I’ve never called the opinion line or cared what people say on it. Haven’t clicked the link to hear the messages either.

Typed mental blasting is probably more reasonably thought out when fingers are doing the talking.

Sometimes people say I’m talking outloud while words are being typed.

    Nope don’t call it.

Don’t call it either; however, reading it is a source of amusement for my daughters (and son-in-law) when they are home from school for holidays.

I find some of the most incredible uses of “logic” and “reasoning” that I have ever seen! And they most likely vote! One can only wonder for whom and why.

I don’t call, but believe that every angry caller is from a leftist.

    Do these sound like leftists?

If Gen. George S. Patton Jr. were here, the Iraq war would have been over years ago and bin Laden would be dead.

It’s too bad John Bolton is stepping down as U.N. ambassador. He may be abrasive, but he has been very protective of American rights. Let’s hope that he isn’t replaced with a globalist who wants to give our country away.

Now that John Bolton has been forced out as our ambassador to the United Nations because he fought for the interest of our country, I expect the Democrats to push to have a girly-man put in his place.

And then there were those audio recording of people talking about the “n” word. But, I forget, in Joe’s mind, the democrats are the racist party. So, he is being consistent(ly wrong).

Those audio recordings were kind of disturbing in a way. Those folks sounded as ignorant as you might imagine they would.

Listening to those recordings helped me understand how Mark McCormick’s stories about getting hate mail/messages would be entirely possible.

I never have called the opinion line, but I do enjoy reading the comments in the paper, some are really witty and funny.

I suppose if I were starved for conversation with myself, I might feel a need to call; but knowing my penchant for run-on sentences, I’ll stick to the pen.

My 70-something father roars with laughter whenever he reads the Opinion Line. When he got an internet connection, he only wanted a shortcut to the WEagle so he could read them each day – where they have extended OL entries. I’m glad he enjoys them, but the OL is not a guilty pleasure my father and I share.

I’ve had every call I ever made published. About 6 or 7 in all.

I often wish this forum had audio.
