Maybe Brownback should listen to the Prime Minister of Iraq:

Aide: Iraqi leader using U.S. angstSTEVEN R. HURST and QASSIM ABDUL-ZAHRAAssociated PressBAGHDAD, Iraq - After a hastily arranged video conference with George Bush, Iraq's prime minister said Saturday that the U.S. president promised to move swiftly to turn over full control of the Iraqi army to the Baghdad government. A close aide to Nouri al-Maliki said later the prime minister was intentionally playing on U.S. voter displeasure with the war to strengthen his hand with Washington.

Hassan al-Suneid, a member of al-Maliki's inner circle, said the video conference was sought because issues needed airing at a higher level than with U.S. Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad.

Al-Suneid said the prime minister complained to Bush that Khalilzad, an Afghan-born Sunni Muslim, was treating the Shiite al-Maliki imperiously.

"The U.S. ambassador is not (L. Paul) Bremer (the former U.S. administrator in Iraq). He does not have a free rein to do what he likes. Khalilzad must not behave like Bremer but rather like an ambassador," al-Suneid quoted al-Maliki as saying.

The Bush Administration has done alot of damage to our country but they used the cover of God by the people who make up the Religious Right. I put the blame of this Iraq War at the feet of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell also.

And I resent these wackos hijacking the label Christian. What they are doing is anything but Christian.

so we have power hungry, greed driven sheeple who will listen to any soundbite thrown to them by the likes of Rush, Hannity, Coulter and etc. These sheeple think they are better than the rest of us because they are the holy ones.

But pride goeth before the fall and I believe the country is fed up with all this self righteousness and fake piety on the part of these Religious Righties.

There is no dirty trick which Karl Rove won't pull to keep his dictatorship on a roll. It's a shame Bush is too dumb to understand what is happening to America.

Republicans should stay home and not vote, this country's future depends on it.

It took a lot of blood and sacrifice to build our Constitutional Democracy and this all-important election is all that stands in the way of losing our country.

That may be difficult for some to understand, but just one look at Iraq should give you a clue as to what this Bush Administration is really up to. There is a lot of hype as to why we're there, but not one good reason.

And that is what is in the hearts of those who now occupy the White House.

If you can't vote democratic, then just don't vote.

Ted backed-up the load of crap and dumped it. I've never heard so much twisted, distortion and rank political garbage since I last read AIPAC's daily briefing { three "terrorists" disguised as shepherds }.

We've sure got ourselves a mess to clean-up.

Sam Brownback is using all the soundbite catch phrases that plays to his Religious Right GOP people. He is wanting to be president and he knows that his only chance is through the likes of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. Sam has to keep saying the phrases that works on these sheeple. Religious fanatics do not care about the country as a whole, they only care about abortion. And abortion only means the act of abortion. They do not care about the babies once they are born, they only care about if there is a possibility of an abortion.

The number of uninsured in this country is rising each year. And the U.S. is supposed to be "#1." Yeah, that's a joke.

The number of poor has risen. Where did they come from? The lower middle class, and even some middle middle class. These people are being ignored, while those who have the floor and the MSM are telling us that we're in a fiscal recovery. Uh huh.

The housing market is slipping, sometimes sliding.

Jobs of all kinds are being shipped overseas. As someone else mentioned, how do the rich and this administration figure we'll be a consumer nation when more and more people aren't able to consume, thanks to the drop in the number of jobs?

Stop listening to what they want you to hear and take a look around. A year ago, I was yard-saling with my daughter in Derby. I saw tons of House for Sale and House for Rent signs on every block. Don't you wonder why? And these were in the more affluent areas of Derby.

Listen to the people who used to have good jobs. Listen when they tell you that they're now working at McDonalds, if they could even GET a job at McDonalds and weren't considered over-qualified.

Stop thinking about yourself, because if you don't, pretty soon you're going to be among the ones who have slipped between the cracks. It can happen to anyone.

Why should everybody be worry about the money that is being spent on all this after all it is just a made up thing.I am amaze at how many people forget that the almighty dollar is just a representation of a once backed by gold item and that this will not have any affect on our grand children's future because we can change those rules to suit our needs whenever we want too.Brownback is a joke of politician; he wants open borders that will allow a wide variety of terrorists, gangs and criminals. If you want to be smart about voting, try being an Unaffiliated voter and you can keep them dancing for their political office.

