A former Navy attorney who helped lead the military investigation of the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty that killed 34 American servicemen says former President Lyndon Johnson and his defense secretary, Robert McNamara, ordered that the inquiry conclude the incident was an accident.

In a signed affidavit released at a Capitol Hill news conference, retired Capt. Ward Boston said Johnson and McNamara told those heading the Navy’s inquiry to “conclude that the attack was a case of ‘mistaken identity’ despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.”

It was “one of the classic all-American cover-ups,” said retired Admiral Thomas Moorer, a former Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman who spent a year investigating the attack as part of an independent panel he formed with other former military officials. The panel also included a former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, James Akins.“Why would our government put Israel’s interests ahead of our own?” Moorer asked from his wheelchair at the news conference. He was chief of naval operations at the time of the attack.

Moorer, who has long held that the attack was a deliberate act, wants Congress to investigate.

“From beginning to end, public education is organized on the concept of compulsion. By means of the property tax, sales tax and state income tax people are forced to pay for schooling whether they have children or not, whether they agree with what the schools are doing or not. The illusion of having influence through elections, PTA meetings, parent nights, or other legal avenues doesn’t change the truth: we are forced to send our children to particular schools where they are educated and indoctrinated in a particular way.”

Wow, bias boy sure has his whine on today, no?

Wasssa matter little boy, you gonna hold your breath and stomp your feet until we agree with you? Until we all, in a very sheep like manner, do as you say? Believe what you believe? Drink the kookaide right along with you?

Those mean ol’ wibberals. Imagine, they have the audacity to disagree, make fun of, and generally point out that the emperor has no clothes.

Funny, the only people I have heard talk about dungy’s religious pronouncements have been the righties. No one on the “secular” side has complained much that I know of.

But the righties like brentie NEVER miss an opportunity to preemptively whine about some perceived slight that hasnt YET occurred, if it ever does.

“Waaaaaaa. Mommy, they MIGHT be mean to me” heheheheheheheheheheh

Of course, in true persecuted majority tradition, “being mean to me” translates into “they dont agree with me”.

Does posting the same s*** over and over give you some illusion that you’re making a difference?

The vast majority of Americans like the concept of public schools and support it with their tax dollars.

The ones that don’t are in no way “forced” to send their children to public school.

You’re proving that a lot of dummies also graduate from home-parochial school too.

And women will go to THOSE states for abortions.

Unless you talibaners want to ban interstate travel?

So, if kansas proves itself to be even farther out of mainstream america than SOUTH DAKOTA, and the kansas taliban manages to make abortion a dirty back alley affair AGAIN…

truly fleetwood you are a capitalist imbecile no wonder we won the cold war

Sanford and Son starred Redd Foxx as Fred G. Sanford, a junk dealer in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles. Demond Wilson starred as his son Lamont, a 31-year-old (when the series began) who still lived at home. Although Fred loved Lamont, he often called him “dummy”, and frequently threatened to give him “one across the lip”.

Redd Foxx, whose real name was John Elroy Sanford (with his father and brother named Frederick), was arguably the genius of the show, playing Sanford as a sarcastic, stubborn, and argumentative antiques and junk dealer, whose frequent money-making schemes routinely backfired and created more troubles. Lamont dearly would have liked to enjoy independence but loved his father too much to leave him to his devices and schemes. Although each owned an equal share in the business and technically Fred was the boss, Lamont often found himself doing all the work and having to order his father to complete tasks and duties.

On the show’s premiere in 1972, newspaper ads touted Foxx as NBC’s answer to Archie Bunker, the bigoted white protagonist of All in the Family.

The question that now hangs over the president and the vice president is whether they lied to special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald—the same crime for which their fall guy, Scooter, now faces possible imprisonment. According to published reports, the special counsel interviewed both Bush and Cheney during the summer of 2004. The only way for them to dispel the suspicion that they may have lied to him is to permit full disclosure of those interviews.

Doubts about the candor of Bush and Cheney date all the way back to September 2003, before the appointment of the special counsel, when the president supposedly declared his sincere determination to “get to the bottom of this.”

By “this” he meant the apparent conspiracy among administration officials to reveal that Wilson was an undercover CIA officer in an effort to discredit her husband, Joseph C. Wilson IV. A former U.S. ambassador and national security official, he had incurred the wrath of the Bush White House by revealing what he knew about the dubious justifications for invading Iraq.

