Google a candidate and find the truth?

The perennial problem facing voters and columnists before an election is trying to decide if the candidate made a specific claim or not on a particular issue. If the prediction of Google founder and CEO Eric Schmidt (in photo) comes true, you will only need to “Google” the candidate’s name for an online “truth predictor” test.
Schmidt feels that most candidates don’t realize the impact the Internet will have on the future of politics and the power of the Web in campaigns and deciding elections. This includes unflattering videos on YouTube, which Google is buying. According to research giant Pew Internet, as of August, 26 million Americans or 13 percent of all Americans over the age of 18 logged on for information on candidates and elections. Of course, the question is whether the information they are finding online is really the truth.

I would not doubt this information at all, if you are reading this and are planning to vote, you can bet you will be looking for information about candidates on the internet. The one great thing about the internet is that it is not a controlled media by any political parties at lease I hope that it will never be.As far as weather it is true or not true, you just have to decide for yourself.

Truth:Paul Morrison is a liar, there are no outstanding judgements or fines against Bryan Brown. The US Supreme Court tossed out many cases, all across the country, which had ILLEGALLY used RICO laws or KKK Act Laws against abortion protesters like Bryan Brown.Morrison is misleading, in that he sites Browns “arrests” without noting Brown’s obvious legal skill in avoiding convictions, and without saying that those “arrests” were for peaceful protests.Morrison is in the back pocket of abortionist George Tiller. Tiller fears that his incest and child- rape-related abortion business will decline if Tiller has to start following the law. Tiller doesnt want to protect the girls that the pervs are dragging into his clinic.Morrison doesnt want to protect those poor girls either, it seems!Type “Ku Klux Klan Act Abortion” into your browser, or “RICO Act Abortion” into your browser.Legal morons like Morrison were on the wrong side in several cases. Morrisons budy, Tiller, lost in all of those Supreme Court decisions! If Morrison was a good attorney, he would recognize that the “end does not justify the means” and Morrison would condemn the lawbreakers who corrupted the system in their zeal to punish Bryan Brown.Phil Kline made a courageous decision when he hired Bryan Brown, a legal mind much brighter than anything I have seen from Morrison. How many of us have had cases against us thrown out by a ruling of the Supreme Court?(Smile, yah, me too.)—-Truth?Raj Goyle is making false attacks against Bonnie Huy for voting against a bill to raise the minimum age for marriage in Kansas. The truth is, Bonnie Huy voted FOR an increase in the marriage age after the Bill came back from the Senate. She only objected to the original House version because it did not allow for any exceptions. Emancipated minors do exist, and health insurance might be a compelling issue, dont you think?Goyle is a former ACLU staff attorney. The ACLU has a stated position against Parental Consent or Parental Notice in juvenile abortion cases. The ACLU also fights in court for the “rights” of NAMBLA, the North American Man Boy Love Association. NAMBLA wants to eliminate statutory rape as a crime, by lowering the age of consent for sex.So Raj Goyle, you falsely accuse Bonnie Huy of voting against a bill to prevent young kids from getting married. (False, because in the end, Bonnie stood her ground and got what she wanted in the final bill, which you did not mention in your smarmy mailing.)However, Raj Goyle, you NEVER disagreed with your employer, the ACLU, concerning NAMBLA or juvenile abortion restrictions? In other words, a 14 year old boy can have sex with a man, if the ACLU and NAMBLA have their way, and a 14 year old girl can have an abortion, and the ACLU won’t let us stop her, but by God, we can’t let those two 14 year olds get married?Type “NAMBLA ACLU” into your browser and see how Goyle’s employer supports pedophiles.Type “ACLU Goyle” into your browser to find out about all the people Goyle sued in Maryland.Type “Goyle Center for American Progress” in your browser and find out how Goyle wants to give full Constitutional rights to foreign terrorists.Type “Raj Goyle Immigration” into your browser and read the paper Goyle wrote opposing the deportation of illegal immigrants. You also can type ACLU Fred Phelps in your browser, and see how Goyle’s employer protects Fred Phelps. The ACLU even opposes Tiahrt’s Bill to deny taxpayer funds to Phelps. Phelps asks for attorneys’ fees when he wins “free speech” cases in court, after protesting at military funerals. No big surprise there, the ACLU lives off of taxpayer funds by taking the government to court all the time. The ACLU knows that if we can deny Phelps his attorneys fees for dispicable conduct, we can go after the ACLU next.(Attorneys fees are NOT a Constitutional Right, and Tiahrt, as a member of Congress, is given the authority to limit the Courts by the Constitution. Morrison probably doesnt know that, either!)

