F-word doesn’t mean Cheney is nuts

"Good God, by that standard, I should long ago have been committed and the entire borough of Brooklyn quarantined."
– Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer on an article in the New Republic claiming Vice President Dick Cheney’s use of the F-word in an exchange three years ago with Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., is an example of how Cheney’s circulatory problems are affecting his brain.

Well Phillip, there must be a lot of brain impairment here on the WE Blog on the Left as there are quite a few that use the “F” word or a variation of it on a regular basis.

Could it be they all have circulatory problems and all the problems that go with it?

Maybe they should call up Bob Dole and ask for a pharmacy referral on getting their bonus parts back in circulation, so to speak. :)

Republican this is something only Phillip would think blog worthy. We have a lot of very sick people on this blog since that is the only work some of them know how to use when angry. I guess I would have to say he is in ‘good’ company.

And what exactly is wrong with dropping the F bomb every now and then. It is just a word. People make too much of a deal out of this.

Commie bastards! This from the article Krauthammer wrote commenting on the Lib column in the New Republic.

“If there’s a diagnosis to be made here, it is this: yet another case of the one other syndrome I have been credited with identifying, a condition that addles the brain of otherwise normal journalists and can strike without warning — Bush Derangement Syndrome, Cheney Variant.”

1 swear word 3 years ago…and it is still news?

Granted, it was not proper or fitting to be vulgar in the US Senate…

Wayreth tries to downplay it by saying, “It is just a word. People make too much of a deal out of it.”

Cussing can grow into a bad habit, if you do not discipline yourself. You might find yourself in an embarrassing moment without realizing it.You can also alienate groups’ of people at the same time. The next time you apply for a job, at your job interview try cussing to see if you can get in the edge above everyone else. The first impression will do you wonders.

I had this argument several time with my oldest son after he turned fifteen.”Its just a word”"There is a time and place forit. But not in everydayconversation”“But it is just a word dad”“Ok, let me put it this way, the next time you use it in front of your mother I will take you downand shove a bar of soap in your mouth!”Ok dad, I see your point!”

If Cheney had said it to a group of girl scouts, I would have been offended, another adult to stress a point is another thing all together. One of the things that get me about both sides is when a minor point is stressed over and over.It is a sign that the person that is making a big deal out of something really has nothing else to defend their position. To be fair, when the Republican Rep made a point to ask Plame’s political party affiliation. It was a low point to me in the proceedings. If he wished to call her a liar, call her a liar but to just make a point of her being a Democrat just meant he had nothing else to use.

Cheney isn’t physically sick. Mentally sick is more like it. The man is the definition of evil.

Heh heh these bastards came to office when my son was about 5 or 6. Once my son asked me what the boogy man looked like.

My son has grown up cosidering Dick Cheney the boogy man. Of course he is older now and has been taught stronger language. What he says about Cheney now would be censored here!

My thought is that the F word or any really strong cuss word should be used very sparingly. If/When you use the F word, it should be shocking to those that know you and they realize you have very strong feelings about the situation. Anything you overuse loses it’s shock value. And for those whom the F word has become their most common noun, verb, adjective, adverb and exclamation, it shows a lack of imagination or poor vocabulary.

There are also times when it is absolutely inappropriate to cuss. For me, dropping the F-word on the Senate floor would be one of those times.

No wiseman, but I had to break him of saying “What ever” and throwing his hand up in front of me. When ever I said anything about his actions. After telling him that I found the practice highly offensive and totally dismissive to me. The head came the morning I was awoke to a pounding on the front door and alot of crying. I got up and open the door to found his younger brother standing in the snow and ice in his underwear. Locked out in the cold, his older brother had grabbed him on the way to the bathroom and shoved him out the door and locked it. Then went back down stair to get ready to go to school.I went down to Mike’s room and confronted him about the matter, only to have him throw his hand up in front of my face, rolling his eye toward the ceiling and say “What ever!”.

Yeah…. last time he did that! A few times afterwards he caught himself starting to repeat the mistake. But only got out “Wha..” then stopped!LOL the old parent curse was in full effect, “May one day you have a child just like your self!”.My dad and I day came one day while driving down West street, he was lecturing me about something and I started singing “Sunshine go away today”. I was fifteen and we were in the inside lane, when I got to the part about “He can’t even run his own life, I’ll be damn if he’ll run mine!”. Suddenly I “kissed” the windshield after he planted both feet on the brakes and shouted “YOU BETTER JUST SHUT THE FOOK UP!”.

I had finally found the line that a otherwise gentle and caring father would draw. Much like the day I was awoke to the pounding on the front door.

Having kids can be very frustrating at times. When they are 15 to 18 years of age, they will pose themselves as if they know everything there is to know and think they know more then what their parents know. Then they move out and discover the world. When they hit their 20’s, they will sometimes want to move back into their parent’s home with their tail tucked in between their legs and will be looking for your guidance, acting like they do not know anything at all, or still stay out on their own but they will come back.Hang in there and remember with your love for them today they will always love you now and in the future forever more.

Krauthammer is an unprofessional, right-wing hack with ZERO credibility.

For example, he falsely attacked Howard Dean, and claimed Barbara Streisand said something she did not.

The WaPo printed a letter criticizing Krauthammer,http://www.dailyhowler.com/dh122203.shtml

And Krauthammer attacked Gore re his accurate claim that the RNC influences MSM.

‘No one said Boo about Gore’s remark. Then, the RNC spin-points arrived:’http://www.dailyhowler.com/dh120302.shtml“KRAUTHAMMER: Crying for help, you know. (LAUGHTER) I’m a psychiatrist. I don’t usually practice on camera. But this is the edge of looniness, …”
