Does state GOP want to win?

After getting pounded by the state’s minority party two gubernatorial elections in a row, the Kansas Republican Party might have sought a new leader likely to unify right and middle. Maybe Kris Kobach of Kansas City, Kan., who was elected state chairman Saturday in Topeka, will turn out to be that guy. But so far the law professor and unsuccessful candidate for Congress has been defined by his intemperate words on illegal immigration, eminent domain and the Kansas Supreme Court.

Turns out that Presidential SpokesLIAR Ari fLIEscher said under oath that Libby told him about Plame just days before the leak.

Those of you that think Kansans hate Brownback…

Last night on the Ch12 local news at 10, they showed some quick poll numbers of how Sammy would do in presidential races vs. Hillary, Gore, Edwards…

He beats them all. I don’t recall the percentages, but none of them were close at all – maybe 55-45 in one or two of them.

Dims, you still have plenty of work to do if you think Kansas is turning blue.

Being anti-abortion doesn’t make him “like Phill Kline”. Kline self-destructed. Sammy is much brighter.

My kid had a stellar weekend in Salina: 7 events and 6 new personal best times. And she’s already statistically in the top 2.5% of all swimmers nationally in her age group.

THEN, this weekend in Wichita, she swam 10 event and got 8 new personal bests.

AND, she swam an unbelieveable anchor leg on her relay team – coming from 2 seconds behind to win by .01 sec. It was outstanding.

As for Wollen and the rest of that pack of losers, check their funding and then also check who their members donated to and I’m betting it’s heavily Democrat in both cases.

If they’re such a “Majority” why can’t they even control one district of their alleged party?

Proving again that Sebelius has no coattails down ballot, except for Paul Morrison.

So… what’s the gop legislature going to do about water?

They could set themselves up to win back cedar crest if they actually provided the leadership the state isnt getting from “governor leadership”

And we saw how well doug’s strategy of “do nothing-blame sebeius” worked for them in 06.

One of the most important outcomes of the 2008 election needs to be the removal of Pilshaw from office.

This judge was voted as one of the very worst judges of the 18th by hundreds of her legal peers.

The Republicans need to get busy and it would be great if they would bring a female to the election fray in 2008 to replace this judge.

Sedgwick County and our country at large need closure to Pilshaw’s court and antics.