“There’s been nothing—absolutely nothing—brought to our attention to suggest any White House involvement,” said Scott McClellan, then the presidential press secretary, in attempting to cover Karl Rove and the rest of the White House staff with a blanket exoneration.

They are paying extraordinary wages (compared to Kansas.) The downside is that it is hard to find a place to live. Places like McDonalds pay 8-10 dollars/hour to start. A finish carpenter can earn 25 dollars/hour and up. A construction site unskilled laborer/gopher can earn 12-15dollars/hour. Anywhere along the Miss. coastline is a good place to look or content one of the employment agencies or employers. Some places are more dismal in landscape than others, but hey if want some extra cash in your pocket because you can’t find work in Kansas, this is the place to be. Cya all.

    Here are your lies:

I have yet to find any WMDs, any programs to create WMDs, or any “Al Qaeda” links, Fleet. THOSE were the reasons we, as a nation, were given and got behind to invade Iraq. The intelligence reports those assertions and accusations were based on were from single-sourced, previously untested sources. This means the intelligence was HUMINT (human intelligence), the information was only supplied by one source (this means no other intelligence sources independently confirmed the subject matter of the report), and “previously untested” means the source had never been used before.I can tell you that the intelligence community does not take single-source info from untested sources seriously. The information is just filed away unless some other intel supports or verifies it. THEN it would be taken seriously. So my point is, the intelligence was flawed, THEY (DOD, White House, State Department, etc…) KNEW IT WAS FLAWED. But they went ahead and preached it anyway. Why? Why? Why? There is a lot of speculation about it, and we may never know for sure. But the fact is we were deliberately dooped. And people have died (hundreds of thousands)… so that statement is fact.

Tell me, Heck, what would Russert’s motivation be to lie about the conversation with Scooby Libby?

And don’t try the “left wing media” routine – Russert is greatly distrusted by the Left.

Heckie, really patiently explaining to you now….

The “left” does not like timmeh

    We do not like tweety

They are YOUR guys. You wanna turn on them? Fine. We dont care if timmeh, er, punkin’ head, twists in the wind with no friends. Like so many of your other heros when then dont lie the lies for you.

So, you think libby will be aquited?

Wanna take the capn up on his $5000 bet?

Wanna make one that he will not be convicted?

If timmeh’s testimony is the GOOD part of libby’s trial, this is going to be one terrific spring!

Got the statement from the link above. It is NOT verbatim, it is a recount from a blogger at the trial(as stated in the story I linked to).

When have you ever heard me praise Russert?? Put away the broad brush.

Yes I think Libby will be aquitted, and no, I can’t afford to put $5000 on what a DC jury will say.

Fitzgerald is going to come out of this looking like a dick. He knew when he started the case that no crime had been committed, he just went fishing for a perjury or obstruction charge. He’s gonna end up with a big fat ZERO on his report card.

Even without Mr. Russert’s testimony (by the way, it is my understanding that cross is really just getting going today), it appears from what is in the media a prima facie case for perjury may well have been made by the prosecution; the defense case should be interesting.

Well, heckler, maybe so; but I’ve been looking at the transcripts of the grand jury tapes, inter alia, in arriving at the conclusion that as of this time, there is a prima facie case established. Didn’t say that there would be a conviction, once all is said and done; just that right now, a prima facie case exists.

I’ve seen Hank refer to Nathan on this blog as his “boy,” so if you’re going to harp about using that term, it’s weak.

Most people from the era would naturally think of the show Sanford & Son when they see the name Sanford. It’s a logical jump. And unless you have a problem with garbage collectors or junk dealers (the majority of us use the services of the first), then that isn’t an insult.

Actually, many “white” people have it as both the first or last name.

If Sanford is going to be touchy about jokes regarding his chosen nic, perhaps he should change it. Fleetwood caught on and changed from hotlick, although it didn’t help much. (Doing a LOL here, Fleet, but not at you. It was worth a try.)

To be honest, Sanford shouldn’t have posted his personal attack on KFG, unless he was prepared to receive attacks on himself.

    That’s the blog world, folks.

(Could Sanford be Eier, and forgot to get that skin thickened before returning under a different nic? Nahhhh, probably not.)