Low unemployment figures? Ask those who have lost good paying jobs and are now working 2 to 3 low paying jobs just to keep their head above water.

UNDEREMPLOYMENT. Say that word 25 times a day until it sinks in.

Will,

We're going to pay, eventually, whether next year or in 3 years. Our children will also pay, along with our grandchildren and possible even great-grandchildren if we don't start paying off some of this debt soon.

Keep in mind that the national debt figures do NOT include the cost of this fiasco in Iraq. At the time, the majority backed the war, but when it comes time to pay for it, nobody wants to. Instead, we'll ALL pay for it, and we'll keep paying for generations until we put an end to wasting the lives of our men and women, not to mention innocent people, and the money it takes to put them there.

Face it. There's no way we can't pay down the debt, unless you want to be owned by China and other countries. Is that what you want?

You can't vote out Brownback, yet, but you can send him, Roberts, and the lunatics running Washington a message with the ouster of Todd Tiahrt! I wonder if Brownback not being satisfied with how things are going is in reference to the new record death total of troops in Oct.

Will,Re: Conservative Judges, I wouldn't mind conservative judges if they were true conservatives. Unfortunately the term has come to mean either religious nuts bent on saving America from whatever they might perceive as sin, or business men who are trying to justify their claimed right to screw whomever they please.

Exactly RD.If paying 2,000 more is the price for insuring we don't CRIPPLE our nation economically for GENERATIONS to come, then...

It would be immoral and damned unAmerican to NOT do so.

I don't understand you Tracy. First you complain that we're overburdened financially, then you say that we should all just vote Democrat and pay more (not less) so in the long run our kids pay less? And how pray tell, does that work?

Tracy

I love you too.

I'm asking Republicans that if they can't vote democratic, then just stay home. The democrats must wrest control away from these lunatics in the White House and rid ourselves from them, then we can all go back to debating issues important to both-sides of the isle.

Right now loyal Americans need to think about America first, then after we get our country back, we'll go at it and call each other every name in the book.{ partisanship }

I read in this morning's paper that we'll probably have to pay more to heat our homes this winter. How much more can the average American take? How can the republicans brag about an improved economy under Bush when so many people are barely holding it together? I'm not a big Walmart fan, but at least they're offering some relief to those who have to choose between eating and taking their medications. We are so overcharged in this country for eveything so that corporate profits can remain astronomical.

#1, Bush inherited a surplus, not a recession#2, unemployment may be down but so are wages. Therefore high paying manufacturing and programming jobs are being replaced with low wage service jobs#3, The DOW is no indication of a positive economy. The vast wealth of the stock market is owned by the rich#4, Overall wages haven't risen dramatically, studies released by the government have shown that they remain stagnant while productivity has increased#5, Gas prices have plunged? Perhaps because Bush stopped buying a lot to put in the reserves to inflate prices. Apparently Newsmax forgot about the $3 a gallon prices which we'll see again after the election.#6, America hasn't been attacked by lions since 9/11 therefore Bush's policies are working. Yeah, that makes sense. Don't forget about the anthrax attacks that happened after 9/11#7, This is true, but that hasn't resulted in higher wages, nor can the GOP take credit for this#8, One word, donuthole. Not to mention the Bush policy eliminated the ability for medicare to haggle over prescription drug prices therefore increasing the price tag of the program which Bush claimed was going to be much lower.#9, Why are conservative judges a good thing?#10, The deficit that Bush raised has been cut in half? We should give Bush a sticker for increasing the deficit from the surplus he inherited? Nope.

Therefore 10 reasons why the GOP doesn't deserve anyone vote on Tuesday.

Exactly RD.If paying 2,000 more is the price for insuring we don't CRIPPLE our nation economically for GENERATIONS to come, then...

It would be immoral and damned unAmerican to NOT do so.

"If Democrats take majorities in the House and Senate, the average family of four can expect to pay an average of $2,000 more in taxes."

Unless George W. Bush plans to hand over the family fortunes of every person who has benefitted financial from this war, expect to pay more taxes.

If you don't want to pay down the debt THIS PRESIDENTS AND THE REPUBLICAN HOUSE AND SENATE have incurred, start learning Chinese.

Hey, Ted. In your dreams.

You keep following the same old, same old that enabled GW to stay in office in 2004 (an election that is still being questioned), and not only will the Republicans lose one part of Congress, they'll lose both AND the presidency.
