New category archive

FYI: If you look at the right rail, you’ll see that we are starting an archive based on blog topic. It will take us a while to build this up, but I hope it will be a useful tool for those who are interested in particular subjects.

Kudos, this is a fine idea. It might also be instructive to archive posts by some the regulars here. That way if people wanted to review some of my greatest hits, they could simply click my name and all my posts could be called up.

I’d rather see the categories list than the recent posts. I really don’t care who posted when/where. Either remove the recent posting list or move it below the categories list.

Just curious, who enters the categories? A blog could cross several categories. I’m in the website content/design business, so I study the human web dynamics and behavior.

Filed under Dubious, bogus and utterly phony headlines.

Might want to put the “Main” link either at the top of the chosen category or in every thread. When I go to a category, the only way to get back to Main is to use the Back button.

I see that there is a category for the “Religious right”, which I think that I can correctly assume will be articles condemning that position, Why then does the WE not have a category for the “Godless left”?

    Hmmmm…interesting.

This COULD keep older threads in play longer. But I would be against removing the “recent posts” There are certain folks who need immediate attention. I don’t want to have to go looking for them.

There should be one category for the “PROPOSED $ 1/4 BILLION DOLLAR WHITE ELEPHANT DOWNTOWN ARENA.” This arena, if built, will become the biggest waste of public tax money ever spent in Kansas.

Its particularly obnoxious considering all the REAL needs we have in our county and the various communities and Wichita itself. Current county commissioners, Birtnet (recently voted out), Winters, Norton, Shortino and Unruh, should hang their heads in collective shame.

Now the only thing I’d like to see is a ban on posts of more than four paragraphs.

Good idea. I dont have the time to be online all the time so I miss alot of material.I see Ian is well-versed in Yiddish, thus proving that it is acceptable for racists to learn the language of their adversaries to better communicate their feelings towards them.

    KUDOS to WEBlog.