Paulie………..YOU need to get a life! Why would you be up in the middle of the night shilling? Your accusations about Paul Morrison and Raj Goyle are totally baseless. Morrison is a local prosecutor, don’t try to attach your anti-choice rhetoric on him. At least he knows HOW to take a case to trial, unlike your shill-master Phill Kline. Raj Goyle did work for the ACLU (for 1 year), but basically only on two cases. Neither of these cases had ANYTHING to do with the rhetoric you spew. Face it, you and your “Republican” friends only want extreme-right wing, evangelical candidates to control any and all government. Most of the “Republicans” I know have very moderate views and truthfully are tired of the divisive politics you extremists practice.Get ready for some major changes on November 7th.

So the Religious Right Republicans don’t like activist Judges but they love it when one a judge sides with them?

Just because the case against Bryan Brown was dismissed does not make Bryan Brown a legal genius. If that is what happened, then perhaps it was called a technicality? And we all know that cases dismissed because of technicality always leaves a doubt as to whether the person charged really was guilty or not.

Paul I would say that your confused these people with your simple logic. By inviting them to google the facts you went beyond their capabilities to seek out the truth. What is scary is that people like this act as educated voters on election day. Voters don’t be afraid to search out the fact and then vote accordingly. You owe it to yourself, your state and your country.

    Well hello Pat

You are new to the forum? I guess you do not know that Paul F Rosell is a universally despised presence here. Embrace him at the peril of your own credibility as he has none. Ol prollie Paul is now consigned to sneaking his shills in during the wee hours, where he hopes he will evade detection and exposure.

Google that candidattes? I got one for ya. Google Todd Tiahrt and Mark Foley.

(Mark Foley is the Florida congressman who resigned in disgrace after it was revealed that he was soliciting minors)

Google Tiahrt and Foley and see just how closely Todd Tiahrt worked with Mark Foley. Then ask yourself if it is POSIBBLE that Tiahrt could not have known about the sordid not so secret life of his friend. Don’t ask Tanker Todd about it cause he aint talking. DO ask yourself why THAT might be.

Paul F Rosell,I am worried about you. If you want to reduce abortion and ultimately stop it then you and your types need to start putting a plan together. What alternatives do you have in mind? Will you adopt? Will your fellow church member adopt? Show us how adament and strong willed you are about anti-abortion – adopt a child or two then you can stand up and show the rest of the GOP and YOUR Christian family what a true man will do to save a human life. Until you start doing that your ranting and shaming will continue to be ignored.Paul Morrison makes me feel safe. Kline is psychotic looking and acting.

Paul invites us to google the information because, as usual, he’s full of shit. He’s hoping you’ll find right-wing hit pieces, and stop there, or–better yet–take his assertions at face value.

But back to the topic: Wiseman got it exactly right. Example: You can find exactly what Al Gore said on “creating the Internet,” when and where he said it, the context, extended discussions, and perhaps the degree to which such a comment could be justified.

However, there are also numerous sites that quote Gore as saying “I invented the Internet,” an obvious absurdity that never crossed his lips. Caveat lector.

Good point rage. Google will only give you what has been posted on the net – no way to separate the wheat from the chaff.

That’s the beautiful thing about negative attacks, as Paul F. Rosell-out well knows: once you make them, the other side has to respond and then they’re talking about what YOU want them to talk about rather than what they want to talk about.

Well, it looks like Raj and the Raj Rangers are kicking Bonnie butt from the way Paul Rosell-out is going ballistic with his increasing irrational attacks.

Here’s how Paul argues–the Supreme Court said that “separate is not equal, and desegregated schools.” This position was supported by Martin Luther King. It was also supported by the International Socialist Worker party. The International Socialist Worker Party was supported by the communist dictators of the old Soviet Union.

Therefore, King and the Supreme Court are communists.

    *****

Paul, get a grip. Just because the ACLU works to protect the Civil Rights of all Americans–that includes NAMBLA, the NAACP, the KKK, Mark A. Foley and the White Aryan Resistance–doesn’t mean that they AGREE with the message or goals, far from it.

Wrap your tiny mind around this concept, Paul Roshill: protected the right to free speech means protecting speech that YOU DISAGREE WITH. Everybody wants speech they agree with. Hitler, Stalin, Bush, all of them allow speech they agree with–it’s the other kind of speech that needs protecting.

And why DID you have to pay the Kansas Ethics Commission a 2,500 dollar fine, Paul?

    What’s up with that?

capn – “Therefore, King and the Supreme Court are communists” – I knew that years ago. The KKK and John Birch Society said so way back in the 50s. Paul is just catching up.