    The Truth,

It appears no one has answered your question. I’ll jump in.

I’m pro-choice. Note that I did not say pro-abortion. I would probably not have an abortion, but it could depend on the circumstances. I would be saddened if a member of my family chose to have one for anything other than if her life was endangered by pregnancy and/or birth. I don’t think it should be used as a method of birth control.

BUT (and that’s the important word), I disagree with a lot of things other people do that I never would. At the same time, I don’t feel I have the right to tell someone else what they can and can’t do in many cases. This includes abortion.

I live MY life, not someone else’s. I’m responsible for MY soul, not someone else’s. I would encourage someone considering abortion to give good hard thought to the alternatives. In the end, it’s her decision, not mine. She has to live with whatever her decision is. And even if she eventually felt it was the wrong one, I wouldn’t shame her.

Just about as telling as bias baby tell us jesus is a republican, but he is kinda just kidding.

And bloggers wanna bitch about Randy and Rhonda? When REPUBLICAN VALUES boy is on the editorial page, alone, with no counter point?

JM,Do you know if there are any tree cutting jobs down there? I have an online friend who moved from Michigan to Florida, but the jobs there are dwindling, so I’m curious.

Did you draw that pic? Cool beans, if ya did. I never could draw, but graphics programs have given me an outlet.

Sorry to hear you’re banned, if indeed you are. It’s no fun if there isn’t anyone to fight with. *grin*

Here is a tip JM. Technical idiocy does not equal being banned.

But isn’t it interesting how many of the trolls disappear and reappear based on who is posting at the time.

I promise that GSheridan though is NOT a troll, god I’ve been battling her forever.

And I really do post on the Salina Journal under the name ‘political mama’ so if you don’t believe me please go check it out- it’s the ID i’ve used there since 2004.

The reason I switched to politicalmom was when I joined the kansas.com message boards, the log in was too short to allow ‘mama’.

I have to say, reading the posts today have been mucho entertaining. LOL.

I’ve long suspected GSheridan must have some ties to oil, she either gets money from them through stocks or owns some wells. She fights tooth and nail over alternative fuels, encourages use of oil only.

    Hi RD,

There appear to be tree-cutting jobs down there, as I see a lot of chain saws and splitting equipment. I think I recall the City of Biloxi hiring, but have no idea what the job includes or what the pay is. Lot of the crews that cut the wood seem to do it associated with a construction contractor. There is a lot of ancillary duties that go along with it as there is a bunch of junk wrapped up in the trees and around it.

Yes, I drew that pic in a Vector program, it’s quite fun for a hobby. I’ll do a self portrait when I finish up what I’m working on now. So everyone can see the sasquatch. heh

It is sad about Anna Nicole, but the woman has seemed like she’s been zoned out on some drug for a long time. It could also be related to her diet pill use.Could be bulemia or a combination of any of the above.

The heart problems associated with diet pills are sudden cardiac death, mitral valve prolapse. Mitral valve prolapse is something millions of women have with symptoms that go undiagnosed for years.

No KFG, I haven’t met her. The funny thing is she knows what my family looks like, she could literally walk up to me in our local store and start a conversation and I’d have no idea who she was.

I do know where she lives, and that is the only reason why I know she’s for real. I drive by her house all the time.

I even called her house once (for a move-on thing how funny is that). But she wasn’t there. ( I told her I was going to do it- so she might have been avoiding me).

She demands her privacy and I must respect that, some have suggested that she’s not who she tells me she is, but I doubt that. Behind the scenes we discuss a lot and I know whoever it is that lives in that house is the same person who emails me and writes on the blog.

So love her or hate her, the only thing I can verify is that she isn’t a troll and she’s who she says she is.

Sen. Biden’s suggestion that the U.S. consider a “War on Terrorism” tax got me to thinking (not always a good sign). Why not?

The very first income tax in the history of the U.S. was imposed during the Civil War, intended to raise money to fight the war. IIRC, it was repealed some 8 years or so after the end of the Civil War.

With the ratification of the 16th Amendment in 1913, the income tax with which we are somewhat familiar was enacted. During WWI, an additional tax was enacted on “excess profits” to help pay for the costs of the war. Similarly, during WWII, there was an “excess profits” tax imposed to help pay for that war. Finally, such a tax was enacted to help fund the Korean War. Subsequently, no special tax has been enacted to fund any military actions, short or longer term, in which the U.S. has been involved.

