An interesting "Boomer Files" link at the MSNBC/Newsweek Web site provides baby boomers a chance to test their knowledge of their growing years from the 1960s through the 1990s. The quiz "Questions of Faith" tests knowledge on topics such as what religious leader the Beatles studied in 1968 (Maharishi Mahesh Yogi). Music trivia includes identifying whom Joni Mitchell (in photo)was singing about in "Free Man in Paris" (David Geffen).
If you don’t respond well, don’t despair. Most boomers seem to score in the 50 percent range for both.

I didn’t see the Questions of Faith quiz, but I did take the 4 I did see and was surprised at what I knew–and didn’t. I scored higher on sports than I would have expected. 40% for a female isn’t all that bad.
Did poorly on music…I guess I listen to the tunes but not who was doing them or who was in the bands or what they were doing outside of making records. 36%. I should be ashamed.
54% on Multimedia, so I paid attention half of the time. *grin*
And a whopping 61% on sex. Hmmmmmm *wicked grin*
How about it, guys? How’d you do?
I did the worst on sports. Some of the questions covered events in the 1990s of which I can’t recollect due to too much OJ and Lewisky exposure.
Multimedia I did okay and sex, well I always did fall asleep afterwards. What?
You know what they say about the sixties and the seventies, “if you can remember them, you weren’t really there…”
Classof65, you didn’t smoke any did you?
