-imposed deadline to move on, he could very well be at the bottom of the heap.

On the other hand, after only about three months in the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Boyda is a little lower than the 50% point (#242 of 435).

So much for Brownback's chances at being a viable candidate for President.

Sure Paul - but look at his trend. Dropping from 40 to 170. Maybe we need someone who will rise?

I don't recall you thinking that way when Glickman was in office!
