		<description>Uh, freedom freak, if you are saying the UE is paid for out of employee wages, you are incorrect; under both Federal and Kansas law, the contributions to the UE funds are made by the employer, and not to be withheld from employee wages. Point of knowledge: FUTA tax is paid by the employer on the first $7000 of each employee&#039;s wages; in Kansas, it is paid on the first $8000 of each employee&#039;s wages. The rate, at the federal level for Kansas employers, is 0.8%; in Kansas, it depends upon the experience rating assigned to the employer. The lowest is .06%.
