A recent Bloomberg poll finds that those Americans who make the most money are most likely to approve of President Bush’s handling of Iraq, the economy and his job generally — though even that crowd is wavering. Meanwhile, a surprising 83 percent of high earners think most CEOs are overpaid (so do 86 percent of the general public).

Rhonda,
Is this thread about Bush or high paid CEO’s???
This poll identifies “wealthy” people as making $100,000 per year. That’s wealthy?A wealthy household makes $100,000 per year. Hogwash. That’s two people making $50,000 each. Hardly wealthy.I don’t think CEO’s are overpaid or athletes either. I don’t care. If people paid more attention to their own business….
$100,000 HH is very much middle class in the most populated areas of the country.
$100,000 will just about take care of the animal feed and vet bills at my house……
Hank
The Clintons are wealthy, Al Gore is Wealthy, Kerry is wealthy, Edwards is Wealthy…
Let’s see…
Senators and House members are paid an annual salary of $154,700. Members of the House and Senate leadership are paid $171,900 annually.
Who is in the majority now in Congress?
And do all these wealthy Democrats love Bush? :)
I could go on with the Wealth Democrat list but…
Hollywood Liberals…Soros..blah blah blah blah blah…
Bush makes me wealthy
The high wage earners and the self loathing middle and lower earners approve of GWB!
Little surprise here. Only the greedy or the stupid can find ANYTHING to like about bush.
You bushbots can figure out for yourselves which label to wear!
Oh and Hank? A remark like that? Sometimes I wish some of the “upper class” would get some.
“Only the greedy…”
Pleased to wondering what you think “greedy” means?
Well J R,
It would be more, but we’ve cut a deal with the large animal vet.
And class? You are my model!
Hank
CEO is just a fancy classification for Referee. They do not play the game; they pay those beneath them to think for them and take all the credits when credit is to be had and leave their eunuch’s the crucifixions.
An individual making $100K a year is pretty “well off” but not weathly. A couple making that as a combined income is just lower middle class.
Is anybody surprised that the rich like Bush? Of course they do! He has given them Carte Blanche to rape the country and cut their taxes by a trillion or so dollars. As I have always said- there are only 2 kinds of Republicans- the RICH and the STUPID- take your choice.
“$100,000 will just about take care of the animal feed and vet bills at my house……
Hank”
Hank if you ever need another “Dog”…
Rich or poor, Bush is an idiot!
Well said, Gina. I think I love you!
I live in a trailer house.I got me 5 kids and we all live on welfare. I want a job at WalMart but it don’t pay much.I love george Bush so I will be rich to maybe someday.I vote for Bush so I will be Rich 2 sooon.I don’t like democrates cause the want clean air it cost to much.We in Iraq so they can be free like me.I love george Bush.
Well speaking from personal experience, if I was making $100,000 a year I would consider myself wealthy. I would have money to do whatever I wanted when I wanted it.
yeah Bush sucks..
I would have liked him if he got rid of the distribution of wealth tax code..
$100K per annum is middle class? Maybe next to Bill Gates, but if I were making anything near that I’d consider myself very well off!