We are told the “War on Terrorism” will be long-term; thus, should not there be an “excess profits” tax imposed upon those whose profits may be enhanced by contracts, etc. let for materiel and services necessary due to such a war. The tax, as I would envision it, would be imposed on those businesses on the differential of their profits after the GWOT was inititated, and those extant pre-”war”, and which entities contract with the federal government for war related goods and services. The pre-war profit level could be adjusted for annual inflation.

This, it seems to me, would allow for funds to be raised to help pay China back, together with provision of income needed to carry out the GWOT.

    Just my 2 cents.

Source of above historical information: my recollection of lectures, etc. in both income tax accounting classes and tax law classes.

“That’s why the White House needs to come out of its hole in the ground. The New York Times reported that Bush administration officials “asserted Friday that the United States had played a leading role in studying and combating climate change,” and quoted Energy Secretary Sam Bodman stating that “We are a small contributor to the overall, when you look at the rest of the world, so it’s really got to be a global solution.”

How stupid do they think we are? We’re five percent of the global population and contribute a quarter of all global warming pollution. This administration is fast-tracking dirty coal plants and has refused to limit CO2 emissions, let alone encourage conservation and efficiency measures that could reduce pollution and benefit our economy along the way.

No more words Mr. President. It’s time for action. Enough posturing, half measures and stalling. Enough token grants for further research. We know too much already not to have addressed this issue with every ounce of American ingenuity and leadership.

If you were told your children were in harms way, you would do something, you’d do everything necessary to protect them. Well, that time has come. A planetary emergency is upon us. We must absorb that warning, we must hear those words and we must act now.”

The link below is for P_Mom and all others with autism in their families:

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/conditions/02/08/autism.prevalence.ap/index.html

Study over 14 states suggests autism rate is an average of 1 in 150 children; the 14 states do not include CA, TX, and some other high-population states, so number is likely not indicative of actual national rate. Of the 14 states (or parts) studied, AL had lowest rate (perhaps due to limited access to Special Ed records); NJ the highest.

Rate shown by study much higher than had been believed.

Wow, look who’s calling the kettle black.

I was simply making the point that according to you, that if I have beliefs and they do not match up to yours, then my beliefs are wrong. I then pointed out how most of the left will not ALLOW someone to have beliefs, separate from theirs, without the left indicating that that person is a racist, homophobe, bigot, war monger, etc.

I pointed out that even if someone accepts homosexuality, has nothing against what 2 consenting ADULTS do in their own bedroom, STILL do not want gay marriage, for WHATEVER their beliefs. Then you came back with some dyatribe that I was someone with homosexual tendencies or fantasies or whatever. Again, making the point that I wondered if that was part of your beliefs and that maybe MINE might matter now. I pointed out how it is the minority that are wanting to make the majority wrong in everything. Again pointing out that the minority of child molesters or NAMBLA feel that it is THEIR right to do whatever they want, which is how the left seems to lean as in EVERYONE should be allowed to do whatever.I did not indict myself or try and indicate that pedophilia was okay.

I was pointing out the fact that at what point do we stop permitting the minority to control this country. If the minority (gays) want gay marriage and the majority OVERWHELMINGLY vote against gay marriage, how is it that the minority is allowed to be heard and the majority is declared, bigots, homophobics and racists.

My question to you is, how far are we going to let the minority push the majority before we either lose this country or take it back?

OH and by the way, in my VERY liberal state, it was passed that a 13 year old can get an abortion without parental notification AND the parent’s health insurance HAS to cover the cost. If this isn’t a very, very slippery slope, I don’t know what is.

VT correctly pointed out how much autism affects families now, if you have a pregnant friend, coworker, family member…that child could be next and desperately need services. It’s an equal opportunity disability.

So please, urge these committee members to pass this out of committee and onto the Senate floor for full debate.

This is exactly what I spoke of as to why committees were so important back after the election.

    ——–

Senate Bill 138The autism community in Kansas needs your help.

Senate Bill 138, the Autism Task Force Bill, is currently in the Senate Education Committee, and is scheduled to be voted on this Monday, February 12, 2007. If the bill does not pass out of committee on Monday, no further action can be taken on it this year.

Senate Bill 138 is a critical first step toward clarifying the scope and magnitude of the issues facing the autism community in Kansas, and legislative change to address the problems.

The Senate Education Committee members are Roger Pine, Janis Lee, Ruth Teichman, John Vratil (Vice Chair), Pat Apple, Chris Steineger, Jean Schodorf (Chair), Greta Goodwin, Carolyn McGinn, Ralph Ostmeyer and Barbara Allen.

I can point out another. My wife for instance. For those that don’t recall she is a liberal, and a very sweet person and her family as well, but I do love them all.

A couple of months ago, a person showed up at the door wanting to know if I wanted to talk about global warming. Since I could see that he had to be a college student, I knew there was no way he could keep up with me, so I didn’t even bother. However, as I always do when one of these yahoos shows up at the door, I called out to my wife to see if she wanted to talk to this guy. (I’m a very fair person) When my wife got to the door I asked her if she wanted to have a chat with “ol Al, here” I thought I was very funny. After that my wife said I was NOT funny and it was very rude.

A month later I am driving home listening to Michael Savage. I came home and told my wife how a caller had called in and told Savage about how he went to a bookstore and asked for Savage’s new book. The clerk at the book store said they didn’t have the book BUT they did have a copy of Mein Kamf available. My wife thought this was hilarious.

This of course is very typical of a liberal. If you are saying anything against the left YOU ARE WRONG, but if you say anything against a Republican, then YOU ARE RIGHT.

I of course pointed out the errors of her ways, suggesting that her response was the same as mine a month earlier, and that her response might be considered rude (as well as the clerk’s). She then realized that what I was saying was true.We still don’t talk politics very much, but she definately realizes that MY beliefs are mine, they may not be hers but they are NOT wrong, just different and vice versa.

I told you WS, I could give a rats behind about gays, gay marriage, whatever.

Alright, there is one thing. I am really, really finding it hard to believe that anyone could be interested in Barney Frank.

It is a matter of what the MAJORITY wants. You remember the majority who vote, that decides things.

I do not approve of 13 year olds having abortions without parental consent. But the majority has approved of it and made it law. Therefore, I have the choice of leaving this state, or go about trying to change the laws.

I have my beliefs, they are mine. Just because you may be okay with 13 year olds having abortions, fine. I will not stand here and tell you your beliefs are wrong and YOU have to live with them. I will not go around calling you a pervert, or child molester because you believe the law is correct or is what your beliefs tell you you should approve.

This still comes down to that because I believe the border laws should be enforced and ILLEGAL immigrants should not be allowed, does NOT mean I am a RACIST. These are my beliefs and they are NOT being forced on anyone, THEY ARE THE LAW, as the majority voted and approved. This means that I am a person who believes that the laws of the U.S. should be enforced, NOT a racist.

Come on WSClark explain how you won’t violate the rights of Phill and Todd who want to marry you.

    You keep avoiding the question.

You keep divorcing women must mean you don’t like women.

Stop denying your desire for man love WSClark, make a commitment and give Phill and Todd their due process and their Constitutional Rights to marry you.

Hey, Nutz, is it true that you look like a three hundred pound warthog like the folks that attended the WE Blog meet up said?

They also said that you had breath that could knock a jet fighter out of the sky.

    Is that true?

And they said that you “missed” that romantic meeting with your “wife” on your fifteenth wedding anniversary so that you could troll the WE Blg meet up.

    Is that true too?

Yep, it’s not surprising at all that DA has had multiple failures.

    WSClark,

Why do you keep failing at marriage with women? You can’t keep them satisfied?

Do they start realizing that your shortcoming is more real now that they weren’t drunk?

What about Phill and Todd? They want to offer you their man love, are you going to refuse the rights to marry you?

JM, is it true that the guy your wife left you for is a much bigger man than you?

Did it hurt when she said that you just didn’t measure up?

  247. JM
    Posted February 8, 2007 at 11:55 pm | Permalink

That’s what your two and half marriages said about you WSClark, you couldn’t measure up. That and you were probably beating on them.

Maybe you need a man like Phill or Todd to wrestle with. They won’t be concerned with your shortcoming, they’ll be operating on a different boundary.

Don’t deny their marriage rights WSClark they want you so much.

Note:DA perpetually regularly makes note and comparison of other men’s genitalia. In fact, he does this every freakin’ day.

    Holy obsession, Batman.

BTW – JM, I haven’t been married to twenty years – my choice – I no longer believe that marriage is a credible institution.

And the gay comments JM – you have now sunk below Elementary School level.

But just as an aside, Nutz. You always talk like you are this wonderful, studly specimen of manliness, but everyone that met you at the WE Blog meet said that you were this homely little pot-bellied man with horrible breath.

So who is correct? You or the rest of the entire world?

  250. JM

Yes I noticed WSClark obsession to other men’s genitalia. I really think he should marry Phill or Todd and grant them their Constitutional rights of marriage.

WSClark writes:”I no longer believe that marriage is a credible institution.”

Oh! so you do want to deny Phill and Todd their marriage rights!

How sad, you could have made a married couple show each other blissful love.

JM, are you hoping to graduate from Junior High School this year with Golf Nutz, or are they going to hold you back, again, for another year?

    Posted February 9, 2007 at 12:09 am | Permalink

Oh now WSClark you know what my degrees are in as I told them many times.

Now stop avoiding the issue about your obsession with men’s genitalia.

You’ve mentioned it several times tonite, did you have any fantasies about it?

Now about those marriage rights which you know longer believe in.

This means your stance on gay marriage is not what you really meant is it.

You just want to live with Phill or Todd and not marry them because you no longer believe in marriage.

I hope you and the Nutz Troll have a great night, JM.

Actually, I thought you said you were going away, never to return, but whatever.

Anyway, accusing an adult man of being a homosexual is really juvenile, JM. Even Jr. High School students don’t do that anymore. They accuse each other of being Republicans.

Sorry if I offended your delicate sensibilities when I accused you of having a wife that left you for a younger man that knew the bed posts better than you, but you asked for it.

Anyway, you and the Nut have a great time tonight.

I’ll be here tomorrow or Saturday to kick you ass, er, express my opinion.

BTW – JM, is Golf Nutz really so ugly that people puke on sight?

Kick my ass? Is that a personal threat?

Better bring a step ladder then, you might not be able to measure up.

KSGolfnut? I never met the man. I hear he has a beard. Is that your objection?

You know Todd and Phill are clean shaven, this may be more what you had in mind when it comes to companionship.

You know since you divorced so many times I understand your failure with women has led you to be attractive more to men.

Maybe if you ask KSGolfnut, he will send you a photograph and you can contemplate your next approach. You send peculiarly obsessed on what he looks like.

My goodness! After scrolling this thread this fine AM, I was shocked by Ksfarmgirl’s meltdown here yesterday.

    Talk about ‘over the top.’

Out of curiosity, I set my page to ‘find’ all her posts – 71, in all, just on this thread – over 100 total yesterday. Was she in a ‘manic’ phase?

I was stunned by her usage of vulgarity and intense personal attacks.

She elsewhere mentioned yesterday was a ‘day off’ for her.

Now I’m wondering – from what? Solitary confinement?

GS,She’s a lunatic. She’s clearly insecure about her lesbianism (note all the jokes and repeated sexual reference) and her looks.

I’m willing to bet she produced more sweat during online rampage than I did on the elliptical at the gym last night.

    Oh, this is classic!

Note how many posts GS has this morning on the new open thread, and she’s the one complaining about someone who doesn’t post here on a daily basis the way she does.

It’s pretty obvious GS isn’t familiar with KFG or she’d know a meltdown when she saw one.

Don’t like the heat? Stay out of the kitchen…or blog.

So I see nutz does NOT know me.

    I dont smoke.

And I am willing to bet on the sweat thing.

How far can you walk, or maybe lumber, before YOU break into a sweat big guy?

I am sure the ladies find that ever so attractive. Must be why you are always on the chase.

Funny, we hear a lot about your “chases” but we hear NOTHING about your catches.

You must be like a dog that chases cars.

You wouldnt know what to do with it if you CAUGHT one.

Not that you ever would. I bet the reach of your legendary breath exceeds the short grasp of your chubby and stubby little….

Check out the thread where she claims she beat me. Total fabrication. She got busted in a number of lies – and started screaming like a wild hyena from the rooftops.
